Saturn Outlook Transmission problem

My Saturn Outlook started to have transmission problem since a few days before. I first contacted AMMCO and left my car for the diagnostics. The repair will cost me $3400~$3600. Then I did some web search and talked the Guaranteed Transmission Service. The gentleman (John) there was not only very knowledgeable on this subject, by also provided me with very important information that the transmission might be covered by GM's extended warranty (There were a lot of complains on this transmission). He helped me checked the VIN and symptoms and recommended me to contact a GM service dealer. If this transmission problem is covered by GM, then I won't pay a dime and the Guaranteed Transmission Service won't make any money. But I do appreciate the help and the honesty. I think this shop is worth trusting and this spirit is essential to a sustainable business. Yong
