TCM
Absolutely the WORST repair shop EVER!!! Do NOT go here! They charged me $120 to tell me my truck needed upwards from $2000 to $5000+ in repairs. I already had a transmission shop pull the DTC from my TCM and told them my TCM was bad. They quoted me saying my truck needed a new throttle body, harness assy, and loads of other expensive repairs and possibly a new transmission! My truck had 40K miles, always serviced and always garaged! I knew it didn't need all those repairs!!! I had to call Chrysler to get them to intervene. My truck sat outside in their rainy lot for an entire month. They replaced the PCM by mistake and then had to wait for a TCM to get there. (STILL... ONE MONTH!?!) That fixed it! A lousy $200 part that took less than 5 minutes to install! When we went to pick the truck up, the service mgr., Joe, called me into his office and said, "ya sob story 'bout your kid ain't my problem. I don't even get to see ma family!" I was Horrified! We left our lives on the mainland to be nearer to our child who has malignant cancer and has undergone grueling surgeries and treatments and didn't want to move back to the mainland so we moved here! I told them we can't afford to leave our truck there with a blank check! When we got home, Chrysler called and said Joe called and told them we are NEVER welcome back to their dealership again! Wow! We got a notice in the mail the following day that there is a recall on our airbag that came out six mos. ago! You think they would have repaired that while our truck sat in their lot an ENTIRE MONTH! I guess we can't go back there to have it fixed. If it explodes, guess who's going to be responsible for the damages and/or deaths??? Do yourselves a huge favor and READ REVIEWS and find a reputable, knowledgeable, honest repair shop and do NOT go to Kama'aina Motors!
