Very happy! Saved me thousands over what the BMW dealership quoted and we then brought him my hubby's Audi Q5 which he did an amazing job on. This is our go to place for everything on our vehicles from now on.

These guys are fantastic! My first experience with Pete was having him build a race engine for my Mustang years ago. I then had him and his guys go through the engine on my sons Subaru. I have been very impressed by the time that they took to explain everything to me, the thoroughness of repairs, and the follow through. Very fair prices too. Bringing them our Mercedes this week for an oil change, tune up and brakes. They are a breath of fresh air in the auto repair world.

Electrical Issues

My Jeep had some strange lights on the dash and weird electrical problems. I spent 6 months between 2 Jeep/Dodge dealerships and 1 other auto repair shop trying to get it fixed. NO ONE COULD FIX IT! The last Jeep dealership finally told me that they thought it needed a new computer and all new wiring but that they really didn't know for sure. They quoted me $3,900 but said that their would be no guaranty this would fix it. I was so frustrated! A co-worker heard about my ordeal and told me to bring it to Piston Pete. I almost didn't bother but thank God I did. I made an appointment at Piston Pete's. Came in and he got right on it. IN 1 HOUR OF TIME! He came up to the waiting room with a small chunk of corroded wiring and told me that he believed he had found the problem. In another 30 minutes he had fixed the wiring and had me back on the road with no lights and everything working perfectly. I was blown away! This was months ago and my Jeep has been working perfectly ever since. I will never go else ware for anything on my Jeep or any other vehicle from this point forward. Best Mechanic Ever! Tire repair, oil changes, maintenance and repair work

My BMW got a flat tire so I pulled into Lakeville Goodyear. It took them 2 hours to even look at it. They then said that I needed a new tire but that I needed 4 NEW TIRES! The tires were only 6 months old! They were all like new! I asked them to fill it up with air. They charged me to check it out. I then drove down the road planning on taking it home and putting my spare tire on. I was driving past Piston Pete's and decided to pull in. They were crazy busy! They were working on a Maserati, a Range Rover, multiple BMW's a few Audi's, and more nice cars. These guys dropped everything to take care of fixing my 1 tire. They had it fixed and me back on the road in less than 30 minutes for $29 They did not try to sell me any more tires or even the 1 tire. It wasn't a problem at all for them to fix it. This was early last summer. I have been coming to them ever since for all of my oil changes, maintenance and any work that needs to be done and have been very happy. You guys have a customer for life!

Engine Work

I purchased a BMW with a salvage title in Florida, drove it back and it started having issues on the way back. I stopped at Honest1 in prior lake to have them look at it. They said that I needed a new engine and that they could not do the job since it was a twin turbocharged engine. I had it towed to the BMW dealership. They said that I needed a new engine which would cost over $45,000 I was distraught. A coworker told me to get an estimate from Piston Pete on a new engine. So I called him. He had it towed in and it DID NOT NEED A NEW ENGINE! He fixed it perfectly over 2 years ago and it's been working perfectly ever since! Other shops and dealerships are either rip off places or they are not intelligent enough to fix engines on high end cars. Ever since this I bring Piston Pete's all of my vehicles for maintenance and repairs and will never go anywhere else.

Auto Service

Very easy to work with, they don't sell unnecessary REPAIRS and are very pragmatic in their approach to solving difficult issues. They really know their stuff on a multitude of vehicles. I had my truck to 2 other shops no one new what was wrong! Pete took the time to explain things completely! The other shops thought that it was a major problem and they couldn't figure it out. It has been working perfectly now for over a year since Piston Pete's fixed it. Since then I have had them take care of all of the maintenance on all of my families cars. Locally owned and they have real mechanics, not kids!! They will always have me and everyone I know as customers!

I've been taking my cars to Piston Pete's for years. They handle all of my families maintenance, tires and repairs on all of our vehicles. We own both American and European cars. Always happy with the work done. My opinion is that you won't find a better shop in the area for the price and quality of work.

Jeep Work

Every time I’ve been into the shop it's been a great experience! My whole family including my Dad and Mom feel the same way. Amazing customer service and good prices. I won’t go anywhere else!

Engine work

I called this shop because Goodyear and the dealer told me that I needed the engine replaced on my BMW. All that I wanted was a quote to see if I could save some money. Pete said that he really should check my BMW out before we just replaced the engine. So I reluctantly brought it in planning on spending seven to ten thousand dollars to have him replace the engine. IT DID NOT NEED AN ENGINE! Pete had it fixed in 2 days for pennies compared to what I was planning on paying him. This is the only shop that I am going to from now on.

Porsche Work

A coworker referred me to this shop and I am very happy that I found them. Great work on my Porsche! Since then I have been bringing them all of my other cars and have been very happy with the work.

Toyota, Maserati, Chevy & Mini Work

These guys have been working on everything from my Maserati to my Chevy for years. Always very happy with the jobs they do. This is the 1st place I have ever found to work on every vehicle I bring them. No matter what maintenance or repairs are needed, it is taken car of fast and done right the 1st time!

