I am a single mama with three daughters so money is tight, and I depend on my car greatly! This is the second time I have used Lloyd's Automotive and again I walked away completely impressed. Both times they made me feel like a priority in that they got my car fixed and on the road quickly. The employees also made sure I understood what the problem was and answered all of my questions. Their prices were more then fair (I called around) and they were extremely professional and friendly. I will be recommending them to everyone!!

Scott was Awsome! We’ve been bringing or vehicles here for 10 plus yrs. honest and trustworthy, which is rare in the auto industry. We were getting ready to go on vacation and our car we were taking suddenly would not start. We just had them do our oil change and check for the upcoming trip a few days prior. The guys got our car in immediately figured out what was wrong , stupid key chip was bad. Not the starter we thought could be the issue. There are shops that would sell the 500 starter and get the key replacement part of the issue. Not these guys . We walked out for 29 bucks! Not 500 plus. We’re customers for life. We really like Lloyd's Automotive. I like that it has a family feel, the employees are always nice and I don't feel worried that we'll be taken advantage of with unnecessary services. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for customer service this visit is because when we scheduled our appointments we were supposed to have both vehicles serviced at the same time, but for some reason only 1 vehicle was scheduled. It all worked out though, you were able to service one right after the other. Thanks!

Ive been in 2 times in 2 months and Im seeing that they are acting as a dealership and charging Chiltons Time for every move they make. This results in gouging when doing diagnostic work or basic work such as a charging system checks etc. I managed shops in the past in this field and all shops used several different hourly rates depending on the procedure performed. Smaller shops like this should not charge Dealership prices? What has happened to free check of this or that so that you can get the business in the door and be fair about costs? I fear I may not be back as I have brought up the fact of this gouging and no one offered any concern about their practices. They just say that's what it is!! Ive spent thousands here over the years but it seems they are ruthless nowdays and its sad that the hometown atmosphere has gone from this company.

I had an accident on my way to work last Friday morning and damaged the front of my car. I was able to drive the car afterwards but on the way home Friday, my check engine light came on. I took it to Lloyd's Saturday morning and they determined that the radiator was cracked. I had already filed a claim and was scheduled to get it fixed at a local body shop but had to inform the insurance company about the additional damage. Lloyd's didn't fix the radiator because they said the damage to the car from the accident may have broken the mounts and done other damage that the body shop would have to repair anyway. I appreciated their honesty and they let me leave the car there over the weekend until the body shop could come get it. I promised I would come back for an oil change and to get the brakes fixed once I got the car back. I've always had good service from Lloyd's

Labor rate too high. Line work should be full rate. Diagnostic for charging system should NOT be full rate. Its a 5 minute job. Battery replacement isn't line work either. Its quick and easy. Full labor rate should not apply to certain jobs. Book rate is out of proportion on many services.

They were also very helpful in acquiring financing for @ $1500.00 worth of repairs I needed done to another vehicle in September 2017. The "6 months same as cash" financing was quite a relief since it gave me extra time to pay the bill without interest, instead of all at once.

Very satisfied with prompt service and the quality of repair. However, I still have difficulty understanding the high cost of repairs in comparison with the total value of the vehicle being repaired. It appears that new parts are always the answer rather than fixing the old--but maybe that's the best way to go. Sure wish repairs weren't so expensive!

I would like to receive a complete “checkout” list from the mechanic showing what was checked on the vehicle as well as what was fixed/repaired, what the mechanic may have found that is in need of repairs and a recommendation as to needed repairs. I have been using Lloyds for many years and just about the time I was looking for a nother repair facility, Lloyd made some necessary changes. Doug and Scott are great with customers and are very fair to work with.
