My headlight was out, it is hard to get to. You need to go above the tire thing. They gave me a good estimate and stuck to it. Other places were charging an arm and leg but they were were very reasonable.

I needed new tires when I discovered a nail in one of the tires. I went to Plaza and they had the tires in stock and in less than an hour, the new tires were installed. They had the tires I wanted at a competitive price and professionally installed them.

Got bad news on both of my cars. Our new used odyssey van was losing air in one tire and Shaner suggested we replace both back tires as they were worn. Funny by the previous owner. I decided to replace all four so that they would wear evenly. I was fortunate you had a four for the price of three and set up a payment plan on the credit card. A few days later I bring in Our CADILLAC DEVILLE for a scheduled alignment and rotation on the Michelin‘s. I bought from Plaza Tire. Oh mechanic found that all the tires were dry rotting but only about 40,000 miles on them. Had to replace all four again with buy four for the cost of three. Shane gave me a good deal and we also added it to the Plaza credit card. Just say I was having a bad week was obvious, but I appreciate the honesty And efforts of Shane to give me the best deals possible. Thank you.

The Service Engine light was on and I brought my car in for a check up plus new windshield wipers. I have a 2011 Mitsubishi and live in an area without a service place for this brand of car but I was told that Plaza staff did something with car settings and thus far the warning light has not appeared. The Plaza associate told me he didn’t know if the work performed would work, but it’s been nearly a week and so far, so good.

I caught a flat traveling to Memphis with my family from St. Louis. Needless to say I was stranded in Ozora, MO terrified until roadside could come put my spare on. Next town that could replace my tire was Perryville, MO Plaza Tire which closed at noon. So the next town would be Cape Girardeau which was 45 minutes away that was closing at 4:30. I called and Glen reassured me that he would take care of me if I could make it by 4. Once arriving Glen had to know that I was a frantic mess because he welcomed my family and myself so pleasantly that at eased all the anxiety that I was experiencing. Went in for a slow leak, flat tire service. Bays were mostly empty, but desk service was distracted and distinctly unfriendly - not even eye contact. Asked to be called when it was finished - didn't happen. I called about two hours later and was informed it was all done and waiting.

I feel like your service is reliable, but it is a complete waste of time. I had a low pressure light on, after just having a tire rotation 3 days earlier. Anyway, so I drop by and ask to check my tire out. It literally took 1.5 hours from the time they pulled my car in the bay, to repair a valve stem. They charged me $1.87 for the valve stem repair and like $25 for the labor or something. I'm a CPA, how do you guys make any money from that? Insane! Seems like such a waste of time. Now I am very grateful and satisfied that it didn't cost that much. I'm not happy that it takes 1.5 hours for what to me, seems like a very insignificant service. Also, I WISH the marker on your reminder tags didn't fade so easily, after about 2 months I can never read the dang thing to know when I should get my tire service! It looks nice and reminds me to go to Plaza Tire, but what's the point if I can't read it after a month or two. Thanks

The price was right on my free tire rotation thru my tire protection plan I had purchased previously with my tires. Also the complimentary brake inspection was a nice bonus. On the brake inspection, I was happy to hear that I could go another 10k miles before needing news brakes contrary to what I had been told elsewhere. I have always appreciated how Plaza Tire doesn't try to sell stuff that is not needed but instead offer honest opinions. Please always continue to do that. This was not a good experience. I received conflicting information that caused me to have to wait over two hours for service. When I first stopped by to see if it was a good time to take my car in for an inspection it was 2:43PM. I asked the service counter if it was a good time and he said yes we can get right on it. I had to take my wife home but was back in by 2:51PM. No other customers had arrived in my brief absence. However, A different person has a the service counter and when I approached to give him my keys for the inspection, he said they couldn't do it that day and I should bring it back in the morning. I explained that I had just been there and the guy said they could get right on it. He took my keys and signed me in for the inspection but he didn't advise me that they couldn't get right on it. I ended up waiting two hours for my car. To me that is unacceptable service.

