Brake Job
I went to this Firestone for a brake inspection, and they told me all was fine, that I had a least a year before anything needed to be done. I thought you've got to be kidding me with the noise it was making when I pressed on the brakes. I went on to have some minor work done oil change ect. I came back less than a year later for the same brake noise and they said, awe man sir, you need a complete brake job - It cost me over $800 - wow, don't get Had like me!!!

Engine running rough
Be ready to overpay if you use their services. I took my Ford F250 to them for diagnostics on why my engine was running rough. While there I also wanted them to check out why my suspension was rattling. After not getting the diagnostics done on the 1st day as they promised, the 2nd day they called and said that 2 ignition coils are bad, you need new spark plugs, need new shocks, and front sway bars are broken. My truck has 143,000 so it was not a surprise to me that all of the above is needed but the surprise is the amount they wanted to charge. They quoted $1931.00 to do all of the things mentioned above. I immediately thought price sounded high so I told them I could not afford that much in repairs and would be in to pick up my truck. I drove about 100 yards down the street to Kaufman Tires (who by the way also does full auto service, not just tires) and told them everything I needed done. The price to have everything done exactly as Firestone was going to do it ended up being only $1113.00!!!! Yes, $800 less than Firestone. So whatever you do when needing a repair you should shop around, especially if considering these folks over at Firestone in Lawrenceville.
