I don't know why I chose Schaumburg Automedics to service my car when I first moved to Chicago 20+ years ago, but I am really glad I did. They have kept my various old cars running much longer than I would have expected. I was thinking about junking my car after this last service, but the SA Team did such a fantastic job the car drives better than when it was new (to me). I had several idiot lights on my dash and thought I had no ABS of VSA because the lights were on. The guys working on something else noticed some frayed wires along the firewall from some rodent or something. Now ALL the dashboard lights are off. They also fixed some extra things I didn't ask for and didn't notice till I got home. AAA Stands for quality service. AAA never hung a sign on a shop as good as Schaumburg Automedics. I was so lucky to have brought my car for service on Monday. I have had so many bad mechanics try to fix my car but Velasquez and Darwin FINALLY got to the root of the problem and fixed my check engine light that was on for months. Other mechanics claimed they fixed the check engine light problem but the didn't. It is NOT easy finding a good, honest mechanic these days. I know I finally found one and can confidentially bring my cars to Velasquez in the future. Darwin also changed the gaskets. I had paid a mechanic to change them a few months ago but apparently didn't. I actually paid to have the purge valve and gaskets changed but they never were. Darwin even showed me the defective parts. Thank you Darwin and Velasquez mechanic shop. Brian 2-9-22

KS Autocare performed a detailed inspection of my car, during which it was discovered there were multiple problems. While my car was on the lift, KS showed me precisely what was wrong and what steps they were going to take to fix those problems, as well as providing a detailed estimate of cost and time involved for the entire repair. KS divided the repairs into two components: those that were urgent and needed to be done soon and those that could be put off for a while. I chose to do all of the repairs at one time. KS Autocare completed the repairs on schedule and on budget, exactly as promised. All KS Autocare personnel were professional and courteous and performed their jobs well. I highly recommend KS Autocare for your vehicle needs.

I was pretty excited about Wrench. They came to me and did a diagnosis on my vehicle. Said they would need to order parts and reschedule an appointment. I was excited that the $75 diagnosis feee would go toward my repairs. They returned for the second appointment and the parts ordered weren't the correct parts. I never heard from them again... I had to pay another mechanic another diagnosis fee. I was pretty bummed. ? I think this service would be great for simple things, Oil change, etc. but if parts need to be ordered, I'd suggest a brick and mortar. Ryan S.
