We got a flat tire from a bolt we hit when in Mayfield KY, which is about 25 miles from home. We were able to change the tire, but did not think the donut tire would make it home. We stopped at Plaza tire in Mayfield KY, and they had a replacement tire for us, and put it on the car in about an hour. We were both impressed with their service. The crew seemed to do a good job overall with the service. The front desk folks were not friendly or professional at times with other customers. The lady in front of me asked a couple of questions and the staff member was trying to hurry her along and not actually listening to what she was saying. Luckily I didn't have that issue or I would have said something to the staff member. The oil change, tire rotation, and brake pad service was completed in a timely manner. When I left Plaza (PTS), I heard a loud bang/pop as I was backing out. I had a service professional come out and look to see if they'd missed something or something was wrong. They took a quick look, but because the sound couldn't be replicated at that moment (we tried), "there was nothing they could do." Around one week later, the transmission on my vehicle went out as I was driving down the road ... requiring a full replacement/rebuild. It's still in the shop While I'm NOT blaming that on PTS at all (there is no proof whatsoever), the timing of such "bang/pop" only for my transmission to go out a few days later seems a little fishy to me. I wonder if someone drained and replaced the transmission fluid mistakenly, which is usually a no-no in transmissions on older vehicles over 100k miles. For now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I am completing this review later than normal. The breaks and rotors were replaced. I had to come back 4 times due to engine light kept coming on. I went on a road trip to Alabama, hence why my car got serviced. I informed the staff that I heard and felt vibration in the front tires, they were balanced. I came back due to the check engine light again and asked for my tires to be balanced again. But was informed that they were balanced last week. During my drive something came loose and I had a horrible noise, of grinding metal on metal. I then had to find a place to get car fixed. I went to Firestone, they asked if I had my brakes recently serviced. I told them what all had been replaced. I found out that I was missing a caliper bolt. I am not happy about this.

I waited an hour and 35 minutes. they pulled my car out, I stepped up to pay and the young man said its gonna be a wait on alignment. This would have easily been 4 or 5 stars if the lobby/showroom area wasn't so filthy and taken care of. The guys were polite, service was pretty good, the amount of time it took them to get my tires changed and alignment done was excellent. The bathroom was gross and needs serious TLC. Above the office, the ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Its more than likely from a roof leak or pipe leak, but the tiles are so stained it looks like someone urinated on them. Floor around where the stacks of tires are needs to be cleaned as well...I understand that it isn't easy to move stacks of 4 on a regular basis, but when you pull a stack out of the showroom at least take the time to clean where they were. Just my 2 cents!!!

I was told that I needed service for issues that I wasn't experiencing with my car. I was charged for an alignment when I didnt need one. I was charged for a sensor that was fine when I brought my vehicle in. I was told that these items would be checked but I was never informed as to whether or not they needed to be fixed until after they had supposedly been fixed and billed. The environment wasn't inviting nor friendly, everyone seemed like they didn't really want to be there, as if they don't really like their jobs. Nothing is really explained in detail, they basically just read off the specs that are posted on the tire by the manufacturer. Customers can do that themselves. When it comes to tires they only have in stock cheap tires and top of the line tires. The midrange ones are not kept in stock. Basically, noone wants the cheap crap so they'll have to go with the more expensive option. This place is definitely geared to driving up the cost to the customer. It's all about what they can sell someone vs what is actually needed or required for the vehicle's maintenance. I left feeling ripped off and taken advantage of. I will never use this location again, but will try the other locations in my area that are a bit further of a drive.

I had an appointment at 9 in the morning and I didn't get into the bay until a little after 10. And what's really bad is a customer came in with no appointment and was put in in front of me and two other customers. So I have to ask what is the purpose of making an appointment almost a week out and still having to wait an hour just to get in and have your tires rotated and balanced.

