I brought my car in on October 6, 2020, due to scratches on the nose cone due to debris that flew up from the road. When I picked up my car on October 8th, I was extremely pleased with the work done to correct the damage. I know that Christina Perez knew how important it was to me to put the car back in its original condition, and she made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. I own Body Lines Auto Body and I just happen to stumble across this post from Eliza. I have no idea who this person is. We do not receive parts or ship parts and never have. We are a collision repair facility and have been here for 24 years and have never gone belly-up. This must be a mistake.

They Had our vehicle for over 1 month. Was told every other day it would be done. They said they fixed the transmission problem & then wasn't fixed. A dollar was stolen from our center console, Mcdonald cup in the cup holder. & then when supposedly the transmission was fixed the spark plug blew out of the engine on their test drive. We Were told it was fixed, drove it 2 blocks & was making loud noises, supposedly spark plug shot out again. Picked up again the next day because it was supposed to be fixed & same thing happened. I pulled out the coil pack & they didn't even replace it, instead they cemented it onto the engine block. Spark plug wasn't re-threaded like they said they were going to. There was also glue on the plug as well. When my wife attempted to talk with the owner about their shotty work the owner yelled and cursed at her & told her to get off his property. We were just asking for part of the money back from the spark plug issue they failed to fix.

Gary does such excellent work. I have used his body shop numerous times over the past 15 years and referred others to him as well. This time he re-painted my bumpers and side mirrors. My truck is 12 years old and it looks brand new. He knocked out the dings and did a stellar paint job. Gary's prices are very reasonable and his work is superior.

They repaired my truck quickly and went beyond to ensure everything was properly corrected. They kept me advised of the progress. Truck was very clean when I retrieved it.

I brought my Toyota pickup to this Maaco on 49th for body work, to replace a rear bumper, and to repaint the entire vehicle; I was quoted that the entire job would take 3-4 days. The vehicle was released to me and had to be returned to this shop multiple times over a THREE WEEK period! I was forced to drive back and forth because of repeated damage and incomplete/incompetent service done by these jokers. I created and presented several punch-lists to the manager Hank Hamend and I attempted on multiple visits to give them a chance to repair the damage and to finish the work, however each time I released the vehicle to Mr. Hamend (five times in all)…each and every time there was NEW damage to the vehicle! REALLY?? What was more frustrating and insulting were the comments that Mr. Hamend made after several return trips…this lying dog tried to say that it was there beforehand! I asked him, if that were true (and it is not)…WHY didn't you fix it? I paid/contracted you to fix ALL of the dents and repair ALL bodywork issues anyway! The overall quality of the entire paint job was poor as you can see where every minor dent was repaired and not sanded properly; Maaco supposedly guarantees against this! I have before/after photos and witnesses that will corroborate that Maaco created NEW damage; how is this even possible?? I've dated, documented and photographed all of the damage each time my vehicle was returned to me and Mr. Hamend acknowledged every mistake and assured me that all of the damage created by Maaco was guaranteed and that everything would be repaired on the punch lists I gave him; he also said that I had a Maaco (5) year warranty on paint and workmanship. I was very ignorant and signed off on work that I should have inspected more closely; in short, I trusted this chop shop to complete the work. Upon our last meeting on 6/19 after having the vehicle for 11 hours…Mr. Hamend returned my truck to me with nothing fixed on the punch-list except for the rear flares that were missing all week – but they were painted the WRONG COLOR a second time! Only this time it was noticeably darker and when I inquired about it…he smiled and laughingly, said that it was fresh paint and that it would lighten. I told him that I didn’t believe that to be true and that I would be contacting him once again; he laughed and said I’m looking forward to it and drove off before I could say another word! After MANY attempts, I am through negotiating with Maaco’s incompetence and lack of customer service. After damaging a brand new $513.00 rear bumper, breaking four $63.00 step pads, painting the flares the WRONG color (Est. $150.00) and losing parts everywhere!!! I tried to contact the owner (Mr. Carlos Perez)…he never responded and doesnt give a damn! I HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else and stay away from this place - GO here if you want to see pictures and a list of the kind of work these morons are capable of! Scam alert! Rennen Imports will scam you! Avoid using this “repair shop.” The idiot with the annoying British accent knows nothing about Porsche or German motors. Read the previous reviews, the negative reviews are very accurate. This scammer “repair shop” tried to tell me that my Porsche was dead, and their only option was a new motor starting at around $22,000. After paying to have my car towed here and back home, then paying for their fraudulent diagnosis, I had to pay yet again to have it towed to a REAL repair shop where they were able to determine that it was a $900 part and after labor, everything was going to cost $10,500. A big difference from $22,000. Then when given a chance to make things right, the idiot tells me he was never going to repair the engine, he would have just bought a new engine to put in, even though that contradicts what he had previously said when he told me it was going to cost $22,000 to “repair,” not replace the engine. Even when given the chance to make things right, this place tried to argue and blame me. The idiot then told me it was my fault that I bought a worthless car and there was nothing he could do. Obviously, I should have read all the previous reviews for this place, as the previous reviews are loaded with customers experiencing the EXACT same garbage service. Read the reviews, look at the other people who were “quoted” insanely high prices and all went elsewhere and paid LESS THAN HALF what Rennen quoted. Previous reviews: Rennen quoted $4,000 – Customer got the repair done for $569 Rennen quoted $800 – Customer got the repair done for $500 Rennen quoted $669 – Customer got the repair done for $239 And that’s just the ones who took the time to write a review for this scammer shop. This doesn’t even include all the negative reviews that all have the same theme: brought my car to Rennen Imports, got the car back and this was broken, that was broken, and Rennen Imports takes ZERO responsibility for breaking anything. In closing, you have a scammer “repair shop,” up-charging customers for repairs by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’d break stuff on your car and claim they had nothing to do with it. If you like your car, enjoy not being scammed, and don’t want to spend 10 times what repairs should cost; I would HIGHLY suggest going literally ANYWHERE else. You would be 100 times better off trying to repair your car yourself with zero experience or knowledge of cars, since this would still be a more experienced and knowledge than any person working on your vehicle at Rennen Imports.
