He could’ve just went with what I had planned on doing but instead took the time to explain it was a better idea and got me taken care of.

I've always went to this place for my tires. I've always bought the extended warranties and tire protection plans for the tires. I just wish more coupons were available or discounts at least because a $80 oil change. Compared Two 4 years ago when it was only $30 for my full size truck and I only have a compact car 4 cylinder vehicle and now it's over doubled in price that make no sense even with inflation up that rediculous.

Your technicians performed a wheel alignment on my car, the need for which was identified when I had my tires rotated at an earlier date. They got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time and provided me with a print of the before and after alignment settings. The cost was covered by my lifetime alignment which I purchased years ago.

After loosing the tread on one of my utility trailer tires coming back from Southern Illinois, I went to Plaza Tire at 170 S Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau and as always received great and speedy service. The tire size on my 20 year old heavy duty "Home Made" (by a metal worker, not me) trailer was not a common size but they located and installed the tire for me. I had them install a 2nd tire due to its age and not wanting another incident while pulling a load. Thanks to each of the Plaza Tire South Kingshighway team for their help and speed.

We needed a tire after we came for a visit in Cape Girardeau. Plaza tire was quick to fix it for us and find a tire that match what we had in tread. When we pick the car up we noticed a white scratch by our gas tank. The manager was so very helpful but we Remembered there was a white Jeep parked next to us. He even went so far as to buff out the scratch for us which we found was really helpful. These are the kind of people we like to deal with.

I was told I'd have to wait 1.5 hours before they could get to it and I might try about 2:30. I was told they couldn't make appointments, I had to wait on site. I decided to wait a day or so. My second attempt, a different day, I came about 2:30 and was told the stalls were filled for the rest of the day. I could see no one waiting. This clerk said be there at 7:30 the next morning. Other shops couldn’t get me in for a week to check the charging system. They got me in the next day. They tested the alternator and said it was good but while replacing the belt, because of my concern about the alternator they rechecked it with the belts off and found the bearing in the alternator was going bad. This shows me they didn’t just go with an electrical test. They went ahead and checked it again after it passed the standard tests. I’m very pleased. This is my go to shop.

After jumping it, I arrived and explained the situation trying to hold in my tears out of my recent loss and frustration. Bob made me a priority and got me in and out quickly so I could attend the funeral. The entire time worked together on my car…I felt so blessed. Everything was great. I had a bad tire and needed a replacement tire immediately. I couldn't remember how old the tires were and the guy that helped me was able to look up my car in the computer and tell me they were 5 years old; he then recommended that I buy a new set of 4 given their age and went through each of the available brands in stock that would fit my 20" wheels. He told me about the rebate and they were able to get them installed in a couple of hours. They also checked and did an alignment. I used my Plaza Tire card to pay in 6 months interest free like I usually do. Also, Before work was done, I forgot to ask and the service man did not tell where the parts came from & what kind. The parts used were un greasable. I would have preferred them to have grease fittings even if more expensive!!! 12000 miles is like having no warranty at all !No wonder repairs need to be repeated over & over!

I took my Rav 4 to replaced all four tires & the Manager John Sneed deserve the excellent award for taking care on my vehicle bcuz U guys run out of tires that showing in your ads & John make sure that he could find me a set of four tires with the closes price on the ads that U have on your flyer... The only thing g that I’m disappointed is that the tire in your ads that is the one I like but U don’t have in stock anymore so on my opinion if U guys put up an ads make sure U always have the product in store if u don’t have it anymore remove it on the ads... Waited 2 hours to have 2 tires put on my car, asked for the new tires to be placed on the front of my car. When I got home I realized the new tires were on the back went back and asked for it to be fixed and the sales man told me "I never told him that" except it was on my receipt to have the tires placed on the front of the vehicle.

