I cannot speak high enough of the service we have received from Eric...we have been there twice in recent years and both times the service was great and the price was affordable. Eric would not fix anything without speaking to me. Unfortunately recently we had a car that our daughter drove with little oil, Eric was very honest and recommended that we not put even one cent into repair. During another repair the price was considerably cheaper then another mechanic. I cannot speak of all the mechanics but can highly recommend Eric at Hines and Sons.

Auto service
There are many crooked and horrible mechanics in Louisville, but this one is by far the very worst. I had a cheap car that I towed there and told them to estimate the damages, clearly telling them twice that if it was over 300 dollars I would be better off getting another car at the auction I worked at, willing to pay them for the estimate. Well, they kept it for a week before answering, then said I owed them 1500 dollars, saying they fixed it, but then I went to pick it up, and it wasn't there. The son was driving it all day for some reason. He kept it another week, and I should have just junked it, but I was in dire straits, and borrowed the money. Meanwhile, it cost me a job that paid lots of money, a sure job. These people fixed nothing, because it broke down for good a week later. These people are the worst. Never take your car there.
