Regular Vehicle Maintenance and Major Repairs

Contrary to the negative posts, all of the work that Long Meadow Auto Repair and Fuel has performed for my family over the last decade has been exceptional. Oil changes, brake work, engine repairs, and tire installation, were all done within a friendly and competent atmosphere. As such, I will continue to take all my vehicles to this business. Dennis L. Brakes

Took our car to have the brakes checked, and wound up paying way too much for a new master cylinder. After paying to get the car back, the car didn't even make it off the lot before the brakes completely failed again! When we called a tow truck to have the vehicle taken somewhere else, the owner actually blocked our car in with his own vehicle to keep us from taking it! Then we were threatened by the owner personally with a bat...REALLY. AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WHATSOEVER WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON!

Inspection

Terrible customer service! Very unprofessional. Had quite the potty mouth. Also overpriced parts and labor!

State Inspection

I agree with the previous review. Stay away. Terrible service and overpriced. Fouled up a simple inspection by not correctly filling out paperwork. Also witnessed the owner publicly drop the F-word at a citizen who had been involved in an accident outside his business.

Battery Testing

Stay away from Longmeadow Exxon. Prices are extreme. Tested a dead lawn mower battery for us that we purchased from Lowes and got charged a whopping fee of $16!!! Took the battery in on Sunday and a kid checked and said it was dead but would have John put it on some meter on Monday morn and get a better reading, never mentioned the price of $16, but offered to purchase the battery from us if it held a charge for the amount of $20. We would not have had it tested further if we had known of the $16 testing fee and nobody mentioned it until we went in this morn to pick it up. John would not budge saying it is his standard price! We have been customers for years, but he lost 2 good ones today with his exorbitant pricing and lack of customer care!
