They consulted with dealer to determine and order Nissan specific part. Kept in communication with me to advise when part was available from dealer and when vehicle would be ready to pick up. Very helpful staff with a friendly and courteous customer service.

It's been less than 24 hours, so I can't say definitively. Still, I like how the car is running, I like how I was treated, and I want to think the NAS guys really know what they're doing. I will have a better sense a month from now. One thing I will say: I feel that I have been ripped off so many times in getting my Swedish Meatball (aka Volvo V50/2006) repaired, especially by the putrid FIeld's VOlvo dealership (do not ever use them!). Of course, as I was told years ago, it's never cheap to fix a Volvo, and most mechanics hate working on them. All in all, I feel that Jimmy quoted me a reasonable price for the work NAS did. I would be inclined to make NAS my permanent auto mechanic people if this recent job works to my satisfaction. I think I speak for millions when I say you want desperately to trust your mechanic because you really have no idea what they did, but more than anything you don't want to face constant hassles with the vehicle you drive. So far, so good.

Exhaust heat shield was corroded, so was removed. Check engine light turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor. Norwood Auto folks told me that exhaust had a leak and suggested I take for warranty repair to save money. Always looking out for their customers! Did not even charge for removing rusty heat shield!

Norwood Auto has been serving both my SUV and truck for 6 years. It is an excellent shop with honest, knowledgeable staff. They take the time to explain the repairs needed and discuss options. Just as important......they stand behind their work. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else!