I had services of a oil change done in my car I just bought recently. They also changed one of my filters. I took my car in at 8:30 am and wasn’t done till close to 1:00. When I dropped my car off I told them I had a appointment I had to be at that day at 10:00am and I asked if it would be done then they said no they said 11:00am at earliest. I checked in in person to ask about 11:00 that morning if it was ready yet they said no. So I had to disrupt my parents work day to take me to my appointment and where else I needed to go because of their failure to get my car done earlier. My whole family and one of my families companies uses you for their car service needs. I was actually recommended to you all by many people. This is the first disappointing time of service I have had while using you all myself. I have used you all for my previous vehicle that got totaled last month. I called the day before taking my car in and they said I didn’t need a appointment. If I got my car in when you opened it wouldn’t take that long. You open at 7:30am but I took my car in at 8:30am still with the same impression it wouldn’t take long. All my comments above are super relavent. My parents were even upset that it took that long.

When I requested oil change the man at the counter tried to get me to do a synthetic oil. I told him that we use regular oil in it. And he gave me a hard time about it. I said that we put 5W-30 in it and he said it took something else. I asked him to do the regular 5W-30. I asked them to check the tire pressure because I keep getting the sensor alert on the dashboard. His response after they looked at it was that there were gashes in the rear tires. No further information or explanation. I would like to know what he meant by gashes, how bad were they, how they affect my tires, and if they were able to put air in the tires if they were low. There was a check engine code I asked them to read while they had my van back in the shop. I asked about 10 minutes after being there if there would be a charge because the auto part store down the road will read it without a charge. I didn't want him to do it if they were going to charge me. They already did it and I had to pay $19.99 for it. I don't think that should be a charge. When I checked out, I had to request the codes from the reading. Even though I was paying for it, they did not automatically provide the codes for me until I requested it. Needless to say, I didn't have a good experience.

This tire looses air and I have had them check it on a couple different visits. I was also not given a receipt and later called for it and they immediately texted me one. The staff were not friendly to me or other customers. One couple walked in while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. The couple said their low tire light was on and asked for their tire pressure to be checked and air added as they were getting ready to drive several hours to KC. The two staff members were sitting at a table and told the couple they were not able to check the pressure or put air in while it was raining. However it was clearly not raining. They suggested the couple go down the road to a Rhodes to put get air. The customer further explained again he was traveling a long way and that he bought his tires from Plaza. The staff still did not seem interested in helping him insisting they can't do it while it was raining. The customer told them it was not raining. They stood up, looked out, and then said ok we will have someone out. The staff was extremely unprofessional and lacked common courtesy. I will definitely not be going back to that Plaza location.

To whom it may concern: I wish I would have read your mission statement before typing this to see if it included "Make potential customers feel like shit for their vehicles being tore up." October the 22nd I was hit in the rear wheel by a hit and run at an intersection. The impact severely affected the camber of my rear wheels. I had to work the 23rd and 24th so I limped around , all the while stressinh over the condition of my vehicle hoping that I wasn't causing more damage. On the evening of the 24th, Sunday, I hobbled back into town from a job in Jackson. I spotted the Plaza Tire sign as I approached Lexington and Kingshighway. For the first time in two days I was able to breathe a sigh of a relief, because I felt I could park my car at the North Kingshighway location in Cape and I would be fortunate to be in the hands of such a reputable company come Monday morning. My how our perception of companies can be so terribly wrong. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a guy with brown gelled up hair probably in his early thirties. (Wish I could remember his name but I threw the scribbled on paper away that he gave me.) The following dialogue is paraphrased. As I pulled into the parking spot he came out the door, I said man I hope it just needs an align ment. You would have thought I just towed in a totaled out car and just asked for my washer fluid replaced the way he scoffed at my alignment hopes. He said you are gonna need a lot more than an alignment with it looking like that. He quickly dropped to his belly right behind the spare tire where it is nearly impossible to see any of the suspension. I said what do you think? I don't know but it ain't good he replied. But I guess we can take a look at it he added as he shook his head as if all hope was lost and he couldn't believe I would bring such a mangled vehicle to his shop.(I will provide pictures of the damage if you will send me your email address) Ok well I'd appreciate that I said. (I mean I drove the vehicle for two days like this. He must have not seen very many vehicles in his day to be acting like he was. I guess he is a new hire.) After my first hour waiting I got up to go smoke a cigarette. As I was pulling my last drag I turned around towards the window and I could see new-hire making fun of my vehicle to another gentleman behind the counter who seemed unamused. He was gesturing with both hands held up in front of his face shoulder width apart with his hands tilted to roughly the same angle as my wheels and smiling  like a child at Christmas. I shook my head walked back in and sat down. 20 mins later the tech, a very to the point and professional seeming man came and got my vehicle and warned me he probably couldn't get it back to factory specs because I had it loaded down with tools, a lot of tools he said, but he could get it close. He got it on the rack and started doing his thing until new-hire strutted through the bays until he got to my vehicle and had a conversation with the tech. When he got back he said nothing to me and I had to ask what was the word. It ain't pretty he informed me. I would call the insurance company you are probably looking at 1000s of dollars of parts that I can't even get. Youll probably have to take it to Nissan. I informed him I didn't have collision and try to get some specifics on what was damaged. He said the lower control arm and probably a bunch of other stuff we are still trying to figure everything out. You have so much weight in there it's hard to tell. ( Let me just say. Ok I do home repairs and work on a lot of different stuff so I have to have lots of different tools. I removed the whole middle row of seats to offset the weight.) I sat back down he went back out to the bay and came right back. He said yeah unfortunately we aren't gonna be able to do anything for ya come on and we'll get ya back on the road. I asked him for a copy of the inspection paper it more or less said the following: Vdc off Slip Check engine Upper control arm bent Rearward control arm bent Maybe all 1/2 ton of tools in back!! He once again told me there was nothing they could vaguely citing the weight of the tools. I'm no scientist but there is no way I had 1000 pounds of tools in the back of my vehicle. The end So yeah that's how you get treated when you show up at your north Kingshighway location with your only way to make money on verge of being broke down. I was able to adjust the camber to almost normal with a couple wrenches from harbor freight and with all of that high dollar equipment in your shop they couldn't do anything to help me. That's pretty sad. I'm not sure if you care how your employees Treat people. Maybe you don't and that's fine too. But I guarantee you if I had any authority whatsoever in your company I would have that guy vacuuming floorboards and cleaning out ashtrays for at least a week.

