Three months after purchasing my new 2013 Nissan Sentra, I was unfortunately in an accident that caused extensive damage to my passenger side and rear axle. Being that the Firkins Dealership has a Nissan Certified Collision Center, it was a natural thought to have it repaired there. After about three months of my car being in the shop and me being in a rental that is in no way comparable to my own car, I am told that my car is ready, so my brother (a former auto body detailer and lifelong car enthusiast) and I go to pick it up. Unfortunately as we had dreaded, our standards were not met with multiple small cosmetic details that should not be apparent on a brand new car. Parts were ordered and I was sent on my way with my car with an appointment in the near future to have them taken care of. That evening my car died and would not start in my driveway. Missing work, the next day I had the car towed back to the body shop to be looked at. They can not explain what happened and essentially blame it on the staff at the Nissan Dealership for doing something wrong while checking a computer code, and now all of the sudden I need a new fuel pump. Another month of waiting for the part to arrive, during which I paid an unexpected visit to the shop to see how things were going. I was previously told that all the cosmetic issues we had discussed had been complete and we were only waiting for the pump. When I arrived not only were barely any of the cosmetic issues dealt with and it seemed as though my car had been sitting in the same spot the whole time, I also happened to find a rusty razor blade stuck to the top of my new car with a large rust spot around it. Miraculously, after my visit that friday, the part is in and my car is ready for me to pick up on wednesday. All seems well except for yet another cosmetic detail that was not present the last time I saw my car that is scheduled to be dealt with within the next few weeks which meant I would have to yet again inconve

I brought my car in on October 6, 2020, due to scratches on the nose cone due to debris that flew up from the road. When I picked up my car on October 8th, I was extremely pleased with the work done to correct the damage. I know that Christina Perez knew how important it was to me to put the car back in its original condition, and she made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The folks at Nott's automotive are as honest, reliable, friendly and professional as they come. I brought my 2006 Expedition in for an intermittent issue I was having. They spent several hours of the course of two days troubleshooting and trying to replicate the issue. They were unable to replicate the issue I was having and their conclusion was that culprit could have been bad gasoline. They also informed me that my brakes were just fine, after Tire Kingdom told me that it was "urgent" that they be replaced. They refused to take any money from me for their time. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, you couldn't ask for a better shop than this. I recommend them to everyone I know in the area.

They were nice, easy to understand, prompt, inexpensive and overall very good to work with. They towed my car today and I am very pleased with everything. Next time I break down they will be my first call. Excellent job guys. Oh and I had Justin. He was awesome.

This is a response to Don Coy’s review who does not even live in or travel to Florida. We are sorry your company delivery van was in a rear end accident and required repairs. Before starting, we communicated with your company on multiple occasions, provided a written estimate and received written authorization to commence repairs with the understanding that payment in full would be due upon completion. No one from your company was advised that your vehicle could be repaired in 3 days, it was just not possible due to the extent of the damage incurred. This was a rear end collision that required multiple replacement parts, repairs and paint refinish. It took longer than 3 days to receive the parts needed to begin the repair process. That is simply made up information from whomever told you that in your office. When your vehicle was completed, you are correct that your driver was notified and came to our shop on a Friday afternoon. You stated that shoddy workmanship was made but you nor anyone from your company had even seen or inspected the vehicle prior to your untrue written statement on the internet. This is just a slanderous vindictive lie on your part. We could not release your vehicle to your driver because he did not have a check with him and your office could not reach you for authorization to use the company credit card. That’s it, plain and simple. He sat at our office playing phone tag with your office trying to figure out how payment was going to be made. Finally, he gave up waiting for a response from your office and left advising us that it would be resolved Monday. We were then notified that an insurance company was going to pay for the repairs but that payment was not yet processed. We took photos as requested and forwarded them to your insurance company. Scam alert! Rennen Imports will scam you! Avoid using this “repair shop.” The idiot with the annoying British accent knows nothing about Porsche or German motors. Read the previous reviews, the negative reviews are very accurate. This scammer “repair shop” tried to tell me that my Porsche was dead, and their only option was a new motor starting at around $22,000. After paying to have my car towed here and back home, then paying for their fraudulent diagnosis, I had to pay yet again to have it towed to a REAL repair shop where they were able to determine that it was a $900 part and after labor, everything was going to cost $10,500. A big difference from $22,000. Then when given a chance to make things right, the idiot tells me he was never going to repair the engine, he would have just bought a new engine to put in, even though that contradicts what he had previously said when he told me it was going to cost $22,000 to “repair,” not replace the engine. Even when given the chance to make things right, this place tried to argue and blame me. The idiot then told me it was my fault that I bought a worthless car and there was nothing he could do. Obviously, I should have read all the previous reviews for this place, as the previous reviews are loaded with customers experiencing the EXACT same garbage service. Read the reviews, look at the other people who were “quoted” insanely high prices and all went elsewhere and paid LESS THAN HALF what Rennen quoted. Previous reviews: Rennen quoted $4,000 – Customer got the repair done for $569 Rennen quoted $800 – Customer got the repair done for $500 Rennen quoted $669 – Customer got the repair done for $239 And that’s just the ones who took the time to write a review for this scammer shop. This doesn’t even include all the negative reviews that all have the same theme: brought my car to Rennen Imports, got the car back and this was broken, that was broken, and Rennen Imports takes ZERO responsibility for breaking anything. In closing, you have a scammer “repair shop,” up-charging customers for repairs by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’d break stuff on your car and claim they had nothing to do with it. If you like your car, enjoy not being scammed, and don’t want to spend 10 times what repairs should cost; I would HIGHLY suggest going literally ANYWHERE else. You would be 100 times better off trying to repair your car yourself with zero experience or knowledge of cars, since this would still be a more experienced and knowledge than any person working on your vehicle at Rennen Imports.