As usual, Plaza Tire, Mayfield, KY made my servicing needs very easy. I needed my routine maintenance, LOF, tire rotation, etc. I stopped in, and was done, and on my way inside of an hour. I used to take my truck to the dealership where I purchased it new a couple of years ago, BUT, even with an appointment, it would take sometimes 2 hrs, or so. Not to mention, all of the upselling they try to push down your throat. I take really good care of my truck (air cleaner, windshield wipers, and cabin filters replaced either when needed, or at least on the factory 'recommendation'), yet it seemed like they were always telling me 1 of the 3 needed replaced. I'm done with that. I feel confident that if my Plaza Tire technician recommended something, I am not being upsold, just to make a sale, I 'm sure it is required!

After having a tire repaired under road hazard warranty, techs failed to reset the low tire warning light on the vehicle computer. Had to turn around and go back to PT and wait while a tech was contacted for the reset. The guy that did the reset acted like he was really aggravated that he had to bother with it. I checked the tire pressures on the vehicle computer after the vehicle service, tire pressures were all over the place. One would think after oil change, tire rotation, the tires would have close to the same pressure, not this time ! Many of the employee's act as though they hate their jobs, but there are a couple of good ones. Its is almost to the point I am not trusting them to do my work.

The person who changed my tires left grease all over my vehicle inside on my console my steering wheel my carpet. I had called and spoken with Donny about this happening to my vehicle the last time that I has tires put on there. There was an oil change sticker on my wind shield I did not authorize a oil change I have my vehicle serviced at the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from for the entire time I own the vehicle and request a certain oil. I paid 70.00 for a wheel alignment and I am now having to take my Yukon to someone else because it is pulling really bad. just had the roters and struts changed in Aug so its not that. They left my keys in my unlocked vehicle in the parking lot in which they could not see from inside. To me that was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. SO I WOULD GIVE THEM A -12 IF THERE WERE SUCH A SCALE

Since most of the tire shops were closed due to the virus I didn't know what to do. I will never return there. Not after all their cons. Dishonesty. And even rudeness because the employee came back with 3rd degree sunburn from vacation. He should have stayed home, instead of taking it out on the customers. And this last visit, not honoring the warranty on my tires. Original purchase was told 55,000 miles, lifetime rotation and lifetime alignment. Said I was wrong about alignment and charged me. Every other month needs new tire, another $20. Only 40,000 on tires, will not honor warranty. One month changed a 2 month old tire and told me after the fact when it was timE to pay. Not even sure they did indeed install a new tire every couple months. Not they will not honor warranty with on 40,000 on the last 2 original tires on the left side of vehicle. They are always full of excuses, and will not give you your discount unless you remember to ask for it. And at no time was ever informed alignment had to be done every 12,000 miles. Enough! Never again!

The front counter lacked the professionalism of making a customer feel appreciated. If I wasn't desperate for an oil change I would have walked out. Shouting "what's your number" across the sale floor to a potentially new customer walking through the door is most unprofessional and is missing basic human respect. Teach your people how to succeed in simple public relations performance.... We have many choices and this one time event provides little encouragement to come back again.

Had just bought another truck, went in for new tires, they discovered right front wheel bearing was bad, plus brake pads worn down, had a complete break system done excluding the calipers, they were working fine. About 500 miles later the right front caliper started freezing up. Went back had breaks checked again and they confirmed the right front was freezing up and said I needed new calipers on front. At that point they had not even checked the left front. I guess they just assumed if you replace one you replace both. I suggested that they inspect them thoroughly which they did. Then they found it was only the right front. They replaced the right front caliper and the new pads again, pads was still under warranty. They did a good job, all is well and I saved over $100 plus dollars by not replacing the left caliper. Normally I have always done all my own mechanic work but now have retired, plus I do not enjoy doing it any more.