We were traveling to Cape Girardeau pulling a 30 foot travel trailer when the radiator developed a significant leak. We were able to limp into the RV Camp ground on Friday night. I very little hope of getting someone to make the repairs and get back on the road before Tuesday. I began looking for a mechanic Saturday morning. Plaza was recommended by my daughter-in-law. "It's a tire store," she said; "but they have done some work on my car." Plaza was less than a mile from the campground. So, I called them. I told Glenn about my situation and he said they might be able to complete the job that day. I was shocked and pleased, that we might be able to head back home on Monday, as planned. I was expecting to hear that the radiator would be ordered and arrive Monday. No service was performed. Tried telling me that my wheels were too small for the truck. The wheels are the same size as the stock wheels that came on the the truck and they have only been on it for over 2 years. The problem was, a previous garage put too large of weights on and they interfered with the brake calipers causing the weights to get scraped off of the wheel. some weights apparently got caught between the caliper and the wheel leaving a rub mark on the wheel.

This week I spent $600 to have plaza replace plugs and boots in my pickup..this is what they recommended. My truck still has a n miss and they told me to get the timing belt looked at. I took my truck to a mechanic shop and was told that the wrong plugs were used...they had too much and wrong type of lubricant on them...and he wasn't even sure they had lifted the manifold because the seal looks old . My visit was to fix a flat tire. They fixed it. I wanted to buy a regular size tire to replace my small-size tire of RAV4. I asked for Michelin Primacy 225/65R/17, which Plaza Tire flier showed was available there. The clerk said that Michelin has discontinued Primacy tire! He offered another far more expensive tire. I checked around and also on the internet. It was available with every tire merchant in Cape Girardeau. I bought one with Walmart for 155 dollars. The question is: Why is this tire available everywhere else and not at Plaza Tire? Especially because their flier advertised it.

