Corvette Restoration
Stretch (Bob Zimmerman) Amazing kind person. Can fix anything. Restoring a 63-67 Corvette, his specialty, or a daily driver. I've known him for since the mid-70's when he worked with Richard Buxbaum. Classic Motors (corvettes) in Hinsdale. Best mechanic on the planet!!

Helped me rebuild two Vettes and serviced my family cars too.
Bob Zimmerman/ aka "Stretch" has been a mechanic for over 35 years. He is a Corvette guru. Most of his long term projects are Corvettes. From '55 to '63 Split he know it all. I bought a '77 years back and we did a restore that was great. I bought a '98 more recent and again he helped tweak that so much that I won 22 trophies in car shows around Chicago in 2012 including some Best in Show. He does a lot of work on late model cars.....you name it he know it. He is so smart when it cars. Waking computer with the nicest attitude. He is one gem and too bad all auto shops are not like Bob. Dealerships are out to screw you and get your hard money. Bob will look for the most economical fix to save his customers money and is why he has an almost cult following.