I called them on a Friday evening to set up an appointment on the following wednesday. They said I could bring my car in that night and they would get to it first thing Saturday morning. They called me Saturday morning said they had just pulled it in to rotate and balance the tires, and they also called me to let me know that they had done a computer print out of a few service things that I need to get taken care of. I was very pleased at the fact that they called me to tell me that they did a printout instead of going ahead and doing the work.

I went 2 weeks ago because my tire was leaking air. They checked and said nothing was wrong with the tire. The other services they did were great. This week I had to go back - same tire was going soft. This time when they checked, they found a small roofer's nail in the tire and then fixed it. Now everything is good, but I wish they had found it the first time. The people there are very nice though!

And that was after I asked at the counter about it - kind of like waiting at a doctor's office! But I would go back for more work. Went to get an oil change, I also ended up getting my coolant flushed, however they didn’t put any coolant back in my car and it caused it to overheat as I wasn’t aware that they didn’t put any back in. I wouldn’t even use them as a last resort, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

My wife took her vehicle in to get the tires rotated (we have free rotations there) they called me and said the preliminary inspection showed we needed the front end aligned. I said go ahead I purchased the lifetime alignment so it's no cost. He said no you don't have that I already checked. I said it's under my wife's name. He came back and said yes you do have it. When my wife picked it up they said it didnt need an alignment after all. That's the second time they've pulled something like that on me. Not sure if their trained to do that or it's an individual pushing up quotes. But I dont trust them.

My car wouldn't start because there was acid buildup on the battery. I had to have the car started using jumper cables but I couldn't turn the engine off so I tried several car repair shops close by to have the battery cleaned. I found out it would take several hours before they could get to my job. Then I went to Plaza Tire and they were able to work me in within an hour. They were courteous and took care of me in a professional way. I also really like their practice of checking your car tires for air and filling them when needed.

Well I would edit my first review if ik how. I went out of town after getting my tires and my brakes started grinding really bad after. If my brakes were so horrible , why would they not tell me after changing all 4 tires. I have to replace the pads and rotors costing me $750 so upset with with that I won't even call bc I'm gonna curse out whoever answers the phone

Poor. Normally, I am used to very punctual service at Plaza Tire. I arrived at the S. Kingshighway store just before 8am. I went in for an alignment. He suggested I also rotate the tires -- I said fine. When asked about anything else I told him that I was probably due for an oil change. I went back to the store around 2pm to check on progress. No progress. I went back at 4pm (closing time). The only thing they had gotten to was the oil change ... which was not the actual reason I went there in the first place! The man apologized and gave me a $10 off the lifetime alignment. . $10 off of a $150 service is a poor substitute for time and confidence. Since then I have been to the N. Kingshighway store for the alignment (score-4). And because it is still pulling to the left I will ask them to check it again.

I took child's car for inspection (college student). PT failed the inspection requiring several items. They offered to do the work at a cost of several hundreds of dollars. I took the vehicle back, walked across the parking lot and bought the parts next door at half the PT price. I had an inspection station at my home do the labor and the inspection (again less than half price). Their words, "This was not worthy of failing your inspection. They saw a college student and looked to make some money."

Last second decision to change my tires before the snow storm hit. Mike suggested the best available replacement for my Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires, made the appointment for thirty minutes after our phone call, and had the work done in about an hour. Good job!

This time I went inside and questioned why I have to do this so often for fairly new tires purchased there almost two years ago. I went in for a inspection on my 2015 passat that i have maintained since i purchased it in 2018 had new control arms and bushings installed many months earlier due to a mishap with a blind curb....however plaza failed my car saying my control arms and bushings were bad on both sides ! And i needed to pay well over 1000 bucks to fix ! The parts where less than 200 so how could they come up with a price that high ...these people at south kingshighway plaza are trying to rip people off ! Will never go there again !