Had 4 new tires installed they didnt ask if i wanted nitrogen in tires they just did it. I change tire pressure in tires frequently acording to load dont want to go back every time to get replaced. Got home and noticed no valve covers on any tires went back to get installed, later in day was hooking up to trailer and checked tires they only had 35 lbs of pressure took back and told them they checked and said needed 70 lbs and that my sensor light would have never went off because pressure was to low for that truck. I went to have a stuck lugnut removed that another service provider could not remove to do service on my tires. It took the technician about 5 minutes total to move my vehicle inside the service bay, then remove the lugnut, which was rounded over. After talking with the service manager I inquired about purchasing a lugnut to replace. The technician had already removed my vehicle from the service bay. But he went and found a lug nut to replace the one he had removed. He walked out to where my vehicle was parked and reinstalled the lug nut. This week I hit a pothole on Kingshighway going south before you reach Plaza Tire. Heavy traffic no way to avoid it. When I hit the pothole it blowed my tire and knocked the front end alignment out. I could tell I needed to get off the road ASAP. I used Plaza Tire in the past several years ago - three cars back and I didn't think I would still be in their database, but I was so paperwork was a no brainer. I've always been well pleased with their service so I rolled into the lot, explained my problem and they worked me in immediately. Plaza assessed the situation and went through the options available to me with costs and time estimates to get me back on the road then waited for me to choose what option was best for me. Was told that a that needed fixed that had to be fixed was turn signal light and front tires needed replaced and the truck would pass inspection. Was told that the leaf spring bushings where a recommendation to fix. So did not. At this time fix leaf springs bushing but took care of everything else. I stopped in to get my tire pressure checked since it was in the single digits. The employee asked me to pull around front for a few minutes since it was too cold to check outside. He took my keys & after waiting for 25 minutes I asked another employee how long it would be, he said 45 minutes maybe longer. I left. Since moving back to Missouri last year every trip to Plaza Tire has been frustrating & disappointing. In Georgia I never had to wait 2 or more hours for a tire rotation & oil change, certainly not over 45 minutes for a tire pressure check!! I always see plenty of employees, but I'm not sure what exactly they are all doing?

While driving in the neighborhood, I picked up something in my tire - I could hear it as I drove. I pulled over, saw a steel rod "L" shape, sticking into my tire and laying back between the grooves on the tire.Tire was not leaking, so I drove slowly several blocks to Plaza Tire. I told the man at the counter what I had and he got the information needed from me. My wife and I have an account with Plaza. I left my car and called my wife to pick me up. Later that afternoon, I got a call that the tire was fixed. I went back, paid the bill, and picked up the car. I was pleased they got it done quickly and the cost was reasonable, especially since they could fix the tire. I appreciate the fact that they can do the little things well and not overcharge. The manager tried to explain to me that they could not have done it but eventually said they would make it right. I have not heard from them since. Still had a tire monitor light on when i left. I was told that if it didn't go off after driving to bring it back. Well i didn't so know i am going to have to take it back. Not a big deal but another 20 mile trip one way and wasted time again. The excuse i was given is that the one tech that has the equipment to relearn the new sensors that were installed wasn't working that day. Really? Sounds like to me it is a training issue for that facility Cant believe that a business as big as plaza tire is so limited to resources. Dissapointed to say the least.

I waited well over an hour for an inspection but the poor rating is that no staff is wearing a mask. It is mandated in Cape County. One customer came in with one and when he realized no one else was wearing one, he took his off. This Stage 4 cancer patient who recieves weekly chemo is not happy. Good service. But, I'm big on my warranties AKA product guarantees. I kept my tires rotated and balanced (for extra cost) in a timely manner. On my third rotation since purchasing the tires, I'm told that they need to be replaced. It wasn't a huge surprise, but of course the tread of the tire, conveniently ISN'T part of the tire warranty. I shopped around for both, price and warranty. I found the best warranty option at Plaza, although it cost a little more than another place. But, the warranty/guarantee was the deciding factor, with my present set of tires. It's a fact, that Dodge Caliber(s) are known for being hard on tires. But, I purchase the the type of tires that are supposed to be on my vehicle, per the manufacturer. Perhaps I'm just naive to expect a full warranty of ANY product. But I guess, I learn with my experiences, instead of expecting to get ALL of WHAT I paid for... ??????

I had my vehicle inspected and needed a driver side headlight assembly for my 2008 ford focus see. The total bill came to 550.00. I was under time constraints and did not research the part before buying. That was my fault. You charged me 400 for the same keystone platinum plus part I could have gotten for about 175. On too of that your labor charge for a full hour of 125 for something that took maybe 30 mins. I understand you have to make money but this was a absorbent. I had decided to use you guys for oil changes which I had just had the Saturday prior. My family has 2 other vehicles they were going to have serviced there. We will no longer do any business with plaza tire. I truly feel my need to pass inspection was taken advantage of with your pricing. Live and learn.

