Ask before I bought tires from these guys can you do this without scratching up my wheels their reply was yes no problem. Well guess what they ruined one of my wheels didn’t reset my tire monitors when I asked them what they would do about my wheel they said they would fix it by replacing or repairing. Been back twice with the same runaround and still hasn’t called me or done anything. Guess it will end up in court to solve the issue. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone. Went in for engine/oil filter change and tire rotation. They inspected the vehicle and found that I also needed an engine air filter and cabin filter, and that my rear brake pads were in need of replacement and the brake fluid changed. They performed the engine oil/filter change, rotated the tires and I replace the engine air and cabin air filters myself, and scheduled to have the rear brake pads replaced and brake fluid replace a couple of weeks later. They were efficient, courteous and not push, just provided me with the information I needed to keep my car running efficiently and safely. Thanks guys, will see you in a couple of weeks to have the brake pads replaced.

Brought in my Mini Countryman with a slow leak in one of the tires. I had purchased the tires at Plaza a few before and bought the $10/tire warranty covering damage from debris like nails, screws, etc. Anyway, after an hour of searching the tech found a half inch long fish hook that had worked its way into a tread just enough to cause the leak. Cost? $0. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been going to Plaza for years.

But I had to return a few days later to get the front tires rebalanced because they were not done correctly and had some vibration. Tire readings were not reset on control panel and the pressure might not have been check. Got up the next morning and my pressure on one tire was 24. I stopped by where I had purchased the tires and wheels and all the pressures were low. Also, I have very expensive black wheels and you put silver weights on them where everyone could see them. Custom Automotive in Calvert City Ky is where I purchased my tires and wheels, and when they saw that they were very upset. It made the wheels look bad. They were kind enough to take the silver weights off and replace them with black and out of sight. I won't you rotate or balance my tires again. Just take not, Custom Automotive send a lot of business to you to a line the front end. I would hate for you to loss that business because of this. Thanks Nan Donohoo

I was leaving the next day on a 5 hour trip. 3 hours into my trip my tire light came on. I found a tire place and they had to add air to all 4 tires on My car. This is totally unacceptable since the day before I had my tires rotated and balanced. I do not think they added the correct air to my tires. This is totally unacceptable!!

Tire pressures were not even close in the tires. We assumed that the tires would be aligned with them being put on for the first time and we were wrong. The person who quoted the price to me said we would receive some discount because our previous tires had less than miles than was rated and we did not receive that discount.

Everyone was cordial and pleasant to talk to. The mechanics were very efficient and I felt comfortable driving after they changed the oil. Ty so much.

Noticed a lack of communication. I told the clerk I wanted the best tire back and that wasn’t relayed to the technician. Then I was charged a disposal fee on the tires. Issues was corrected finally.

I bought tires from them just over a year ago. Put 25,000 miles on these tires and I have had them rotated every single time I go in for an oil change. They always call me and try getting me to let them do extra stuff to my car but this time they pushed way too far and I will never go back. They asked me 3 different times to let them change my tires, which were going to cost $700. I told them 3 times that I had to speak to my husband. They refused to take that for an answer and even handed me off to the manager, he proceeded to try scaring me into letting them change the tires by telling me I would end up in a ditch if I didn’t let them do it. I took my husband in with me to pick up the car because I wanted him to see if the tires really needed changed, which they didn’t and they didn’t say a word to him about the tire change. Pretty low for a man to try manipulating & scaring you into letting them make money on something that doesn’t even need fixed simply because you’re a woman and they think they can take advantage.

A low tire pressure light came on while on my way through town, and Plaza Tire was on my route. Had a flat tire. I'd just bought these tires 4 months ago. Evidently, I ran over something that damaged the sidewall - no patching it .I'd paid for the protection plan when I bought the tires. The guys at Plaza tire in Benton KY had me squared away with a new tire in about 20 minutes. Tire was covered so I only had to pay about $35 for labor, balancing, old tire disposal. Couldn't have been treated better by these guys.

The man at the desk was not very helpful and a bit rude. I asked to have my oil changed, tires rotated, and brakes checked. When I asked if they rotated the tires he said I already talked to you about that, when I asked about my brakes he just said sure. I'm still not sure if they checked them. I dropped my van off at 9am it wasn't ready until after 4:00pm. I've been coming their for years and never had any problems until recently, the person who used to always work the front isn't there anymore and he was always great I believe his name was Stanley. Vehicle was brought in for a puncture repair and tire rotation. When the car was returned to me the puncture was fixed, but the rotation didn't happen. Luckily it was noticed prior to leaving their lot. They then did the rotation quickly. When I got the vehicle home I found that the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) had not been "re-learned" properly and I had to bring it back to their business so it could be redone (30 mile trip).

