We had two doctor appointments for my husband, who was preparing for a total right hip replacement. After the first appt., one of my rear tires was almost flat. Whipped into Plaza Tire and the manager got us in quick, and as a priority! Then, after the repair was made, the manager there told us it was "on the house"! We were totally shocked by this, as we have never had something like this happen. What an awesome manager there and quick service!!! We hope you, sir, are blessed by your good deed....we greatly appreciated it!!!

My car had a horrible noise when braking. The technician team had to diagnose the problem, parking brake shoes came loose and were scraping on the motors. Got the necessary parts ordered, repaired everything, made my oil change and changed my air filters and now I am back on road like never before. Thanks to the care team.

I made an appointment to get 4 tires for my car and an alignment check. It took 2 hours langer than they said it would. One of the lug nut studs was broken. They said it happened somewhere else, but now one of the lug nuts on that tire does not match the others. That seems mysterious. When it was finally done, the guy at the desk lied about the alignment. He told me that they had checked the alignment and it was all within the specs. I asked to see the printout that I usually get when I have the alignment checked at Plaza. He said they didn't print one up , but they could "check it again." They checked it, and it was way out of alignment. I guess he didn't want to do the alignment. He told me a story about how it couldn't be aligned, but the tires would not wear unevenly. When I got home, I look at the emailed report. It said the old tires were wearing on the inside and that an alignment was suggested. I knew the guy was lying to me about the alignment, but had been there all afternoon and wanted to leave. Also, I didn't trust him to get it aligned anyway. I will get the car aligned somewhere else. Needless to say, I'm not going back to that shop.

After my tire purchase, I immediately left for a long road trip. There was a slight vibration at highway speeds, so I took my truck back after the trip to have the balancing checked. I needed an oil change and tire rotation. I made the appointment online which was very easy and convenient. There was a parade happening at the same time as my appointment, which made getting to the location slightly trickier, but the staff was helpful and attentive. They kept me informed of how long my appointment would take, allowing me to use my time effectively and they called me appropriately to let me know when to arrive back to pick up my car. While there they inspected my brakes (which where in need of being replaced, but I hadn't noticed yet and I am about to go on a road trip!) and completed my free alignment (I bought the extended package when I got my tires from Plaza). Very happy with the results!

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The assistant manager Coire at Downtown Plaza Tire alerted me to the fact I needed a suspension ball joint replaced. I informed them that my car had recently been in an accident and was supposed to have had the whole suspension system replaced. They suggested contacting the place where my insurance co had the work done because there should be a warranty on those parts and labor. Sure enough, the other mechanic company ended up replacing the suspension ball joint now at no cost. Thank you Plaza Tire for keeping me safe and saving me money!!

Normally walking into a PT totally wrecks my day. The whole if you want it "then too bad you'll just have to sit and wait until we can get around to it" attitude paired with "my other job is smoking pot bumper sticker attitude", is what normally makes PT the slum lord of the tire industry. This time, my experience was so far departed from the usual atmosphere and town horror stories, I wondered if PT Corp put customer experience motivated leadership in place. Way too soon to tell if those previous stains will wash out of my white t-shirt cleanly. Possibly attributed to an empty lobby when I came in to look at and order tires but I was treated like my tire guy Mike at Firestone treats me; like they want me to have a good purchase, not sit down and take what you're given kind of purchase. This time I didn't leave feeling like you raised my rent just in time for December. There were 2 occassions when the guys at this shop showed up on the positive side of the radar, (1) When I called to give them an ETA after a few delays, I felt like I was going to get a bay no matter when I pulled in (2) Local Toyota stole my lug key, the PT team worked some magic without looking for an excuse to get out of completing the job. They presented a viable solution to the problem and not just pose a problem with no fix. I occassionally need implement & trailer flats repaired, so time will tell if PT finally cleaned house and built around customer retention. My hope is that PT washes off the 2 a.m. Wal-Mart stench and functions more like small town full service.

Despite the fact that I had always previously received a "real" oil change, this time the technician decided to give me a synthetic oil change without first verifying it with me. I was appreciative that they were able to fit me in for an oil change. However, they never called me to tell me the car was ready and if a co-worker had not taken me there at 5:15 PM for me to wait for it, I would have stayed without a car that day as they close at 5:30 PM. The inside of the car smelled like oil, and it is not easy to take my car key out of the ignition ever since. I feel some resistance when I insert the key and then it gets a little stuck when taking it out. at one point it took me 10 seconds to be able to remove the key.

Because my vehicle has two different size tires in front and back I have to always call ahead to make sure the sizes I need are in stock for service. When I called I was misquoted price as they pulled up the incorrect sizes. It wasn’t until I dropped my vehicle off for the full day that they found this error. This ultimately left me charging over 600 dollars the day of to get tires installed. (Original quote 390). After having over 20 tires installed by plaza tire service I learned to call ahead to make sure things like this don’t happen. Will use a different location next time.