I have been a loyal customer if Plaza Tire for years. I was very upset with the service I received today. I left my vehicle at 10:45 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. for an oil change, fluid check and I asked them to check my break pads. I normally wait on my car when serviced and it takes around an hour to an hour and a half, but I had 2 appointments today and my sister followed me over to take me to them. When I arrived back at Plaza, the attendant couldn't find my key or paperwork. He went to the back and told me they were working on my car now. I took a seat. At 2 pm, I went to the desk to ask the status of my car and was told they were still working on it. At 2:45, I again went to the desk and asked the status because four people had come in while I was there, one with an oil leak, and all left. I feel they did not start working on my car until I came back. At 2:55, a serviceman came out and told me I needed brake pads and a flush. I told him I wanted my car so I could go home to Illinois now. At 3:20 pm, they pulled my car around. I am a Plaza Tire holder and am very disappointed in the service I received

I brought our car in for a stud repair and replace missing nut. What we got was an oil change and an inspection but NOT the repair I brought it in for. Yes, I did agree to the oil change and asked for the inspection, but those were add-ons to the repair. They added an air filter, which my husband told them to wait on, and to top it all off, in the NOTES, from the oil change, they listed “rear driver tire needs new stud and nut”. Uh, YEAH, that’s what we came in for! They were extremely busy and only one guy doing the paperwork, so he was very overwhelmed. I gave them 2 stars of Grace because of that, but I wanted to give them 0. So very aggravating that now I have to drop my car off again to have the repairs completed that I originally asked for.

I came in just to get a front end wheel alignment. Your super salesman said my tires were wore out and I needed new tires. I thought I had a few more thousand miles left on them, but decided to go ahead and purchase them anyway. A few days later I saw an oil change sticker on the wind shield. I did not authorize that. Now i am thinking super salesman snuck that in and charged me for it with out me knowing.it. I lost my receipt so I went back to Plaza and requested a copy of the receipt. I could not find where I was charged for an oil change. Wow I got an oil change, with the new tire purchase, which I needed any way. While I was mad before, I am very happy with Plaza now. That is good service

I give a 4 star rating. Not because I'm disappointed with the service. That is always great. However my bill was $75 more expensive than I normally pay for service. I was called and asked if I wanted the filter changed of which I agreed. He also said extra oil might be requires and there would be a charge for that. I wish they had told me the cost beforehand so I would not have been shocked once I arrived to pick up my vehicle. But I share in the blame because I could have asked and failed to do so.

I went in to get an oil change and to get a "Low Tire Pressure" sensor taken care of. I was there shortly before they opened, but had one person ahed of me, so it took about an hour to get on my way. Everyone was courteous and helpful.

My first visit was because I had a very low tire. I was told nothing was wrong it was just the weather getting cooler. Took a 3 hours trip back home, I am a college student. Had to add air again at home and again in 3 days time. My grandpa noticed my Buick app was showing the wrong tire flat. I had to add aid again a third time so I went back to Plaza Tire and was told again no flat tire but they did correct the sensors that they neglected to do at my tire rotation 2 weeks previously. So I told the technician "NO. It would not keep showing flat on sensor and I have to add air every 3 days if nothing was wrong." I had just purchased the tires about 30 days prior from them. So I called my Grandmother and she talked with him over the phone and explained it all again. He told her he would get it back in and check right away. He gave me my phone back and grabbed my keys from my hand and walked away. I said "thank you" 3 times as he was walking away and he just kept walking. He checked again and found a nail in my tire. Hopefully, all is fine now.

I called Plaza Tires on Thursday, September 10, 2020 to inquire about the price of tires. I spoke with Adam who gave me several options and encouraged me to bring my vehicle to their facility. The next day, I arrived to have my vehicle serviced about 10am. 4 tires and wheel alignment was completed in less than 1½ hours. A little pricey but I am satisfied with services received. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Also, there are coupons online for many of their services. This facility practice social distancing. I would recommend Plaza Tires. Thank you.

