I expected it would take one hour or two hours as usual in other shops, but, it was super fast, and it only took 30 minutes after I registered at the desk. This was my first visit to a Plaza Tire store especially at this location. At first I wasn't impressed, Think in walked in at a busy time and didn't feel I received the welcome I should. Subsequently, on returns I received very nice customer service. Work on car seems very good, I bought two tires and they seem good on the car. I did ask for the one good removed tire to be saved and didn't realize it was not in My trunk till I reached home and opened the trunk to store it. I didn't return to try to retrieve it.

I am a 100% disabled veteran and was not given a veterans discount. Thought my hat set veteran, my truck said veteran in several places one of which said disabled veterans of America. Then when I inquired was told that I needed to say something before hand and that it was just to much effort to cancel the sale and bill me again but for the correct amount. I have choose Plaza for quality and service coupled with the respect the discount showed, but will not be back now with any of my families vehicles.

After replacing the front upper control arms and struts with specialty aftermarket parts, I took my Jeep to Plaza for an alignment, since I had bought their lifetime alignment service. The alignment would have been way off because of the new control arms and an approximate 1" lift from the new coilovers, affecting the toe in and camber at the least. I picked the vehicle up after the service and immediately had to turn around because of a noticeable lack of power, the front end was making a loud howling noise at speeds over 10mph, and the steering was extremely unstable. They obviously didn't drive it after the service, or worse, they did and decided to give it back to me anyways. The next morning they called and told me they "got the toe-in in the green" after spending a lot of time heating and adjusting the tie rod ends to loosen them up, as though they did me some kind of favor. News flash, when you are an auto shop, you should expect to encounter corroded parts, frozen bolts and nuts, and all manner of unexpected things. That's what customers pay you to deal with. When I went to pick it up, the service manager proceeded to argue with me that the howling wasn't caused by them since an alignment cannot affect rotating parts, which is of course total BS since the purpose of an alignment is to ensure proper geometry of the rotating masses (i.e. the tires and wheels) to the direction of travel. It literally has no other purpose. An out of alignment front end can cause serious safety concerns with regards to steering as well as premature wear on tires and bearings. It was pointless to argue with the service manager since I'm just a dumb ass customer and this guy obviously knows what he's talking about (sarcasm). I asked for the alignment sheet as I left and sure enough the toe in was measured out of spec that morning (after the first alignment was supposedly done and before the second alignment). And not just a little out of spec, but by almost 7 degrees! Spec is 0.2 degrees, for future reference. How this shop could have returned any vehicle to a customer with such a drastically out of alignment toe in is beyond me, especially because that was the specific reason I took it there to begin with. It was irresponsible, dangerous, and lazy, and I could have easily crashed with my young child in the back seat had I attempted to drive this home on the highway. I will never take my vehicle to a Plaza Tire again for any reason, and I have told all of my friends and family this story and advised them to take their vehicles anywhere but Plaza if they value their lives.

The tire pressure light came on in my car, so I stopped at Plaza tire to have the tire pressure checked. The young man at the counter just asked me to pull the car around to one of the bays, and another guy aired them up and mentioned the tires were 8 years old, and really worn. I dropped my car off at 7:30am for an oil change & to look at what was causing the shacking in my breaks. After not hearing from them for a few hours, I called around 12:30pm to get an update on my car. I was told that it was just then getting pulled into the garage & that someone would call me back with a diagnosis. about 20 minutes later, I was contacted by the supervisor who informed that my rotors were warped & needed to be replaced. He said that because I received the parts & warranty for a different store, that I had to take my car back to that store to have repairs done. He said that the parts store doesn't let them transfer warranties. Due to the short period of time it took them to diagnose the issue, I'm sure they didn't do any further investigating outside of driving it around the block. He never told me what rotors were warped. I took my car to the Broadway location to have my repairs done. After replacing both back rotors, they determined the issue was still not resolved & replaced all 4 brake pads & rotors, covered by warranty. The Grindstone Plaza location had my car for over 8 hours & did the absolute bare minimum to service my vehicle. Because of this, I wasted an entire day 6/22 while my car was at the shop not getting worked on AND half a day of work the following day to go to a completely different store to get my car serviced. Lazy individuals that refuse to do the work that they're getting paid for. I will not be going back to that location.

The only negative thing I would have to say is they put my newer tire up front. One of the tires I bought as a set had to be replaced because it was faulty therefore it had significantly more tread on it than the other three. My car is a front wheel drive and when they rotated my tires the newer one was rotated to the front and now makes noise and will wear faster due to imbalance of tread depth and this will make it harder to control the vehicle. When I mentioned it they said it didn’t matter, but I have always been told it does matter. I’m not a mechanic but it’s an honest review.

I came in to purchase 4 new tires and an oil change for my all terrain vehicle. I arrived with an online tire quote and a Birthday $25 discount card. I was debating between two brands of tires. Overall, the visit was a good one. The tires we purchased are preforming very well. The only thing I would have like to have happen differently is for all of the potential charges to be detailed from the beginning. After having the vehicle taken in for new tires I was told that the alignment was off and I could choose to have them align the vehicle one time for $99.00 or for the life of the vehicle for $149.00. It was my mistake for not asking up front but having the car up on the lift and then being told about the additional charge after inspection took away from the overall customer experience.