Oil Burning

I bought my Audi new and followed the exact oil change recommendations which the dealer recommended. I even brought it to the dealer for every oil change. It then hit 105,000 miles and I had to add 4 quarts of oil to it. The dealer had just changed the oil a few months prior. I brought it back to the dealer and they said that I needed to have them rebuild the engine. They said that it was burning the oil out of the exhaust. They also said that they see this all of the time. The estimate was crazy expensive. I was blown away! How could this be the case? It's an Audi! Thank God I found Piston Pete's though a friend. I "Did Not" need the engine rebuilt. My car now has 115,000 miles on it I have not had to add any oil to it. It no longer burns any oil and it runs better than ever! Thank You Pete! You have earned a customer for life!

Audi, Lexus & Porsche Work

Around 7 years ago I heard from a friend that this guy was incredible when it came to working on his Audi and Porsche so I decided to give him a try. He ended up doing the exact same work on my Audi that the dealership quoted me for less. I was very impressed with the quality of work he did back then and still today. My entire family and friends have been going to Piston Pete's ever since. There has not been any make or model that he has not been able to fix in a timely manor. We are always extremely happy with the work that is done and will never go anywhere else.

Wiring Issue & Fluid Changes

1 other shop and the dealership could not figure out my truck. The dealer said that they thought that it needed a complete new wiring harness and gave me a $6,000.00 estimate. Piston Pete's found a damaged wire and had it fixed the same day! If you're looking for the best of the best, this is the shop! I will be recommending everyone I know to go here from now on.

Mercedes, BMW & Audi Work for years

3 years ago the dealer told me that the Headgasket was leaking oil on my Mercedes and gave me very expensive quote. I decided to have another shop by my house look at it. They said that they were not sure what was leaking but that it was probably the Headgasket. My dad told me to take it to Piston Pete's because they work on European cars all of the time. I brought it in, it was not the Headgasket at all. The job ended up being much smaller than the dealership said. My husband and I have a Mercedes, an Audi and a BMW. For the past 3 years we have taken all of them to Piston Pete's and we live 45 minutes away. Always affordable brand new rental cars & well worth the drive!

Engine Work

After bringing my car to 2 shops, which were unable to figure it out, I then brought it to the dealer. The dealer said that I needed 14 thousand in work to fix it, I decided to get one more opinion and brought it to Piston Pete. 3 days later it was fixed and now runs better than ever. Saved my husband and I thousands and to imagine that even the dealer was completely wrong about what it needed. I will only be bringing our cars to Piston Pete's from now on.

Oil pressure problem

I went into the dealership because my check engine light was on. They told me that I had low engine oil pressure and needed $2800 plus in work done to fix the problem. I called Piston Petes to get an estimate to have the work done. Pete said that he could do it for a little less but that he would really like to check it out before we just went ahead with the work. I dropped it off and less than $200 later the problem was fixed. I had planned on paying Piston Petes to do $2500 to fix the problem. I will never go anywhere else again! Pete is The Most Trustworthy Mechanic I Have Ever Heard Of!

My family has been going to piston petes since I was a kid and they have always been very happy with the work. I recently bought a used BMW and it started having problems soon after. I had the dealer check it out and showed my mom the estimate of $17,251.00 that they gave me. She told me to bring it into piston petes to see what they say. They didn't even end up needing to do everything that the dealership said that it needed. Great prices, trustworthy work. Just like the rest of my family I will never go anywhere else but here from now on.

Multiple Services

Perfect work done last week on my Corvette. These guys spent days going through the entire car performing multiple services and I am so happy with how well the car works now. Engine repair

After three different estimates on what was wrong with our Ford Expedition and how much it would cost, including the Ford dealer telling us we need to replace the entire engine for over $9,000, we took our Expedtition to Pete. He was professional, patient, and able to fix our engine, not replace, and it is now running better than it did when we first purchased the vehicle. Super efficient and accommodating. We now have a new mechanic for our vehicles. Trust Pete and the work he does 110%.

Air Conditioning/Strange Noise/Alignment

I met Piston Pete 17 years ago while grocery shopping and he has been taking care of my families cars ever since. I just love the new shop and we are always so happy with the work that is done. You will not find a better more reliable and honest mechanic out there.

Everything imaginable for years

Perfect hydraulic suspension work recently on my Twin Turbocharged Mercedes and all of my Audi's for years. There is nothing Piston Pete's can't fix. Always reasonable prices as well as professional, honest repairs and maintenance. You guys have a customer for life.

Transmission

My regular shop told me that my Honda needed the transmission replaced. I could not afford to replace it. My sister told me to bring it to her mechanic's shop "Piston Pete's" and see what he would charge to replace or rebuild it. He called me a few hours after dropping it off and told me that the transmission "DID NOT" need to be replaced and that it was just a sensor going bad. By the end of the day it was fixed and it has been working perfect since then. The most honest and skilled mechanic I have ever met! Thank You SOOOO Much Pete!

That moment when you find a mechanic you trust with the health of your 16 year olds "new" car - not sure you can put a value on that. I had the pleasure of working with Pete directly to ensure our daughters "new" 2002 A6 was all that it was advertised to be. Pete was thorough, kept at it until things were just right (Mama wants all things working right - old car or not). A couple of sensors and new mirror later, all seems great and those scary "check engine" lights are gone. Why take the time write a review? Pete called me personally to follow up on the cars performance, 2 weeks later - just checking in to be sure we got it.