I was in Cape Girardeau on business, as I was preparing to travel back home (2.5 hr commute) my low tire warning came in my dashboard. I applied air but wanted to get the tire checked to ensure I would have issues while traveling. I got they when they opened, they got me in immediately checked all 4 tires. My daughter took her vehicle there to get a tire patched. After an hour and a half they told her that it couldn’t be patched and she need 2 new tires as the was a slit in the other one although it was not leaking air! Two and a half hours later she was finally able to leave! She did call prior to going to schedule an appointment and they told her one is not needed for a patch. i had my wife take tire's that we purchase somewhere else and have them mounted and balance, she told me that on the way home they made a roaring noise .. i thought to myself well that what i get for buying cheap tire... the very next day she came home said it was worst !!! ( mine you she drives 50 miles one way to work ) so i decided i better drive it, upon driving it ii heard a very load roaring so loud that i couldn't figure out which side it was coming from , so I lifted front on tahoe up and found both wheel hubs were loosen bad also on passenger side the boot was torn no greease what so ever in axle this at the least should have been caught by the techincan that installed tires i would like to know your policy on monting and balancing tires.. do you inspected for bad wheel hub axle boot torn andy kind on inspection ... Went to Plaza Tire for a tire leaking air. I ask them to plug the tire. They came back and said the tire didn’t have a hole to plug. The seal was broke and they could seal it. They returned and said another tire had a broken seal, I had it repaired. Some might say I was taken on the second tire. I don’t think so. Because... I took another tire two weeks earlier for the same kind of slow leak. They told me the the entire tire needed to be replaced. I bought a new tire. I just bought this car last month and the check tire light has been on since 5 days after purchase.

Crooks who lie about tires that can’t be patched and need to be replaced, treat woman especially bad, tell you your car is out of alignment when you just had it aligned a few days earlier. We have used them for years, currently have 6 cars, a boat trailer, a camper and a utility trailer and are finally done with them. Never going back. However - my own fault - I forgot to also ask for the free tire rotation that is part of the coverage when we bought tires, so the tire rotation was not done. Waited for over two hours to rotate tires and have them check on a noise in the front of the vehicle. Finally got rotation done and was informed of the noise to be from bearing in front wheel. After they gave me over a 600 estimate to do the bearing. They also recommended back brakes and a cv boot. I ask how much that would be and they informed me it would be over 1000.00. I chose at that time to take the vehicle to my local mechanic and he did the whole job plus an oil change for 406.00. I understand the overhead and all that goes with running a business but this to me was more than excessive. Clerks were not as friendly as usual. I use synthetic oil in my car, but didn't mention that fact. My fault. But I thought Plaza Tire would have synthetic in their system. Also, I wanted my car checked with their diagnostic equipment. Motor had a little shimmy, and I thought they could tell me what was wrong. They didn't run a diagnostic check. The reason given for not doing that was unclear. I was told to take my car to the dealership. The person who checked me out seemed to not be a happy camper. Although, he did tell me to have a good day. It seems to me like there is some jealousy among the men at this Plaza Tire. Maybe not jealousy, but unrest. This trip to Plaza was not great.

I wanted to take advantage of your Smart Driver Package promotion since I have 6 vehicles that I drive and maintain. That can get very costly. I had one done at the Jackson, MO location. I started there again to have my Corvette done, when as I was pulling into their parking lot I saw a neighbor across the street and looked away to wave at him.. That's when I heard this TERRIBLE noise. There is this sort of curb, about half the height of a regular street curb, in the middle of their driveway coming into their lot from the street. I ran over it and since my Corvette sits so low, it tore the complete exhaust system out from under my car. It cost my insurance company almost $1200 to repair it. Because of that "curb", I will not go back to that location. I took my next 3 vehicles to the south Kingshighway location. Was going to take my last vehicle there also, however, the day I went they were too busy, so I went to the north Kingshighway location.. Yesterday I was checking the fluids in all my vehicles and discovered none of them had the fluids topped off at none of the 3 locations! That was a part of the package. I was very "pissed" and upset, as I then had to make a trip to town to buy the antifreeze, windshield washer fluid, etc. and fill them all myself . I will not be taking any of my vehicles to Plaza Tire again!