Went in for an oil change and alignment. They did what they needed to, but said the pins in my brake pads wore into my rotors and I needed new rotors, pads, calipers, and a brake line flush, all on a rather new and taken care of car. Quoted me $600 for the job. I got a second opinion because my rotors are like brand new, I needed new brake pads on one side, I knew, but the rest wasn’t right. They not only were charging me 3 times the amount for parts, but lied about needing new rotors, calipers, changing all brake pads, and a brake line flush. I got the front pads changed, which was all that needed to be done, and a cabin air filter, for $41. My cousin cleaned the calipers and put the new pads on in 20-30 minutes. My mechanic friends said “it’s because you’re a woman”. Always knew that was a thing, but nice to see it in action. Outstanding work boys.

If you’ve heard it once, you’ve heard it a thousand times: “it wasn’t making that noise before I brought it in.” I have a 2015 Chrysler 200 with 100K miles. Brought it in for an oil change and now it makes a noise like there’s a hole in the muffler. Or maybe a belt issue. Either way, it’s very noticeable and was certainly not making that noise the morning I dropped it off. I’ve been told there’s nothing that can be done. That is incorrect. This can be fixed one way or another. But not by plaza tire. They gave up on me.

I arrived without an appointment and they were able to get my car right in for a new set of tires. During the installation it was apparent that I needed new brakes and rotors which they were able to do as well. Since my wait was going to take longer they arranged for a ride back to my office so I could be working while they took care of my car. Getting my service done with everything was great. However, when I went to my car to leave I had a puncture hole in my driver seat on my new 2019 Mazda CX 5. I also had grease in my car on the back of the seat. I talked to the manager and he apologized about the hole and said he will find upholstery shop and have it fixed. Which I appreciate. However I am concerned the fix would be a patch and you will be able to see it. If that is the case I feel a new seat is warranted. Glen is an amazing manager and he has made me feel confident that my seat will be fixed. He contacted a local Upholstery Store who will be doing the work to fix my seat. It will not be a patch job. They will replace the entire fabric and you will not be able to see anything was wrong. Glen said if the fix is not to my liking he will fix it till I am satisfied. My daughter had called this location to make an appointment to get new tires installed on her car. She was given an appointment time. When she showed up for her appointment, she was told that she didn't have an appointment and she'd have to wait over an hour. My parents picked her up from Plaza Tire and she waited at their house. Everyone was great to deal with. The only problem I had was that my truck had grease all over the hood, grill, and fenders. I understand a little grease, but this was beyond that. There were also a couple of other things that were off. Just for one example, my tires were rotated and balanced, but each tire had a different air pressure in them. Not a big deal, but made wonder about the attention to detail or was it just sloppy work. With that, it made me wonder how the rest of the service was attended to. I took my Jeep there to get a state inspection necessary to renew lic. plates. I left it around noon and was told they were about 1.5 hour behind. At 5pm when I returned the car had not been inspected nor was it in the shop to be inspected. I got my keys back and looked for another servicer but it was too late in the day. The nest day unable to find anyone available I called and ask if they would give me an appointment for early the next morning. Then when I arrived they told me they didn't make appointments. I ask if I could leave it overnight so they could get it in first thing in the morning. They said OK. So I left the car and had someone pick me up. Before I got home they called and told me they had taken a look at the car and it had not passed the inspection. Repairs would be very expensive something to do with the brake system. I haven't had the car re-inspected somewhere else yet but I will at my next availability. Me and my children have done business with Plaza since 1982 and in the last decade we have noticed a continual decline in service. You never know which Plaza your gonna get when you go in. Sad! And dumb of us to keep going back. Live and learn I guess. UPDATE 2/28/20: I had my Jeep inspected at another certified inspection station and it passed.

