Used low, mileage, engine, and transmission swap
Sloppy Mechanic work and a crook. Provided him with a GOOD used low mileage used engine and transmission for swapping out. On the test drive the serpentine belt we came loose because of a bolt they forgot to tighten and caused Loud clanking sound. Took close to a week to get him to address the issue. He returned my car to me with a check engine, light on and stalling. Had to take it to another mechanic to diagnose. Codes for check, engine light indicated a faulty, throttle position sensor and a misfire on fifth cylinder. He charge me $2200 in labor alone. Easy fixes for a competent mechanic . He is an INcompetent mechanic and a VERY SHADY CHATACTER !

Transmission, water pump, window regulators
Larry is a dead honest guy, won't BS you with excuses, he troubleshoots spot on instead. I've taken my 3 cars to his man over the last year and the work is always done within the estimate OR LESS, and done on time. I've had transmission work other shops in town could not diagnose on my Ford, I have had a water pump put in my Olds and he did it for $80 less than my previous mechanic quoted me. He flushed my antifreeze free, and the other shop wanted $50 more for that, so make that $130 to the good. Finally, my Mercury, broken gear on the window regulator, not a big deal, $60 fix, but, to watch him wash his hands 5 times so he kept my interior spotless, who respects your car like that in this ghost town? No one else would do that but Larry. You cannot go wrong here, and I'll never go anywhere else. Friendly, honest, and thorough. Tell him Rich sent you.
