Transmission rebuilt
I would just like to warn people that Jim the owner of action transmission in a CROOK! We have gotten 3 transmissions from him and we still don't have one that works. Save your time and money and do not go to this guy. He doesn't stand by his work. Let me add this is the 3rd transmission in 3 weeks and my truck is still broke! He doesn't care to make it right and what would have cost me less that $1000 has now gone well over 2k. Please do not use this shop and warn your friends and family because this guy will screw you!

Transmission
This company has a location over at 4811 N Palafox St Pensacola, FL 32505 which is the location I visited. And PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! The owner is a scam artist, period. I got a quote for a reasonable amount and after saying my transmission needed this that and the other thing on the rebuild they did the work without contacting me first so I could call around and get the best price they went ahead and did the work and charged me 5x the quote price. I had my transmission looked at by another transmission shop and a reputable mechanic shop and they said the never changed the parts, used my old ones and stripped pieces so my torque convertor would have to be replaced again! After having my proof and questioning the owner for the work done he stated that I was "Dumb" and knew nothing. Please, at all costs AVOID THIS PLACE. Action Transmissions already has 8 complaints on the BBB, should've known..
