I brought my car to the metropolis location over the paducah locations (plural) because of the hospitality and bedside manner of the employees in metropolis (Paducah managers tend to be a bit nasty) . Brad and the guys always treat me well and help me get my vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. The plus is I truly believe that the mechanic's own hand at the metropolis location or the is better than the poduca locations.

I took my car in for a tire repair and they found another problem with the wheel rim. Frank told me where I could have that fixed and even took a picture of the rim to show me.

The team members at the Metropolis Plaza Tire, mentioned the above and beyond. Having a n eight inch spike run through the tread and sidewall, I limped in to their location Being a Saturday morning on a holiday weekend there was no promise or hope of getting repairs/replacement completed prior to Monday. But I left my car there anyway. Now mind you they close at 1 o’clock on Saturdays. I had resigned myself to a quiet weekend at home without a vehicle. At 12:55 my phone rings and I am told that my car is ready to pick up, Being VERY SURPRISED I replied, it would take me five or 10 minutes to walk up to the location. Their reply is don’t please don’t walk will come get you one of their team members showed up a short minute later and gave me a ride up to the store when it came time to settle the bill, I was told that the tire needed to be replaced to be safe. However, I had road hazard and #Warranty, so the bill was around $80 rather than the higher cost of a single new tire. This location is in the Official Home of Superman… and the friendly expeditious service this day went above and beyond SUPER.

Traveling from Florida to Minnesota, spent the night in Peducah, KY. When we left the hotel, the check tire warning light came on. We looked for a tire service, found Plaza Tire, and they had us back on the road in less than an hour. I thought we would be sitting for several hours waiting to have our flat evaluated and fixed. Great, courteous staff. Couldn't be happier!!!

I had a great experience, I was traveling thru Kentucky back to Kansas City and noticed my truck was all over the road. I known my truck needed an alignment but had not a chance to stop to do so. I stopped in the shop and asked for my tires to be rotated and balanced. they were able to work me in so I can continue my trip. Half hour later and I am all done and back on the road. they informed me that getting an alignment would help the life of my tires and steering performance. Thank you for helping a traveler out.

Excellent service by the staff! We were traveling to take my grandson’s car to him at Fort Campbell and the brakes went out in his car. It was also discovered the tires needed replaced. We pulled in at 4:45p on Friday and they did not hesitate to help us. They were able to replace the brakes and tires and have the car back on the road by Saturday before noon. We had a tire leaking since we had purchased the vehicle but dealerships had said nothing wrong. We brought the Kia in and they found it immediately and showed us. We had 44000 miles on the vehicle decided to change all the tires and get an alignment. The price for the alignment was $89. verses Kia dealership of $149. Bad thing, talked to the manager and the reply to the question "how was it" was "Must not have been bad he got done with it real fast" So, no printout!! that is customary in a "good" shop and I do not know anything since my question was not answered. I let them know .. but it was a couple weeks before I could get back over there. When I did... they said had another leak but nothing was in the tire. This store is so much better than all the Paducah stores. The manager Jo, is polite and courteous. The manager at the Paducah store is rude. I bought over $1000 worth of new tires from Plaza. Metropolis store put them on. I had a nail in my tire in Paducah. The manager at the Lone Oak store told me not to drive on it, but refused to fix it for me. Asked if I wanted him to call the Metropolis store and I said yes. Metropolis said come on and they will fix it. Paducah said go to Metropolis. I asked "thought you said not to drive on it". No response. This is why even though I live in Paducah, I go to the Metropolis store. The Metropolis store is the only one to use.

I have hated my car since buying it. The test drive was on freshly paved asphalt streets around the dealership. After purchase I discovered it rides so rough it actually inflicts pain. Apparently the space I parked at in the parking lot was a no parking space, as I went inside the building an employee came out to ask me to move my car. There were no obvious signs stating this, he was polite in asking and i did see small signs after i moved my car though. Waiting area and bathroom are not especially clean, not as terrible as some places though. I've never gone into Plaza Tire in Metropolis and the employees actually acted like they know what they were doing, if I wasn't desperate I wouldn't have gone there at all. This last time I was in they managed to lose the cap to my windshield washer fluid and not tell me apparently. I noticed a week later when I went to add more.

I took my truck in due to a vibration. The plan was a rotate, and balance, and see what was found. They never pulled the truck in, and said the tires were bad. I have to agree, one was pretty bad. I could not afford a new set at the time, and found a used set elsewhere. When mounting the tires we discovered 2 bad rims. Plaza did not charge me to tell me my tired were bad. However if they had checked them, It would have saved me time, and money knowing the vibration was caused by the rims, and not the tires. I know they thought they were saving me some money, and I appreciate that. However I do wish they did as I asked, and found the cause of the vibration in the first place. I will still use Plaza for my tire needs.

Went in with flat tire. Ask to make a appointment for tires to be rotated and oil change. They was able to do it all right then. No need to return for appointment. Work was done and back on the road in less then a hour. Chuck and Nick was very friendly and helpful

I had a low tire and came in to have air (nitrogen) put in. There was a young man working VERY HARD and efficiently. I want to point out that he told me he would take the tire off and check and fix it if he was able too. He became very busy and was able to manage the people coming in. This was not an easy task especially when there were two other people working on another vehicle (or should I say mostly doing nothing) who never offered him assistance. I did have to wait longer than he had planned because of other people coming in and needing assistance. In my opinion he went above and beyond to meet everyone needs while the other employees offered no assistance what so ever. I will definitely continue to do business with Plaza Tire Service in Metropolis. I do hope the young man who was working so hard gets recognized for his dedication and awesome customer service.

The service at this place is excellent. HOWEVER: I resent the ad you had on the internet. You showed a block that offered a discount on an oil change. So I went in and git an oil change. But I sure didn't get the discounted price. Because I didn't have the COUPON ! What coupon. The manager told me that the ad contained a coupon which could be printed out and brought to the oil change. I went home and took another look at my computer, and sure enough there were a few very tiny letters at the bottom of the block which might have been an announcement re a coupon. The pocket change involved in the oil change scam is insignificant, but i consider it to be very sharp business, sharp meaning crafty. I will no longer be downloading your future ads.
