I had new tires and an alignment. I went to Plaza originally due to the courteous service shown to my wife when she had a tire problem. That same service was extended to me. Did not try to oversell. I also watched the man doing the alignment work on my pickup truck. He wrestled with the alignment until he got it right and not just close. My father was a mechanic, so I have learned to see when a man takes pride in his work and when it done to just get by and get the job out of the stall. This individual did it right.

I had a tire going flat on my way home from taking my daughter to cheer practice. Once I saw the tire pressure light come on, I headed to my local Plaza Tire in DeSoto. They were pretty busy, but were able to work me in, and had my tire fixed and ready to go within a couple of hours. They checked the pressure in my other tires and aired them up, if needed. I was the second person in the door at 7:30 when they opened the doors because they do tires on a first come first serve basis was purchasing two tires and it took them almost two hours to get done then the next morning I get in the car to go to work and brand new tire is flat spray tire down with soapy water and find that. They either installed a faulty schraider valve or damaged it putting it in this is not the first time I have had issues like this and I think I’m about done using plaza tire.

I got home to find my tire deflating air quickly. Got my spare tire on and got it to Plaza since I had purchased my tires there. I didn’t expect them to get it in right away but they did. I was in and out in 45 minutes, problem resolved and everyone being kind and friendly.

My truck needed an oil change. I was able to schedule and it was done. No drips, no leaks, no spills.

I came in for an emissions inspection, but my car was unable to be read. Techs gave their best effort and everyone was nice enough. Just wish we could’ve gotten a read and that I hadn’t wasted my time or theirs! Normally, I never have any problems with this store and they always do a good job on repairs. I’d recommend them for pretty much any other service.

Charles, the manager has always been a help. He goes out of his way to help, and is very knowledgeable. I have been going to Plaza Tire for 20 years. The only thing that this, DeSoto, store needs is more bays. The wait time for service, is sometimes long, due to the lack of service bays. They have room to expand, so CEO of Plaza read comments. The service crew know their job and are quick to diagnose the problems of your vehicle.

I got to their shop close to time for them to close. I thought I just had low tire pressure because the weather was changing & the temps had dropped significantly. They found a nail in my tire & it was too close to the sidewall to be fixed so I was going to have to get another tire. They made me a good deal on another set, installed them & I was on my way. They were friendly, courteous & although they were working past closing, they didn’t rush me through. They were thorough & I doubt I’ll ever buy tires anywhere else. All in all a great place to take your vehicle for tires or services.

My dash board message center kept alternating between low left front tire, low right front, left rear, right rear etc. I did not think all four tires could all go low at the same time so it had to be an electrical problem. I stopped in at Plaza and asked them to take a look. turned out it was 4 low tires. they filled them and sent me on my way-no charge. this is the kind of service that keeps me going back to them when something is awry.

Not to impressed with the front counter person that day. I believe his name was Jeff. Just had tires rotated, but he did not gave me any feedback on tire wear etc. I was told the last time that i had the tires rotated that my lug nuts would probably need to be replaced, that was never discussed during this visit.

My car over heated so I added water and antifreeze, it ran ok for two days, overheated again. This was with only 80 mile trips. I needed an oil change so I ask the guys to check for my problem. It was the water pump. They replaced it, changed the oil replaced the cabin filter and showed me how dirty it was. They knew I lived in town and were surprised it was that dirty and wanted me to know. I explained the city had been digging up the street for two weeks. I like the way they show things that are not normal for my car. They offered to take me home while the car was being fixed because I am 80 years old but I need to walk Thank for having good people working in Desoto.

Made online appt for Tuesday on Saturday. When I got to my appt was told tires weren't there. Came back at 1 o'clock, tires had just came in. Then taking off the tires lug nuts were STRIPPED. Had to wait for new lugs to come in, about a 15 min longer wait. But it got done. When I got home noticed rear bumper and finder had been scraped and I'm thinking it happened when truck was backed out of bay. Didn't contact plaza over it because I believe they would say it didn't happen there although the truck went nowhere but home and there. Overall I was a little disappointed with my service, but I would still continue to use plaza tire. Charlie at the desk is pretty knowledgeable and worked with my pricing.

