body repair

I've had 2 cars repaired here, and they did an excellent job both times. I'm posting this because I was looking up their number for my wifes latest mishap. I wouldn't go anyplace else!

Collision repair

Seem like nice honest and personable people. Body work done wasn't too bad. However, don't rely on the owners keeping thier word if you hear "we'll call you tomorrow"! I have never dealt with someone providing me a service that failed to keep thier word as many times as these folks. Furthermore, front and rear bumpers installed and within two or three months, both were showing signs of rust coming through pits in the chrome. Both replaced twice and the same problem. These bumpers were purchased through thier chrome suppliers (Union Auto parts near Chicago) and obviously third rate quality replacement parts and they did not stand behind it. I finally gave up after repeated stops showing the rust progression. My beautiful well maintained GMC now looks terrible. I was even told that the rust had to be the result of something I was doing and they hadn't had any trouble with any other chromed products before...just me. Well, after again being clipped in the front (by another driver), my truck has had another front bumper installed (at a different shop) and after being on the truck more than a year, it looks brand new, as it should! I have a new rear bumper coming (at my expense) and will install myself so that my truck is back to the way it should have looked after the first repair. I find it difficult to believe that a business would argue with a customer and blow them off over a $200.00 bumper! Good luck!! You've been warned. If you deal with these folks, be prepared to put thier number on speed dial, video tape your conversations and take your attorney with you cuz he's a smooth talker.