I took my car to Plaza Tire because I am new to Cape and unsure of a good reliable repair shop. I was referred to Plaza Tire as “the repair shop in town if it needs it they recommend repair”. That is the kind of shop I am in need of! I explained why I was there. I needed an inspection to ensure that I will be selling a good running car without any problems. I was advised because I was new to the state my car not being 10 years old that I did not need a full inspection. It is not about getting registered it was about knowing I am not selling a lemon! Most people do not care what they sell! I do I try to build good life long relationships! I am only selling my car as I do not have use for it. I am thankful for the Full state inspection but I would have liked to have received a copy of everything that was inspected. That was refused. Left my car and the keys at 12:30 to have my car inspected. Gave Plaza tire my cell phone number so they could call me when my vehicle was ready. Told them to call me on my cell because I would not be home. At 2:19 they call my home phone and leave a message. I called Plaza tire at 4 to see if my vehicle was finished. That was an hour and a half I could have been doing something else. A persons time is not to be wasted. This is the only complaint I have from my visit.

Plaza tire told me my tire couldn't be fixed I had to buy a new one. $159, also I had another tire that had a nail that could be repaired. I asked them to repair that tire and put my spair on in place of the other one. The charged me $40. I went to walmart and there technician told me something quite the opposite. Walmart patched/plugged my tire $17. I have been driving on it for weeks with no issue what so ever. With all this craziness of the covid19 I was shocked plaza tire charged so much for so little and tried (in my opinion) to sell me a new tire when I didn't need it. I will avoid place tire at every opportunity and highly suggest everyone does the same.

I chose to have 4 tires put on my car. Also a alignment was in order. The special buy 3 and get one free was a nice incentive to purchase a complete set. After purchase I was shown the benefits of the purchase, roadside assistance, rotation of tires. So I believe I made the right choice. My wife went to this Plaza Tire to receive an alignment following a front and rear strut replacement on the CRV. We purchased Lifetime Rotate and Balance on all four tires, and we decided to also purchase Lifetime Alignment day-of. When she scheduled the alignment and upon arrival, she requested her Lifetime Rotate and Balance service to go along with the alignment. She was told by a mechanic on site, "You don't need that." Then, they proceeded to sell her a Lifetime alignment package, complete the alignment without completing the requested Lifetime Rotate and Balance, and sent her on her way. Once I talked with my wife that night after work to ask how everything went (as she had to take time off of her job to complete the service) she informed me of what she was told. I was furious. Why was she denied the service that we paid for? We just had all four struts replaced on the vehicle, which has been operated on sub-par suspension over gravel roads since the new tires were purchased. She stopped me from calling the manager (probably a wise choice) and decided to do this herself that night to inquire why she was denied service. I wanted her to ask for a refund for the Lifetime Rotate and Balance and Lifetime Alignment packages, as apparently these programs are not honored. The manager instructed her to come back the next morning to complete the rotate and balance (yet again missing work time). Why was she forced to come back again? Why was our Lifetime products not honored in the first place? There is no excuse for this, and it cost us more money for missed work time to come back to have a service performed that should have been performed during the first visit. I am not happy.

I was disappointed in this visit. I went in to have the tires checked because of a low tire pressure warning light. They checked the tires, I paid the $20 fee, and I was told the car would be ready when they reset the sensors. However, an employee came out and said a sensor was bad, and it would be $70 to replace it. I had the sensor replaced, and as I was leaving the employee said expect the other tire sensors to fail soon because they are the same age. What irritates me the most is I had paid the original fee and told the car would be ready; however, there were $70 in unexpected, additional charges.

1. I had wheel alignment done on my Toyota Previa. Charged 149.99, which is more than twice what others in town charge. 2. I took my 2004 Camry for oil change and tire rotation. As I had bought the tires from Plaza, they did tire rotation for free. However, when I asked them to check the front brake pads, they said OK and charged me $20 for checking the front brake pads. The tires were already removed and all it took was for the mechanic to just look at the brake pads. Well, they wanted to make a buck just for looking at them. I paid without complaining, but it left me with a little bad taste in the mouth. 3. I wanted to buy new tires. Quote for 4 Michelin Premier tires was over 200 dollars higher than Sam's. I have no doubt that Plaza Tires does a good job repair-wise, but they need to know that winning customers requires more than just fixing cars. Fairness is essential.

5 stars so far. The tires I bought were fantastic in the recent snow and ice. I've had problems in the past with another brand of tires from Plaza that kept losing air, so that is why I said so far. If they begin losing air then that might change. Jeremy, I think that was his name, was fantastic and suggested great tires. I haven't driven in snow in years, so I was more than a little concerned, but the tires were really good at gripping the road. I didn't know what to ask for, but his suggestion was spot on.