I had a crazy experience at Plaza Tire. I called on a Friday and was told they had no openings until Monday at 3 PM. I stated that I would just bring my vehicle and drop off Monday morning, which I did. It was very obvious that the guy at the front desk was very disorganized in his thoughts and documentation. They did appear to be busy, but I had a feeling that I would either not get the service I asked for or something would go wrong. I asked when they closed and he said 5:30 PM, but would call me once it was done. I did not receive a call so I called at 4:45 PM. He stated it was not done and to arrive at 5:30 PM. He said they would be staying open later due to his manager going home and leaving the front desk to him and it just being so busy. He asked again what service I had requested and had all the information wrong (which is what I had suspected). I reminded him of our conversation this morning. He said I may have to wait a little while, but not long at 5:30 PM. I asked if he could call me as I was still working and someone was bringing me to get my vehicle. I never heard back so went to the store at 5:45. My car had not even been moved. He went out to ask the guys in the shop. He and one of the shop guys got into a yelling and cursing match (using GD and F--which is so unprofessional and uncalled for). They were screaming and yelling profanities at one another with their arms flailing and hands in one another's face. I really expected it to become physical at any moment. My ride and I were both standing inside watching and listening to this. The front desk guy (I think Aaron was his name) came back and I said I will go somewhere else. He stated that he could do it as he had 16 years experience and would do my oil change for free. They were supposed to replace my back two tires and change my oil. I was honestly nervous about him doing it since he appeared to be unstable. I agreed. He said that he would have it done in 15 minutes, which I found odd since my car had been there nine hours and never moved from the parking spot just outside the shop. He then received a phone call (which appeared to be from a manager). He talked on the phone while I was waiting explaining how this was not his fault, etc. I waited in the vehicle in the parking lot with my ride and we observed another yelling, match with profanities (again GD and F). Again, it appeared that it would end up physical. I just knew one was going to knock the other one out with a tool or their hands. You could hear tools landing on the ground. I could not tell if they were being thrown at one another or just on the ground. In the end, I had two new tires and my oil changed; however, I will not go back to Plaza Tire again. I would have given one star, but because I was given a free oil change I gave a two. It was not a pleasant or professional experience at all!

Tires rotated, brake pads inspected at my request. The technician(tall slim guy with beard and arm tattoos) said I needed pads which I do. He said it would take about 30 minutes total time(whelks already off car) with a cost of $390.00. Since the total parts cost of the brake pads I later purchased was $62 including tax I can only conclude the price for labor as he quoted was $660 per hour. I’m assuming he thought that I, a middle age woman, rode in on a load of pumpkins. My husband, different last name, called in later for for same vehicle and was quoted $300. We have been customers of the Benton store for a number of years, multiple work and tires purchased for 4 vehicles. I’ve always liked Plaza tire but I can no longer trust them to have my interests at heart.

I was really disappointed. My tire quote was $583. When I picked up my car my bill was $833. $149 for a wheel allinement? Really? I always paid $50 anywhere else. They never told me or asked me about putting nitrogen in my tires and then charged me for it. I did get an oil change and they didn't even vacuum out my car or turn off my oil change required light in my car. There were alot of charges that were not discussed with me at all. I told the guy who checked me out I was a bit concerned about the technicians being in and out of my car with no gloves on. He said we have had no problems so far. He said the technicians are only getting paid half their pay and they cannot afford gloves. During this time with the virus still very active, If the technicians cannot afford gloves, which seems ridiculous they would have to purchase their own., the management needs to be buying hand sanitizer gloves and mask as most other businesses are doing. I have been so pleased with the honest work that I have seen by the employees of Plaza Tire in Benton, KY. Once again they didn't try to take advantage of me (female age 78). Also they didn't try to replace an item when I mentioned that another shop had told me that my car needed new drive belts. (He even showed me how new the present drive belts looked!) In this day and age, honesty in the work place seems to be a forgotten thing. It's usually just "rip the customer off; they're stupid anyway." I will be very happy to recommend the work of Plaza Tire and its employees.

So, I carved out half a day in my busy schedule, drove a car with a transmission issue 25 miles for this appointment, where they were not prepared, didn't know it had a dipstick, and couldn't do the transmission flush in the end due to lack of supplies. I was standing at the desk for at least ten minutes before anyone even asked if I needed help. Thank god I had already chosen the tires that I wanted on line the night before which were 175.00 each. Bringing the total after taxes and fees to over 750.00. I would think that someone spending this kind of money would at least earn some kindness and respect but not at plaza tire. After telling the guy what tires I wanted and getting my appt set up for later that day I asked if they done alignments. The guy replied yea but I’ve already made ur ticket out so u will just have to come back another time and we will do that. What tire store sells tires and does alignments but doesn’t recommend both when u change all four tires at the same time? I was to say the least not impressed w plaza tires and next time I need tires it WILL NOT b with them. I happily took my car elsewhere and had the alignment done and they were happy to serve me. So thumbs down to plaza tire they suck and I will never return to them not even for my free rotation. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I give them less than one star. Had an appointment to get oil changed at 1030am and car was not finished until 1230pm. Gentleman at the counter was also rude to another lady who came in. She came in and told him that her service engine light was still on and asked if that meant anything to him. He just said No, and looked at her as if she was dumb and she walked out. I had received a birthday card in the mail. I used it when I went and had my service done. I purchased the better conventional oil change which was $42.95 that included 5qts. of oil, lube, filter and top off under hood fluids. I asked them if they would check my front wheel bearing on the right side. The tech drove my van and said the bearing was making some noise and it would be just over $500.00 to replace the bearing I told him I would have to wait. I got in my van and left the lot to find my washer fluid light flashing still so no fluids were filled under the hood as stated on the invoice. That makes me wonder if my oil was even changed. I drove about 5 miles down the road and had the bearing replaced for $264.61, but I am so proud they gave me a good one for my birthday oh yes I still had to give them $22.21 thanks for the birthday wishes.

I took my '05 Scion xA to Plaza Tire in Benton, KY, to have the tires rotated, since I had bought the tires there. I also asked them to replace the drive assembly belts, since I had been told that the belts were worn and cracked. When Stanley inspected the belts, he had me to look at them also and told me that the belts were almost brand new. After checking them myself, I agreed with his find. Thanks to his honesty, I was able to save several dollars. I am a female senior citizen (age 78), and every dollar counts. I have done business several times with Plaza Tire, and I have always found them to be timely, cooperative, friendly, and courteous. I think now that I will add "honest" to this list. I can also add Michael's name.