My only issue was the wait despite no other customers in the business. I was informed all people who repair tires and mechanics were all on lunch together, therefore, I had to wait over an hour for a single car tire repair and a garden mower tire repair. Sat around for 3 hours, got two new tires put on, 4 new tpms sensors, I then drove home and woke up the next morning to a ruined front tire. They didn’t synchronize my sensors due to their system not working, so tire probably lost most pressure on my way home without me knowing. Ruined a new tire brought it back in and they chalked it up to they didn’t know what it was. Took it to dobbs and they noticed that the tpms/valve stem wasn’t tight and was loose. After buying another tire and paying another 180 they fixed my problem and synched my sensors. I have always gone to plaza tire for everything and mostly good experiences. This made me very disappointed that they weren’t more proactive with the problem.

Our appointment was scheduled for 7:30am. We arrived 5 minutes early to ensure that we would be on time because we had a very schedule oriented day. Our vehicle was not pulled into the bay until 8:31am. Upon asking why we needed to be here at 7:30am when they were not going to get us in until 8:30 we were told, Sorry we had several mechanics who were late. etc. This is not the first time this has happened, however I have not documented it in the past. I will make sure that it is documented from now on. I am actively exploring other company's for tire service due to the frequency that this has occurred.

Technicians pulled old tire and wheels from truck, removed old tires, put new tires on rim's, balanced and remounted tires. Placed old used tires in my truck. Drove away and wheels have not come loose, tires have not deflated or inflated for that matter or fallen off the truck, so no suprises for me or the other drivers in the same area as I'm driving, which helps keep the insurance rates lower for all involved. I had an appointment at 3pm on Thursday July 15th to have my car checked out for noise and vibration. They asked if I wanted to wait while they looked at it but I declined and got a ride home, and thank goodness I did. Almost 3 1/2 hours later I received a call stating the only problem they could find was that I needed new tires and he suggested an alignment so I agreed to all of that and he said it would be finished the next morning. The following day I had not received a call that the car was finished so at 11:30 am I called to check on it. I spoke with Charles and he said the tires were done but they still had to do the alignment. I asked if it would be done by 4pm because that was the only time I could get a ride to pick it up and he assured me it would be finished. I arrived at 4 pm to find out they still didn't have the alignment done, the mechanic was working on a different car on the alignment rack and they still planned on doing an oil change for someone else before they could get to it. I was furious! They had my vehicle for over 24 hours to do tires and an alignment and couldn't get it done! Charles says they only have one mechanic working on Fridays....OK, so why are you taking so many appointments if there is no one there to do the work? And why wasn't my car, which was brought in on Thursday, finished before cars that came in on Friday? This is the second bad experience in a row that I have had at this location and I will not be going back.

Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time that was made three days in advance to get an emissions test that takes less than 15 minutes. I left without having the test on my vehicle, had other appointments scheduled for that day. It is unbelievable that this business would let a customer wait that amount of time and not say anything to him. I have been a long time customer at this location and have seen several managers go through. On May 1st I had my tires rotated. On June 1st I had a flat, my tire had belting coming out and it was splitting apart. The manager told me it was because I parked in the sun on gravel. It does that. In fact I parked on a concrete drive under a shade tree! I asked for an appointment time since I would need to find a ride. (Tire smells triggers my asthma I am.) He said no only first come first serve. So the next day I found a ride dropped it off at 11 and he called at 3 letting me know I needed an alignment also. $89 or $145 for forever alignment. I chose the $89. At 4 he called back it's done. I go he explained 2 tires were replaced and the forever alignment is done. I said no forever he said ok then. I got home a neighbor came over to check out my new tires and they had only replaced one. So back I went I gave him my paperwork yep it says 2 were replaced he said it was done. I asked him to come and look and sure enough it was not. He called the tech over and he knew nothing about 2 only 1. I could tell by the tech response he was truthful. The manager was not. He has the tech change my tire in the parking lot which I didn't think was very professional or safe. Years ago I had purchased these forever tires, as I was leaving his reply was well we don't make any money on those forever tires. I have always gone to Plaza Tire in De Soto, it is the only plaza tire location where I have received excellent service and honesty. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Ask for Charles the manager or Randy to look over your Vehicle you will not be disappointed. They do there best to be competitive in price but aren't always the cheapest but don't let that take you elsewhere. When I was young I made that mistake on breaks and some other things and I paid for it big time. They stand behind all there work and I have never had an issue.

