I have had 2 bills with them for $1500 and $1800 over the last year. I know most of the guys there and they seemed to be honest with me. I think their charges are a little high though.They were a little slow on service, but they are improving. They probably have hired more guys now.

They got me in for my appointment, kept me updated and were finished quickly. They are a great team at this location.

My car was due for the tire rotation/balance/alignment. They were very good at keeping me updated during the whole process and very courteous. I can't say enough good things about this location and everything I have experienced after using them for years for new tires and all the routine things that go with them.

My vehicle has a noise in the front end. The tech found pretty quickly and got me going again.

Knew my SUV's tires were getting to point they needed to be replaced especially the front tires and with forecast of snow plus extremely cold weather pending, I decided to buy 4 new tires. I got an email about saving $50 on the purchase of 4 tires in the form of a rebate gift card plus my birthday is January 30 which gave me $25 off my purchase. I had to reapply for my Plaza credit card because I only used it the last time I bought tires, but that time was for my truck. I really appreciate that using a Plaza credit card and paying the balance off within 6 months saves me any interest fees on large purchases like tires. It makes it so much easier and affordable to feel safe driving with new tires on my Pathfinder and paying for them on a budget. Jason Grief made me feel so comfortable and let me know my business was appreciated. I trust the mechanics at this location when I need service advice. Thank you.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. They noticed that my tire was dry rotting! I took this to a tire repair shop and they had to look hard to find the area that plaza found. They were even impressed with the fact plaza spotted this issue! They said everything down to how tight the lugs were on was perfect. I have always been very impressed with plaza tire and they definitely continue to have my business.

They don’t pressure you into stuff your vehicle doesn’t need that are very honest and open hearted. And they don’t let you just seat there and wonder about your vehicle. My Pathfinder had been just sitting for at least 6 or 7 months because I lost my keys and had no luck finding them until a few weeks ago when it was a windy, but warmer day and I zipped up a jacket and felt something in the pocket...my keys! I was advised by my boyfriend and son-in-law to have it checked out real good after sitting for so long without being started and to have the oil & filter changed, fluids checked & topped off. I had 4 new Michelin tires installed. I was satisfied until I realized they had left my tires inflated to 40 psi when they should be 33 in the front and 30 in the back. The tires would have worn very badly if I had not checked this. I know this is a small thing, but after spending a large amount of money, it was a disappointment.

I spent $1000.00 on tires that wasn't 8 months old plus a warranty. I had to replace 1 about 3 months ago which was covered under warranty but I still had to pay $35.00 to have it replace. My 2nd tire went flat one morning when I got off work. I put air in the tire and drove it to this location and they refused to replace it because it was low tire pressure and wanted to charge me $120 for a lower tread tire. I kindly told them to put my temp tire back on and I would never do business with them again. According to my warranty I was covered for any replace of a tire with no charge. Just letting you people know that they do not stick behind there warranty. So if you purchase tires from there make sure you read the fine print because you will still be out of money.

Upon purchase and cost inquiry a protection plan was never discussed or offered. 8 days later I returned to report a knot on drivers back rear tire, staff immediately said it was a impact break and replaced the tire again without discussing a protection plan until they informed me I owed for the new tire because it did not have the protection plan. Yes I was very upset, I explained this was the first anyone had mentioned the protection plan, the salesman was present from initial purchase when I explained and never spoke up. There was no apology or any effort to make amends for not informing me upon purchase of a protection plan. I asked to keep the tire removed and they still charged me for tire disposal and new valve stems (just placed 8 days ago and not damaged). Would not recommend utilizing their services.

I dropped a tire and wheel off, my wife hit a pot hole and flattened it. It was about 1030, I dropped it off amd said I'm not sure of it aged the tire or just popped the seal. I told them if the tire is bad go ahead and replace it. He said ok it'll take us a bit, I said thats fine I'll leave and come back. He said give us to at least 3. I said no problem..thats 5 hours to take care of one tire.i get there about 315 and the guy says come out here and look at something? I'm thinking the rim is damaged...he then shows me the wheel with the tire still on it and says the tire is slit on the sidewall from the rim. I said I dropped it off for 5 hours and i said change it is it's bad! What was the point of me dropping it off for 5 hours then then just waiting to tell it's bad! So I had to wait 45 minutes for then to change it!! So basically they didn't do anything to it for 5 hours after I told them to change it if it's bad!!! so after 5 hours I had to sit and wait 45 minutes!

I think you all do good work there. However, a mechanic or someone spoke with me regarding the work. They told me it would be a total of around $400 to get the work done (new brake pads, smart driver package with coupon discount, and getting a wheel bearing fixed). When I came back to pick the car up, a different person checking me out told me the total was $900 and some change, much to my surprise. Apparently there was work for two wheel bearings being fixed instead of one on the ticket. So after that was taken off, the price was down to like $688, which I paid. Unfortunately, it will be hard for me to return due to the discrepancy in pricing. Like I said, I think you all do good work. But I don't want to risk paying for something that wasn't actually done (like the extra wheel bearing) nor do I want to pay nearly $300 more than I am quoted.

After I purchased a set of tires from Plaza I noticed that I was loosing air pressure on a weekly basis, 4-8 pounds per tire. After a couple months of adding air weekly I made a return visit to have this checked out. After checking the tires the technician reported it was from not getting driven on a daily bases. My response was I didn’t spend over a thousand dollars on a set of tires that were having to have air added every week. He then reluctantly offered to bead seal and seal valve stems. They have since quit leaking. This is by far the worst tire service experience I have ever had. I will not be going back for my next set of tires.

