First they called and told me it was going to $600 dollars for rotors and brakes. I told them I just wanted my brakes so they told $500 I told them no and that I would come and get my car. I had another family member call and they told him my rotors were fine and that to change the brakes it was gonna be $200. They tried to hassle me and now my check engine light won’t turn off and it was never an issue before. Terrible service

The tire was ruined, and they were able to find a replacement and get it mounted on the rim, within 2 hours, even though all of their work areas were occupied. I had the low tire pressure light come on. They checked the tires and found one had a screw in it. Fixed the tire. The next morning the light was still on so I went back. All tires pressure was fine so recommended I go to the dealership and have the light reset. Were very nice and helpful.

We were traveling from St. Louis to southern Georgia and got a low tire pressure warning about an hour into our trip. We pulled into the plaza tire service and they were able to quickly get our car fixed identifying if there was a piece of metal in the tire. I as getting an indication that I had a faulty tire sensor. Scott advised me that onc a sensor goes out frequently the others follow. I took his suggestion and replaced them all.

Every time I go there, everyone is so kind to me, and they don’t talk down to me because it’s obvious I know nothing about cars. As a longtime customer to Plaza Tire I didn't think there would be a problem going from my usual one in one town to my new one in Benton Illinois and there has not, I have had nothing but good experiences at this point in time to the Benton location, there had found a problem which I knew there was an issue I just did not know what it was, which is how we first got introduced to one another I had a drivers back wheel starting to loosen up which was making the ride in my Jeep Wrangler feel weird I thought a break had broken or started to come loose or it was sticking and rubbing against the wheel but they found out the wheel bolts start to loosen the wheel was wobbling so they not only potentially saved my life they saved my jeep from damage and the regular maintenance that they've been performing since then which that has been a year ago since the wheel incident I have nothing but good things to say at this point in time and hopefully it will continue to stay that way rather it be with this crew or another crew should any of these people leave this location.

My husband dropped his truck off with them at 11:30/11:45ish, to have his tires mounted, and waited all day on them to put tires on his truck! He drove by at 2pm, and the tires were still sitting in the back of his truck where they were when he first arrived! Also, other vehicles who were not there when my husband showed up, were in the bay! They waited until 5pm to tell him that they could not put the tires on his truck because they weren’t a 10 something(I don’t know, I’m not a tire technician) lol! So something that they could have figured out as soon as my husband showed up, they could have looked at it right then and there, and told him they couldn’t work on it, took all day! & Honestly, with them who knows, the reasonings why! Just kinda ridiculous to have to leave your only vehicle somewhere with intentions to be worked on, only for them to take their sweet ass time, and wait till the last second to figure out what the problem was when it could have been taken care of quickly!!

I went to a gas station when my front tire was low on air. They ungraciously helped me and I paid $1.50 to get air in the tire. A few days later when the need arose again, I pulled into Plaza Tire in Benton, IL . I told them I had a tire needing air. They sent, a polite young man out to help. My most recent visit was a self diagnosed need of rotors and brake pads but not knowing if needed on both front and rear. They could have taken advantage of me not knowing but were honest with the condition of the pads and if repairs were needed on the front and rear. Prior to repairing they advised me of what was needed and explained why. They did only what was needed and for that reason I will continue to go to Plaza Tire for the servicing of my car.

I came in with a tire issue, I was losing between 5-10 pounds of air daily so I thought maybe I picked up a nail or something. They said that they couldn't find a nail or a source after checking twice and said they put some kind of sealant inside. Went to Plaza Tires to have Nitrogen installed in tires. Timing was good. However for the second time in a row cares was not taken by technician to clean the grease off of his hands. Fortunately I saw him before entering car and asked that he clean his hands. Last time in to Plaza grease was left on the arm rest. They tried to clean it with solvent but made a bigger mess. Had to take to the dealer for cleaning. A simple thing that was over looked and discovered the two green caps, showing nitrogen had been installed were missing. One regular cap was put back on and the other was missing. Leading me to ask the question was nitrogen actually installed in those two tires? They assured me that they had. Apologies were offered and a coupon was given for dollars off the next purchase at Plaza Tires. These 3 instances were simple and easy to avoid. However the greasy hands seam to be a problem and can cause damage to fabrics and interior parts.

I am giving them a rating of Four Stars instead of Five due to the fact that when I ordered my tires and set up the appointment they made no mention that they could not do an alignment check on my vehicle since it's a dually. Not only that but they couldn't fit it on their lift, so the tires were changed behind the shop. When I inquired about the alignment check a day later, I was told that they couldn't do it there, that I would have to take it to Mt. Vernon, IL. I previously replied to a review regarding service I received at the Benton location. I initially was disappointed that the main reason I took my car in (alignment) could not be completed due to something else needing to be done prior. They had my car all day and when I arrived at 4 PM to pick it up, they were just finishing the oil change and tire rotation and just found they couldn't do the alignment. The manager called me on the following Monday to apologize for not being able to complete the work. I appreciated this contact and scheduled the alignment and other work for the following Friday. I again dropped my car off and it was done by 11:30. AND when I was told the amount they had taken care of the alignment and did not charge me for it. I didn't ask for this nor did I expect it but this is going above and beyond and it is truly appreciated. I have been a customer for years and will continue to be.

