They did my vehicle inspection. Got me going

I took my car to advance auto because my car was in limp mode. Codes read I had #2 & #3 cylinders misfiring and crankshaft position senser bad. I replaced plugs and senser, but car still in limp mode. They said the codes needed reset. I then took it to midas, explained codes, repair and stated codes needed reset. Midas claimed I had wrong spark plugs and had several misfires. I explained, again, I replaced parts and need codes reset. Mechanic argued with me that it needed $1,500 in repairs. I said no thank you to the $1,500 repair and was charged $139 for the knowledge I already possessed. I limped my car to the next repair shop. Within 15 mins the mechanic cleared the codes, reluctantly charged me $40 and sent me on my way. My car has run perfectly since codes cleared a few weeks ago. I feel Midas tried to swindle me out of $1,500 for work I already performed. I am very unpleased with the encounter i had with Midas. In addition to sharing my experience word of mouth in my community and advertise with a big window decal , i plan to report Midas to the better business bureau, as well as, reach as many people as possible across all available social media platforms. Needless to say, I will not return to Midas. I would strongly not recommend Midas in Bowling Green Kentucky to anyone in need of auto repair. As a single parent of two, times are too hard to be getting ripped off. Unfortunately, zero rating star is not available, so I was forced to give Midas a 1 star review.

I took my car to have some work done and all the work was not completed even though I was charged ... I had to take it back to get my ac recharged even though I had all ready paid for it ... I don’t even think my oil was changed even though I paid for it when I talked to the manager he never apologized or anything said they just forgot to put the tag on for the oil change also said that the reason my air wasn’t working was because all the stuff had leaked out overnight ( I watched them recharge when I took it back in and my air is till working ) I’m seriously thinking about calling the better business bureau because I was charged for work that wasn’t completed for sure it’ll be the last time I take my car to Midas on the By-Pass in bowling green
