I want to thank everyone at North Belt automotive for doing a great job on my car. They were really fast and professional I brought my car into the shop at 4:40pm Friday(the shop closes at 5). They allowed me to wait inside with my toddler son until my ride came, which unfortunately was running late. They called me by 11:30 Saturday evening. Dobbs has failed to provide honest and dependable work on two different occasions. The alternator I replaced last year for nearly $900 went out already. Dobbs also tried to charge me $500 to replace a headlight kit. Luckily, I called around to find that it was actually covered under warranty. I was informed by a Dobbs employee that they had access to information on vehicle recalls, however, failed to look up the information prior to the quote. Similar to most of society, I have a family, career and life that requires a dependable vehicle which Dobbs has failed to provide.

We asked for conventional oil. The man recommended synthetic oil. When we said no, he said we neeeded that oil or our warranty would be void. We agreed. But on the receipt there was a law stating that no one can force you to have that oil. And we called Chevy and they said that the synthetic is recommended but our warranty would be fine if we didn't have it. The agrued with us when we confronted him. He said the paragraph law actually said something different. In the end he argued but charged us for the conventional. After we left we found grease on the upholstery of the car. Black grease on tan. It was on the ceiling. The guy was too big to get in and out of the car and he had to grip the top of the door frame every time. They lost our service and we will never be going back. We were lied too. And my mother felt like she was taken advantage of.

I agree with Gene. In my case I drive a diesel Sprinter, very hard to get good service on to begin with because it is all German. I live in Montana too. I was referred to Westport Autohouse by a friend whose personal experience was very similar to the other review. So I called and made an appointment. The owner - Mike- insisted that because he had to order parts I should plan on leaving it overnight. I told him - Ok but- I had to be finished by 4 PM on Thursday since i had to be in another part of the state for business on Friday. The initial estimate was fine and was accurate to what needed to be done according to my research on the problems and the symptoms. The final bill came in a bit higher but they had completed all the repairs, the van drove smoothly and perfectly for the first time in months !! I am elated. I had been in a Mercedes Benz dealership earlier to get the same things done and they wanted over $2,000 more and most of that was for the wrong stuff anyway. I highly recommend Westport Autohouse and plan to use them every time I need a repair in the future. Tim B.

Amazing customer service! I was given a breakdown of services I would need ..they even offered discounts. They were really honest and answered all of my questions. Also given their opinion on which services I should prioritize since I wasn't able to pay for all of the services that day. 100000% would recommend to everyone. I called to get an appointment for the paint on my Cadillac SRX to get fixed. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude and said she wouldn’t make me an appointment because, “It would cost more than my vehicle was worth”. I was nearly speechless. I definitely would Not recommend.

I took my car in to have work done on the motor they kept the car for over 2 weeks did not fix the problem and messed up the transmission when they pulled the motor .I would never give this place a thought.

The electronic diagnostics machine was too old to work with a 2006 car. This place smells like smoke and is a real dump. Big waste of time and money!

My car engine was heating up after a long road trip. I took my car to Affton. I asked if they would change the oil while fixing my water pump. They stated they don't usually do oil changes, but said they could do it. They did not give me an estimate on the oil change, but I didn't ask for one, because it's just an oil change. They ended up charging me $108.17 for an oil change: $47.50 for 1/2 hour labor, $6.42 for an oil filter, and $54.25 for 5 quarts of oil! Outrageous!

Buyer stay away for new cars and trucks. The new truck we bought looked like it was ready for a good cleaning when it came back from the detail shop. The sales lady need to learn that a charge card cuts off at 100 dollars when filling up a truck. That means we didnt get a full tank of fuel like ford says you should. The owner didnt care so the best thing I can say it buy from any other dealer.
