Auto body repair service near Grafton, MA

When my parked car got hit at work, I needed a repair shop close by and Garden City Auto Body was just around the corner. Paul did the usual estimate and gave me great advice on waiting for the check payment before I brought it back into him. After getting the car fixed and looking pretty, there was a slight area on the repaired door that was letting wind in. I took it back into Paul, who did his best to fix the problem, even taking a drive with me to check it out himself. With a few more adjustments, it was fixed and with no charge to me! I would recommend these guys to anyone!

I have been going to Fairbanks Auto Body since I have owned a Vehicle. They are fair-priced, honest, their work is good. Also, scheduling an appointment is quick, I usually drop it off the day after I call and pick it up same day. Highly recommend this garage. -Emilie

Brought the car in for diagnosis, they said the engine was "seized" (total BS... I later took the engine apart and while I had melted the pistons, the rotating assembly did move and the engine could still turn over). Said I needed a new engine. Told me they found one to buy, then three months later told me they hadn't actually bought it (without calling me to tell me this). Returned maybe 2 calls in all of 6 months. SO, being a Volvo fanatic, I asked a couple of friends, then brought them an engine. A month later they hadn't even started on the swap. A month after that, I went in and took my car, my engine, and a bunch of parts that I had bought back from them. These guys can't pick up the phone without being hounded, their technician told me I was wrong repeatedly, and nobody was really willing to help. Fortunately after six months they only made me pay for the diagnoses they did in the beginning. Credentials: I took the car and engine and parts home and did the swap myself in my driveway in two weekends, having never done one before on my own. Saved an estimated $1800 and didn't have to deal with them again.

I have a 2008 Sebring Convertable. I was rearended in October. They did an excellent job in fixing it, which wasn't easy because of all the stuff that makes the top go into the trunk and back up again. I would recommend them to anyone. I was very happy with their work. David S. Sloan

Charged $232 to remove a stuck bolt. Rude to my wife. They seem to rely on folks who simply pay the bill and don't understand anything about automobile repair and maintenance. Recommend avoiding them.