1. Not friendly customer service. 2. Chris told me that the warehouse sent wrong item so it would be a few days before my car would be ready which was no big deal. The next day I called to see if they had a better idea of how many days it would be so I could borrow a car from a friend. When I called, Randy said Chris was wrong and they did have the part and my car would be ready that afternoon. Then, an hour after I spoke to Randy, Chris called me and said Randy was wrong that they were in fact, sent the wrong part. Too much confusion. 3. Was charged $150 for an alignment. I told Chris I had unlimited alignments as I paid the one time fee. He was hateful and said “well is that even the same car you bought unlimited alignments on?” I said, “yes” and he pulled up my account and saw that I was correct. He didn’t speak another word to me but refunded the $150.

Even though I have been going to Plaza Tire for so long, the main thing that bugs me is that I had to have a caliper replaced on my vehicle. In order to save people some money, you would think that they would have replaced the caliper with a comparable set, which they did, however, THEY also chose the most expensive caliper there was to offer, which cost $168.00 when they could have went with one that was way less and would have performed just as good, if not better.

I'll never go back! My wheel sensors were damaged on my last visit causing problems within 30 mìles down the highway. Not only did I have to replace the wheel sensors they damaged but also had have the codes reset on my Subaru. It took me a couple of weeks take care of their obvious mistake and correct it. This was very inconvenient and careless on them. Expensive for me sense I had already paid for the tire rotation and alignment if needed. BTW, TPMS is first on the maintenance list of theirs, but they did want to bother me with that info. The light for had been on in the car since I got it. It took me asking about those sensors for them to even let me know they're were none, explaining the light on. Not once was it ever brought to my attention, not when I had new tires put on,not when I had the brakes done. And I've probably been in a couple of other times. Good Bye Plaza

When you get a state required inspection on an older car, you are nervous the shop will find random "problems" to drum up income, just because the inspection itself isn't an profitable enterprise for the business in its own. But I've always found this Plaza Tire to be totally honest and awesome with our older vehicles. Due to this, we'll be loyal customers for any car need we have. It's hard to find a shop we trust. Service was good and fairly quick. A better explanation of the "extra charges" should have been made. I should have checked the bill more closely at time of payment. I was charged for a Nitrogen fill. I do not recall being asked if I wanted Nitrogen in the tires and more importantly, the cost. Nitrogen is slightly lighter than Oxygen so I would NOT have spent an extra $20 on the set. To me Nitrogen fill is a rip off. I vaguely remember asking about the Tire Protection Plan but do not recall that it costs around $10 per tire. Would have been nice to know the cost up front. I still would have had it included. Just a heads up on the cost would have been nice. Ditto on the Lifetime wheel balance. I am sure I was NOT told that this "PLAN" carried $59.96 premium. This one is surely an add on for profit. John

Plaza Tire on Grindstone used to be my go to place for oil changes, alignments, and minor repairs. Their service has slipped significantly since they first opened. I purchased a lifetime alignment package for my car and when I picked it up they said no alignment was necessary. I asked to see the alignment check paperwork, but they didn't have it because the printer was out of ink. After I stated that it had been pulling to the right, another employee said that in fact the alignment had been done, but once again no proof since the printer was out of ink. about 75% of the time I take one of my three cars in for oil change, rotation and balance, and alignments, they recommend that I replace tie rods or axels. When I tell them no then take it to an independent repair shop, only once have they agreed that a repair was necessary. I previously had this problem wit Big O and stopped taking my car there and started taking them to Plaza. I do not allow Plaza to do anything other than oil changes, rotation and balance, and alignments now. If I hadn't already paid for lifetime alignments on my three cars, I would probably look to take them elsewhere.

Had an appointment for 9:00 am to get the oil changed & tires rotated. I dropped it off at around 8:45. Went and did some shopping got breakfast at 11;30 called to see if it was done and was told they hadn't started on it yet. If I gave them 30 minutes it would be done. When I got there was still not done. I sent my ride home and waited on them to finish. He gave me $25.00 off for not getting it done. Got done at 12:30 longer then 30 minutes. I had to go get some cold stuff at the grocery store and I noticed after I was done. That the same muddy tire was still in the same place as when I took it in. So I had to go back over with about $50.00 of cold food in the car. I was not a happy camper. Then I ask what else did they not do? Was told we did everything else. But could not or would not prove to me what they had done. How do I know that the work was done? So if you have work done at this plaza tire you should stay and watch them from the waiting room to make sure things get done. They ended up refunding my money. For something that should not have happened. Sorry Chris Bennett

My brake calipers locked up on the rotor so I needed them fixed asap! Luckily, not only is plaza tires on grindstone close to me but they are awesome and fast. The work on the driving rods and breaks seems fine. However, we got 4 hours down the road and the engine power cut out. Pulled over, and realized that the coolant had not been filled! Had to buy coolant at a gas station and fill it up. It was fine for the rest of the drive across country. Either the mechanics have no IDEA as to how to fix the issue or they are simply taking me for a ride. I'm leaning towards the second option. It's just a simple model. Not a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Just a HONDA CAR. Now I'm stuck with worthless warranties and still dealing with the unsolved issue. Would I recommend Tire Plaza to anyone. Absolutely NOT. The service at Plaza Tire was excellent. I was able to get in early to remove a nail from my tire. The process went smoothly and I was on my way very quickly. I appreciated the one on one service and having a nice place to wait while the work was being done.

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable, very accommodating in scheduling. Our granddaughter attends Mizzou and also works and they worked her car in on her schedule and worked with us to keep us informed of problems with car. I had several conversations with the mechanics and they were all very nice. I would highly recommend this business!!!!!