The grey headed guy at the counter was kind of a smart ass. He swore up and down the tires I had wouldn't fit. I took it down the road and had them put on. The fit perfectly. Three stars. I was referred to this dealer by a Chrysler dealership since they didn't have the tire for my 2019 Chrysler 300 vehicle. One tire had a pinhole leak in the sidewall and I needed to replace it with a similar tire since the OEM tires had only 13600 miles of use. The dealer did a good job of replacing my Firestone Firehawk tire but they didn't tell me it wasn't an exact fit/replacement. My tires were Firestone Firehawk GT tires and the replacement was a Firestone Firehawk A/S, Although the replacement is the same size (245/45/R20), it was NOT the same width (contact patch on the road. The replacement was similar but it was not clear if the tread contact patch would keep the tire from "pulling" to the side when placed on the front. The DEALER DID NOT TELL ME THE TIRE WAS NOT AN EXACT REPLACEMENT. I had to contact the central offices of both Firestone Tire Co. and Plaza Tire to find out if the tread and contact patch would cause any problems. The Dealer should have told me the tires weren't identical and allowed me to choose to buy just one or to buy TWO matching tires because of my concern. The facility was clean, service was reasonably fast, and the price was not exorbitant.

Plaza on park avenue does not stock 0W40 oil requiring ordering it at $10 a quart. A synthetic 40 weight oil should be a stock item not more than $7 a quart, bought in bulk the price should be even lower. Over $80 for 5 quarts and a filter is to high, so I left.

I came into this store last week, I have taken my car to a different location & have never had any issues before. The Manager taking over at the current moment was SUPER NICE and was trying to be very helpful! Aside from that, they talked about how there was only 1 mechanic in the back but they were overbooking like crazy and not turning people down before closing. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours waiting on my oil change & tires to be rotated. I felt like the services that were supposed to be done were not completed 100%. I drove to Nashville the next morning & my brake light on the dash came on. I called and one of the managers told me there would have been no way anything could have been touched because they do not mess with the brake fluid area & that it could be a sensor. He tried to set me up for an appointment for brakes, I knew nothing was wrong. I had stopped to check and the entire cap was completely off which was triggering the sensor. They were supposed to put a windshield wiper on my back windshield as well, which was not completed. Just the way everything was handled that day I was even uncertain my oil had been changed; I am still not even sure my tires were rotated. I don't like going into a business and leaving with an underlying feeling like things were not performed properly. I am definitely not a person to write a bad review. I have been in retail for many many years. My thoughts are if you are short handed, don't overbook your business for failure. When I was walking out a lady was cussing the manager because one of the guys ran over a curb in her car. I will not be bringing my vehicle in for its normal routine as I used to. Thank you.

Frankly, the BEST service I have ever received. We were traveling to St. Louis from Birmingham and had an issue with a tire. I gave Vanzant's Plaza Tire Service a one star due to poor service. My truck was brought in on a wrecker. I trusted them to lock my truck up and to conduct service the next morning on a pre-scheduled early appointment. Upon arrival that morning, I found they had not even wrote a ticket/work order up on it AND had left my truck unlocked, key in the ignition and the driver side window down during the previous night. In addition, I had told three of the employees I could not pick the truck up late due to a prior scheduled "out of town" appointment thus the early appointment. This was not adhered too, the early appointment. The mechanic did finally call and report what the issue was with the truck, stating it could be picked up in a about an hour. He was informed I was out of town. We discussed options of pick up the next day since they were going to be closed. he stated he would call back and settle "pick up plans". He never called back. I went the next day hoping to pick up my truck, second time my truck was left unlocked, left in the parking lot in a not too nice neighborhood. I had to leave my truck...over the weekend. After it was all done and over with, I will say the mechanic did a great job on repairing the issue at hand and the the Manager did compensate regarding the price of the bill. Will I go back? I don't know.

I paid 190.00 on 11-15-2019 to have my thermostat changed. On 5-14- 2020 my thermostat stuck open again. I was charged another 190.00 to put a new one in. The first one did not last 6 months, and there was no warranty coverage. As far as the workers go, they are friendly and polite. But I am not impressed with whoever does there warranty coverage. I heard one of the workers on the phone, and the thermostat was covered under warranty, but I was still charged 190.00. The reason I used them for the replacement, is they are about 50.00 cheaper then my local garage. So if you want warranty coverage I would go somewhere else. The only reason I even give them 2 stars instead of 1, is because the workers are so friendly. And the workers seem to know what there doing, and do good work. Just my .02. Tom. --- 6/11/2020. P.S. One observation during this remodeling phase, seems to me, the guys are short staffed. For sure Kelly and Levi were in need of more help with the large volume of business. VanZants does an excellent job with tires and oil changes. They could upgrade the waiting area a little. Chairs are a little raggedy and a water fountain would add a welcome drink. Everyone is nice and friendly and I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.

Vanzant’s recently did a tire rotation for me on my Audi and it went without issue. The following day one the tires was very low on air and I returned to have them look at it. They went way beyond expectations and spent a lot of time to determine why the tire leaked. They took care of the problem without charge even though it had nothing to do with the tire rotation the day before. Great service!