Love the tires, but now have chips in the paint on 3 or 4 rims. Rims were in perfect condition before getting the new tires. Plaza Tire informed me I needed a front end alignment. My old tires wore evenly and my truck drove straight. Them being the professionals, I trusted it needed to be done. Now my truck pulls to the left towards oncoming traffic. When I got home, I checked the tire pressures in the new tires. They were 37, 27, 25, and 25. I had to reset the air pressure to the recommended door sticker of 29 on all the tires. Lastly, I had to re-torque all the lugs nuts to 83 ft lbs. I appreciate Plaza Tire not wanting any of my tires to fall off, but every lug nut was well over 83 ft lbs. I have 5 other vehicles. I do not plan on returning to Plaza Tire.

Donnie and his crew at Plaza Tire in Mayfield did an excellent job during my visit for new tires on my vehicle. They reported to me that my rear brakes were almost completely worn and asked about replacing them. They also noticed the front right tire was worn strangely and asked me if they wanted me to check the alignment. I knew that when I left my car was going to be in a condition to safely transport my new granddaughter in a vehicle that was properly serviced and maintained. Though I was not expecting the additional expenses, I know that Donnie and his crew were not taking advantage of me and they showed me the tire and brakes before proceeding. I watched Donnie at work for over an hour trying to assist costumers and even a stranded motorist from Georgia. Home of the 1 hour change my butt. I bought a new set of tires waited 3 hours and then had to return to replace one of the tires that they wernt able to balance out . we'll adter waiting another 3 hours waiting for the ome tire to be changed I drove it and realized they disnt fix the issue. Ive fiven up on plaza tire due to the way this place is ran. They need to make apoointments and stick to them not matter what. I also applied for a credit card and was approved and bought a set of wheels along with the tires. With purchases like this id say you should get even better services. Nobody wants to wait this long for any kind of services. Buy 3 get 1 free is due to the fact that 1 of those tires might be defective. I still habe a bad one on the rear of my truck that makes it shake at 60 mph. Under staffed. Also I tried to let the Manager know that id come to work as I am a certified tech and told him id start for 13.50 per hour on a business card. The day I showed up to het the bad tire changed I asked the assistant manager about getting a job. He said at what i was asking for per hour that all the other emoloyees6 would have a fit. We good to know that my info was kept private between the manager and I. Seems like Drama to me. Oh well, a good crew reflects the management.

The quick change artist... waiting over an hour and a half for my vehicle to even be pulled into a bay. Too busy taking on large mechanical jobs rather than changing oil and tires. Was in store over two hours. When I got to my vehicle the seat was filthing from the worker not placing anything down over it, which has stained the side of my seat aswell as they didnt even reset my oil service light or adjust tire pressure with my oil change and tire rotation. I purchased my tires there and always have had my vehicle serviced at this location. Sadly I will probably start doing business elsewhere.

We were told our car would be complete in a hour to an hour and a half because we needed it back and they assured us for certain it would be ....5 hours later our car still wasn't complete. We had to return the next day and left the car again for the work that was supposed to be completed the day before. Returned at several hours later to be sure and give them plenty of time and the car still wasn't complete. They had a problem with a bolt and rather then calling me to see what I wanted to do they waited till we came to pick it up expecting that the car would be ready to go. Had to once again leave the car. After 5 trips to town and 2 wasted days we finally got our car back with the completed maintenance that was promised to be done in hour or 2 the first time. I understand some times things don not go as planned however you should not promise a time unless you are 10000 percent certain you can fulfill your promise. A phone call the second day would have been a great courtesy when they needed my input instead of waiting for me to arrive thinking my car was complete only to find out it was not. They don't seem to have a problem calling you when they are trying to sell you air filters or wiper blades.

The intentions were to have two cars worked on. I had called ahead the day before to schedule because I knew Saturday is a shortened day. Upon arrival both cars were discussed but in the end only 1 car was completed. The 2nd vehicle was lost in the hectic day. The better oil change for the 2nd car was performed on the 1st car. The 2nd car was not scheduled and other cars were scheduled filling the day. The 2nd car was in for an oil change, tire rotation and brake review. None of this was done. That was a tough job 'cause they said it was so rusted it took 3 of them to break it loose! I've always taken my vehicles for tire service. For at one time your store was the only one that could service tires on my truck so I have stuck with you guys for that reason and the staff is awesome especially Donnie he has great knowledge and goes out of his way to make sure you are getting great service and at reasonable prices.