I always love the work done and the employees. I only had one thing this time that I would ask for improvement on. I was informed of some things to have done and one of them was something I believed had been done already but I was at work and unable to check my invoices from the past 2 years. As I understand it not all the visits and work done on my van were showing up in your system. I would have hope everything would be there for both the mechanics and myself to have a timeline for repairs, maintenance and any warranty info. There was a recent change to management and he is very nice but wasn't aware of all the work previously done on my vehicle. Maybe you had a software upgrade or something. I just may not have had one of the services done at this time had the records been up to date in the system. After calling 3 other tire shops, I thought I was out of luck, until I reached Plaza Tire Service. He said bring it in, even though they closed at 1pm. I arrived around 11 and dropped my suburban off to them. After just a few minutes, he had a quote to replace the bearing. HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Claimed the fuel injector was ruined and needed to be replaced when they started the car because it was dropped off with no gas. “Bone dry” is how they described it, and charged for many additional services to fix the issue. I have a receipt from a gas station several days earlier when I filled the tank and hardly drove it since. They warned when I picked up the car I would have very little gas except for what they put in and would need to visit the gas station immediately. When I picked up the car, the tank was very nearly full, as full as I would have expected. I went straight to the gas station and could only put ~$7 in, and the receipt didn’t list the gas they apparently put in. When called for an explanation, they insisted I was lying about there being gas in the car when worked on and when picked up. This is blatantly unethical, and frankly unbelievable. Created a lot of pain and frustration in my family. I would never, ever recommend anyone ever bring their car here.

This recent visit I went in because my car battery had died in the parking garage. The gentleman who helped me walked up with me and jumped it for me. The staff as always is courteous and professional. They performed a state inspection and an over all summer checkup and fluid change. As a bonus, they also installed an after market bug shield I bought on the front hood at no extra cost. Parking is easy, as well as handicapped accessible. There's a unisex restroom in the waiting area and both are clean and tidy. They normally give out free water and have vending machines, but had to discontinue the water for pandemic concerns. We took our car for a wheel alignment and rotatiion. This is part of a free tire rotation every 5-6 thousand miles because we bought our tires from them, and part of an extended alignment service that we bought for a little more than the price of two wheel alignments. Next time we'll be ahead on the price for the wheel alignments. The wheel alignments can be done every 6000 miles or twice during a year. I've found that it needs an alignment before I recognize it from the behavior of the car, so I expect my tires will last much longer. I needed to winterize my old truck and replace some headlight bulbs / assemblies. I've been going to Plaza Tire on Broadway for about 18 months now for the usual oil changes, tire pressure, and more recently struts and shocks replacement, belt replacement, wheel alignment, spark plugs, and I'm sorry to say I will not be going back. Straight after an oil change 12 months ago, the car was leaking oil in my garage, and I had to bring it back to them. This time with struts and shocks replacement, I had to bring it back because the same squeaking and rattling noise was there even after replacement. Turns out the part they put in was defective on the front passenger side. The road rumbling sound seems to have improved a little in the front passenger side after I brought it back to them, but the back is still loud. So I have to call back to ask what they actually did to check the back the second time round. I'm really disappointed to have paid $1000 and not have peace of mind of quality work.

They also chased down three separate mechanical issues I had questions about and were able to provide concise explanations for each. One of which, a failed daytime running light, they suggested I actually purchase externally and bring to them to install, as the cost from a third party vendor would be significantly less then from the Chevrolet manufacturer that Plaza would use. We take our vehicles there, the Hondas oil plug had come off and leaked it's oil,we had it towed there through our auto insurance. They took it in and would replace the plug and add oil, then go from there. Luckily it wasn't driver very far a few miles, the truck was ok. We had discussed other maintenance issues a few weeks ago, so we had them done. All in all it was a sizable amount of work and they were able to get it all done in one day, that's pretty awesome. How the bolt came off, I don't know, but we're glad it all went well. Will we continue to be a customer, yes, they are professionals, polite and most importantly, we trust them.

I brought my car into Plaza Tire on Broadway to have 2 tires replaced in the rear and when I picked my car up it was shaking and making a sound that it was not making prior to this. I brought my car back in and told them what was going on. They stated that they removed and re-balanced the rear tires and it was continuing to have the issue but wasn't a tire problem. When I arrived home, my neighbor who knows a lot about cars said to me, "it sounds like your car has an exhaust issue." I told him what happened with Plaza Tire and he looked my car over and showed me where my exhaust on the back passenger side was broke and had almost completely fell off. I had to get it welded back together the following day, which costed me more money and a day off from work with no pay! I would not recommend Plaza Tire to anyone!

Bought new tires a few weeks ago and after that got steering wheel vibration. Took it back and they rotated/rebalanced the tires with no improvement. Finally took the car to Subaru and they tell me the wheels were over-torqued by more than 50% and they have to re-do the alignment. It was just looked at around noon, and had a new battery installed and left about 2 pm! Not very happy about wasting 6 hrs for a battery! Then, I went to get some lunch, and the Service Battery Charging System light came on, so took it back in. Was told it was alternator and would take another four hours to install. Picked up fixed vehicle at noon the next day, total cost around $800. Wish I had known all that when I brought it in.

I went in for an oil change and left with new oil and 2 new sets of rotars and pads! I’m not excited about having to replace those since my Jeep is only 3 years old, but the rotars were BAD and needed to be replaced. If I trust anyone with my vehicle, it is Sam and Tom. Tom recommended I replace them because grinding them would probably make them too thin and cause them to warp! I do have to admit, the Jeep stops better now! I’ll never take my Jeep anywhere else! Plaza is great. I went in for an inspection and found out what I needed. They installed a sway bar and outer tie rod for me and referred me somewhere else for my exhaust work. When I had the exhaust looked at, the muffler man told me the sway bar was improperly installed. Went back to Plaza for the reinspection and informed them. He said, "obviously we want to make things right." That's not the case everywhere but they stand by their work and will fix any mistakes.