I would have given 5 stars but I felt the work could have been completed safely in less time. And some of that time is the time it takes for the tech to turn in the key and paperwork. With Covid-19 and the need for social distancing, I would expect the company and employees to work to get the customer in and out as fast and safely as possible. I did however watch the tech take the car for a spin to reset the sensors and when he arrived back at the shop he didn't come directly back inside to drop off the paperwork and keys. In all fairness, I do not know what the tech was doing. But, however small and insignificant the time was, it would have been less time to be around other folks that may or may not have health issues.

Failed my safety inspection for brakes, torn wiper, overhead back taillight (which yeah needs a bulb) and a exhaust leak which I know is not a safety issue. The wiper is not torn and the brakes are within standard. They said it was below spec. I took it somewhere else and passed only thing I did was fix the back break light. They did the same thing on my last vehicle ended up spending a bunch of money. Told us tires needed to be replaced. That belts were bad in one. Had them replaced somewhere else. Mechanics said the tires were just fine. Also tried to have me sign up for credit card, by calling it a store card. Not a great practice. It should always be called a credit card, or you are going to scam someone.

Good customer service with friendly employees. Yet, I had a coupon for $25 off Smart Package. I was told, "Bring vehicle right now and we will look at it." I was there for 2 hours. I also believe that because I used a coupon they did not provide all the service the coupon read. Coupon said they were suppose to rotate tires and check air pressure of tires. This was not done because I checked the air in all tires that morning. One tire was "25". Upon arrival back home the same tire..still in the same place.. still reads "25". I also do not believe they "topped off most fluids" as the coupon read. I may be a female but I did check all my fluids that morning. Also upon arrival home, I rechecked the fluids and they all read the same besides one. The receipt says they charged me $3 for shop supplies. What was that for? No explanation of that.

The manager was very nice and helpful. They seem to be short on help. I went there 2 different times for a tire rotation; the first time 2 hour wait and the second time, a 3 hour wait. He told me that if I got there at 7:30, I would not have to wait as long. I got there at 7:20; so I only waited an hour.

Will be the last time I have bservice here. If it wasnt for getting free tire rotation I would have already changed. Moved here from O'Fallon, Mo and my husband and I always used Plaza for our services, including his company vehicle. This new management is the worse. Always short staffed, NEVER change the maintenance required after requesting and tires are not aired up to the correct amount. Have to take the vehicle home and you tube instructions on deleting maintenance required and taking aout overfilled tires. My husband has already started using Purcell and After the last visit, I will pay for tire rotation. Such a shame as Plaza has always been a great place with good customer service.

Got a quote online and told my preference for appointment. Person at Plaza called told me to bring in my vehicle anytime and they would take care of me. I originally went to Plaza Tire because my low tire pressure warning came on and I was on my way to Barnes Hospital to pick up a family member. The service manager immediately had a young man air up my tires and I was on my way very quickly. While airing up my tires the young man told me that I needed to start thinking about two new tires on the back. I did think about it all the way to St. Louis and all the way home. As I promised the young man, I did go back on the 14th and got the new tires as well as had my car serviced. I was glad to get both jobs done at the same time. The tire application went well.... While the car was there I received a phone call indicating there was a problem with some front suspension items. When asked if I wanted to have them replaced along with an alignment I said maybe another couple weeks. As I thought about this, having my old tires adjusted for premature wear, not noticing any wear which would be caused by front end related issues, cupping, feathering edges, ect. I had oil service secluded for the next day at the local dealer I asked of they would do a check for loose or bad suspension items. There report was nothing loose or excessive wear to indicate replacing. I hope this was a mistake........

MY nephew's car..he was here on way to moving to Wisconsin from New Mex..Noticed fluid leaking..called Plaza bright and early on New year's Eve..they have ALWAYS done right by me and my Toyota, and this was no different..They took the time to fit the mustang in and inspect and diagnose..Couldn't fix the issue 100% at the time, but was able to do a stop gap and reassure my nephew he would make it to his destination, using a little bit of constraint in driving LOL..Took about an hour from start to finish..And as usual, employees were all very happy and friendly, coffee was in the pot, water in the cooler and the place was super clean..This has been my go to shop since 2005..and will continue to be..