My appointment time was at 9:30am. I arrived and asked Donnie Whited how long it would take to complete an oil change and check the tires. He said 45 minutes to an hour. At 10:30am I called to check the status and was told that my car had not been started due issues with another car. I was told to check back in an hour. I called at 11:30am and was told that my car still had not been started. I asked for a call when my car was finished. I never received a call. I went to Plaza Tire at 12:30pm and my car was in the bay with the hood up. At the time of my arrival, the tires still had not been check. I left at 12:50pm. I will not return. Donnie was rude and never apologized for his poor customer service.

I brought the car in and purchased a full set of tires for my son's car. They were the cheaper set quoted. Also got an alignment done. The next day when the car was driven on the interstate there was a vibration while going down the road and it was pulling to the right. I had my sone take the car back to them. They tell him that because we purchased the cheaper set of tires there would be vibration when going down the road. Well, I find it hard to believe that they would even sell a set tires that would do that. Asked them to rebalance them and they said it would not make any difference. They checked the alignment and showed my son a printed diagram of how much the alignment was off, at that time they didn't realize that they had already done a "premium alignment " and wanted to charge him again for it. So, by them showing him the print out and saying how bad the car was out of alignment, tells me that they either didn't do the alignment or whoever did it didn't know what they were doing. It is scheduled to be realigned on Monday. I'm VERY UNHAPPY with this situation and I will NOT go back to them for any kind of service!

I would like to address a big concern that occurred on Saturday June 9. I always go to Plaza Tire on Hinkleville Road in Paducah. I made an appointment early in the week for Saturday at 10:00. I got to the store around 9:50. I got checked in and had a seat. There were several walk ins that had tire/wheel problems. Problem#1. I looked out 45 minutes later and saw my jeep in same place I parked it. I asked if it was ready. I was told no, that a bay was being occupied. --I was not informed of any delay. I had called on Friday to confirm appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Problem #2. On my previous service, I was told I needed a new radiator and something else, $1800 of work. I had it checked out at dealership. There was no Problem with Jeep. ---I realise the walk ins with tire/wheel problems would make the store more money, but I feel I was not treated as "long time" customer. It makes me want to go elsewhere for my oil changes AND tire purchases!! I expect this problem to be corrected. I did a walk in at Mayfield store and was told they could do the oil change and tire rotation but it would be a little while to get to me. I said no problem and waited and was in and out in 70 minutes. The staff was very nice. Libby Bobo

My Daughter and I arrived on Saturday @ 7:25 am I needed 4 new tires, alignment & oil change on my Pacifica and my daughter needed the same on her Nissan Sentra. Store hours for Saturdays are 7:30 - 1:00. It was 12:15 and they still needed to do an alignment on my Pacifica, I decided I would wait on the alignment but paid for it that day. I returned later the following week I was told it would be 2 hours before they could get to it. I waited 2 1/2 hours and asked how much longer and was told once again they would get to it as soon as a technician finished the vehicle he was working. Two more cars were pulled into the bays after that and work began on them. I decided I waited long enough and give them enough opportunity to complete the job. So I asked for a refund. Needless to say I was not a completely satisfied customer.

We went into Plaza Tire of Mayfield to have a tire repaired. We were waited on promptly. They were very very busy, people were everywhere. The man told us that it would be a couple of hours before he could work on it, we said ok that we had some errands and we would leave the tire come back. We were gone for at least two hours we came back and they still did not have the tire fixed. We left again in came in another hour and it was fixed. We were very pleased with the service. I would say that they need more help at that store because all of people that were working there were very busy working on something the whole time we were there.
