I Have had many services performed at all pro. I also own a repair shop in desmoines i have sublet ed quite a few cars over to all pro for alignments. when my machine wasn't working to my satisfaction I have also had several transmissions overhauled. is what iv come to understand it's easy to be a good shop when going well.it's when things go bad is when you find out what they are really made of l had a trans they repaired just out of warranty both miles and time they were under no obligation to do anything for me I felt it shouldn't be having these problems this soon even tho out of warranty they agreed and re overhauled the trans at no charge allowing me to pass that on to my customer at no charge. always a nice professional experience at all pro. thanks Pat Gary and sometimes Evan Chris Danny O'Brien

Got quoted $1600 to put new brakes on an escape. Ridiculously high price. Took it somewhere else, got it done for less than half.

Our son was driving from St Paul to his college in Dallas when he started having car trouble on our Volvo S80. Thankfully, he made it to a hotel in a suburb of Des Moines, IA and started searching for a repair shop with the hope that the car could be fixed the next day. Tuffy in Ankeny was able to fit him in for an appointment, did a very thorough review of the problem, did a lot of troubleshooting and even connected with our mechanic in St Paul to review the recent history of the car. My son said that all the employees in the shop made "a college age kid as comfortable as possible" during his first experience with car trouble on a cross country trip. After several hours in the shop, they fixed the car and my son was on the road again. He finished his 14 hour trip with no other issues. Thanks so much Tuffy! We will be forever thankful. And will use your shop again if we happen to need it as we drive through Des Moines!

I took my Honda to Joey to replace the starter. The local Honda dealership wanted to charge me a huge amount for a refurbished starter. Joey was able to install a brand new starter with a 12 month warranty for a fraction of the cost. He was able to do the repair quickly. My wife's car had a nail in the front, passenger tire that we needed repaired ... I called Firestone on Fleur Drive to see if they could help us out ... I explained to them that we couldn't just "drop" the car off, that I'd have to wait there while they worked on it ... I was told "in that case" I should make an appointment, and that they could get me in at 1 PM the next day, sounded good, so I made the appointment, name, phone number, make & model, etc ... well, I showed up today, 20 minutes early for my "appointment" and was told that they were extremely busy, there were many other "ahead" of me, and that I'd have to wait at least 2 hours, probably more before they could "get to me" ... now, I didn't just walk in off the street (obviously what everybody in the waiting room had done), I had called a day in advance and made an appointment, but that didn't seem to matter or mean anything ... why would they not at least try to honor an appointment? ... I can understand them being busy, I could understand having to wait a bit longer until they finished a car and a bay opened up ... what I can't understand is why I automatically go to the back-of-the-line? ... it makes no sense whatsoever ... the kicker was when I was told "you're lucky I'm even letting you wait and squeezing you in" ... unbelievable ... I'm both retired and disabled, there is no way I could sit around on a plastic chair for 2-3 hours, that's exactly why I made an appointment! ... of course I left without them helping me, I strongly recommend not using this place if that's the way they do business and treat customers ... a terrible, disapointing experience, from now on I'll never even consider Firestone for any kind of repairs or tire purchases