That was my primary reason for the appointment. I was initially going to go to another area business for service. The other business recommended that I give Plaza Tire another chance, due to the fact of my tire protection plan and that I never had any outstanding issues with Plaza Tire. I was scheduled for oil change last week at 11 oclock . I was 15 minutes early just to be sure to be on time . I was immediately told it would be 45 minutes late. I sat down and waited . Time went on and on . It got tO be an hour later . I made mention of the time but to no avail. I told them I wanted Wix filter . I doubt if they had One . There is an auto parts store next door . I did not see anyone go get one !!! I was told they did . I think they put too much oil in this car . They gave me a voucher for 25 dollars for being so late . I will not be able tO use it . Only two people working there and they had more work to do than two people could handle. Due to their work load, it was about 25 minutes past my presheduled appointment before work could begin on my vehicle. I understand the delay as both men employed there were doing their best to get their work done. Both of them were very nice to me. Looks like there needs to be a couple more employees hired to handle the work load. I have been purchasing tires at this store ever since it opened for business.

I found that Dan who I had worked with for years was no longer employed at Plaza Tire Benton. I felt comfortable with him and the recommendations he made. I was told by a mechanic that my tires were cupping. He stated I should contact Plaza Tire about replacing them that they should be under warranty. I discussed this with the new manager and he stated the tires still had 60% usage and Plaza Tire would not replace them that I should have an alignment done since the last alignment was 27000 miles ago in 9-2017 when I got bought the tires. He stated Plaza Tire would not pay for the alignment as I did not take the preferred or premium warranty. Which I don't recall being offered a choice. I go to Plaza Tire on a regular basis for oil changes and tire rotations. I am a little surprised that cupping happens overnight and that it wouldn't have been noticed previously. Regarding the alignment, the new manager stated he didn't have a mechanic to do the alignment but hoped to hire one soon. I guess it wasn't the best experience I have had at Plaza Tire Benton but it wasn't the worst and won't prevent me from returning when they are properly and adequately staffed .. .providing I am as comfortable with new personnel as I was with Dan.

Went in for a tire repair had a couple nails in the tire was told it was unfixable which I understood. Then they tried to sell me off-road tires to replace my street tires on my 2 wheel drive truck. My original leak was not bad maybe would loose 10 pounds of air over the period of 2 weeks. Once I leave and get home I notice the tire is low just figured maybe they didn’t inflate it all the way so I filled it back up, then I went and had dinner came out about an hour later to my truck sitting on the rim, the genius that was hired to work on tires at this location I believe his name was Austin obviously never made it past the point of putting the valve back in the valve stem because it was cross threaded and leaking like crazy to the point I replaced it, needless to say I went elsewhere with my business and bought 2 new tires for my truck and will never return to a plaza tire location for any repairs or purchases. I drove my car home after having the work I asked for, and noticed the car shook. When I got home, my wife needed to run an errand and took my car.She also noticed how bad the car shook. She called Plaza Tire and spoke to a Mark about the issue. My wife felt he was not interested in hearing her complaint. When she came home, I decided to check the tightness of the lug nuts on the wheels since I had the tires rotated. I was disappointed to find that two wheels had at least one loose lug but each and one wheel had 4 lug nuts that were ready to fall off! One wheel did have all lug nuts tight, so I guess that is something. I have spent a great deal of money at Plaza Tire over the psst few years, and I seriously don't I will be back after this. I doubt anyone responds to this as well.

Danny and his crew have always been very professional! In this particular instance, this vehicle was going to be used early the following day for a trip to St Louis University Hospital for my brother-in-law’s cancer surgery and needed to be serviced first! Dan put tires on our other vehicle and it was the same way, he did have an assistant Mgr and he didn't have a clue. Dan wants to sell you tires but he wants to sell you the right tires. Had a 9 am appointment for a simple oil change and had dropped of truck the night before so it was there in plenty of time. Went to pick it up at about 10:30 and it wasn't ready. They hadn't even started on it. I sat an waited for it and didn't get out of there until almost 12:30. Very poor service having to wait that long for a simple oil change. On top of that I had a coupon for the oil change for 24.95 and ending up paying close to 40.00. Extra oil I understood but a shop fee that I didn't understand. Not sure if we will ever get oil changes there again.

I got a special which changed oil and rotated tires also you got new wiper blades. I wanted the oil change and tire rotation. I told them I had new wiper blades on there (good ones) asked them not to change just leave mine. Pretty sure they changed them and they are a cheaper grade. Now I am a woman alone on a fixed income and need a honest place to take care of my needs. Not sure this happened here. also my mileage is 22100 miles and they put 25000 on the sticker in the window. The sales people where all very nice. They did call me and told me I could pick my original blades up which I did.

Took my Toyota Tundra here,bought 4 tires (over $1000)the tech tore off one of my tpms sensors(100.00).Then tried to lie, and said he found he found it rolling around in my tire,but since I was watching him through the the window when he did it,that didn't work!!I've had it back over there three times to make the lights go out on the dash,and make the tpms system functional again.All they said was we don't know how to fix it.I called toyota and they said if you have to change a sensor,the truck computer has to be updated which they charge $100.00 to do.I told Plaza tires this,they ignored me and said we don't know how to fix it.What ever happened to when you work on other people's vehicles as a bussiness and YOU BREAK SOMETHING YOU FIX IT.or if you don't know how YOU HAVE IT FIXED,by someone who does.This was Plaza Tire in Benton,Il.nice job guys...