If Plaza tire continues to allow this centralized location to represent the company then their future will be bleak! Never have I seen a more bumbling, dishonest, lying pack of weasels in my 57 years on this planet! This visit was for replacement of a valve stem leaking from the new tire purchase 2 days prior and I pointed out a cut on one tire for them to look at and the tire tech told me it looked like someone got up against a curb! Because a couple letters were rubbed off I took pictures because once again I was stunned! At the lying right to my face! The scowling faced asst. manager asked me do you expect us to find a defective valve stem out of the sixty thousand we get every year? I guess my only option here is to retain a lawyer then never do business with them ever again and spend my days everyone my horror story about Plaza tire!

>My truck had a tire that was 10 lbs. low on the back passenger side. The serviceman immediately arranged for someone to come out and air the tire. He said I could also have the tire checked and fixed if needed for $20. The more I thought about it, the more I started thinking 10 lbs. low on a newer truck was not normal and the tire should be examined. Sure enough, there were 2 pieces of sharp metal in the tires so iit had to be patched. I bought a new set of tires and wheels at the Cape Girardeau location they forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the front driver side and the next day the new tire and wheel flew off the truck damaging the front fender I got two estimates and they wrote me a check for the damage I have faithfully had the tires rotated during this visit to have tires rotated the service man took me out to the truck and told me that the tires were worn too badly for them to rotate them because they are five years old now I know that it doesn’t or shouldn’t go by the age of the tires it goes by the mileage which Has been 33,000 miles since my purchase of these tires and I would think they should last longer than that also they sold me some locking lug nuts and during one tire rotation didn’t replace the key and on my last three visits I have told them to replace the key to my glove compartment which they haven’t nor did they replace it on this visit so now if I have a flat I couldn’t take the tire wheel off anyway I since took pictures placing a penny in the treads that goes well into Abraham Lincoln‘s head showing treadwear I also purchased the lifetime front in alignment and the front tires are showing more wear than the rear yet none of these issues were addressed during the last tire rotation , so my review would be a bad one at least at this location I intend to visit the Perryville location and see if the results are different very bad business practices! One last thing The description of the vehicle being serviced is an 89 Ford pick up my vehicle is an 87 Chevrolet pick up just another example. Update! Sadly I gave these incompetent bumbling liars a chance to redeem themselves and true to form they gave me proof they care less about service! I bought new set of tires two days later returned for valve stem replacement and pointed out a cut In sidewall tone looked at I was told it looks like someone got up against a curb because a couple letters were rubbed off! I took pictures of it to show the letters intact and the fact the black wheel had not one scratch also that they snapped off a screw in the center cap but they said I was told about this then was asked by the scowling asst. manager if I expect them to catch a defective valve stem from the 60 thousand they get every year? My next plan is an attorney and never doing business with this band of thieves ever again as I tell everyone my horror story as a warning for the next few years.

Traveling through Mayfield KY on our way to a funeral we had a tire blow out. Mayfield KY had no tire for our car in stock and we checked 3 tire stores. We called Plaza Tire and they assured us they had it in stock. We told them we had to be in St Louis for a funeral and they had us back on the road in less than an hour. The staff was courteous and friendly and they did a great job. No problems driving 1500 miles home after the funeral. My husband is from the Cape Girardeau area and we have already to many friends and family members about our wonderful experience at Plaza Tire.

Wrote the wrong year on my inspection paperwork, so I had to go somewhere else to get it done, after waiting over an hour to get my vehicle inspected. When I asked how long it would take, the staff member at the desk said he'd get it right in and it would only take a few minutes. I watched my car get brought into the shop and sit for an hour. Also was never given rebate info for the tires I purchased. When. Asked about it, staff member said he'd look into it after acting like the tires I purchased never came with what i was told....by the same staff member when I git my tires installed. He never got back with me.
