My 2007 Malibu had a broken radiator hose which the mechanic replaced with a new one and filled the radiator with ant-freeze. He also changed my oil and filter all within three hours time. He did a great job.

Also was able to replace my TPS in each tire to solve my "Service Tire Pressure Monitor" warning on the dash.

Brought my car in for a set of replacement tires. Price and service was good. I was led to believe that the tire warranty was complimentary only to discover after reviewing my receipt that I was charged for the warranty without my consent.

I like Plaza Tire and usually get good service. This time I had difficulty in finding a time for the shop to change my oil. I finally just called and said I was bringing my car in the next day and leave it all day, and surely they could find some time during the day to get the oil changed. They also forgot to rotate my tires. Because of these things, I gave a “4” rating instead of “5”. John T.

Had issues with breaks grinding on rotor. They told me price of the issue being fixed within 10 mins. Plus gave me an estimate on replacing my all 4 sets of breaks and 4 rotors. They were honest with the time I had left with the others. They informed me they looked good but would need to replaced with in a year. I went ahead and had all 4 of them replaced. They had it done in a great time. It took longer for the parts to come in then to fix the issue. I highly recommend Plaza Tire Service 57.

It was the first time I had Plaza do my oil change, I always have them rotate and balance my tires. I waited while the work was done, and I don't think I was there 45 minutes before it was finished. The mechanic (Jacob) backed my car into a space so that I wouldn't have to back into traffic, and there was one of those paper floormats in my car. I haven't seen one of those in ages, it was nice to know they worried about getting my car messier. As to the question about shop amenities, I don't think that's an issue, I always have some water and something to read with me. I think the customer service and quality of work is more important than frou-frou coffee. The men there are always friendly and courteous, and Braden was no exception. It was a much better experience than I have had at the Ford dealership. I will continue to have my maintenance services done at Plaza.

They brought my lug nuts in to show me why they had to put new ones on. It was due to a defect common on Fords. They told me there was a "buy three, get one free" offer available. They were friendly and fun to talk to. I live half an hour away, so they told me to stop at the local tire shop and have them check the torque on the lug nuts for my safety. All of them were spot on. I ordered my tires online and had them delivered to the shop that was recommended. That shop gave me the runaround for a couple of days and I decided I was done. I called Plaza and they said they could get me in no problem and have my tires done by the end of the day. They got my van in right away and I was back on the road within an hour. The service was great, super friendly, super fast and the price was very reasonable (I think it was actually a little less than what I was going to have to pay at the other place). I am going to need tires on my other vehicle soon and they will definitely get my business again.

My tire light came on and I called them and relayed that the light was on and I wasnt sure if it was a sensor or a an issue with a tire. I told to bring my vehicle first thing in the morning as they were busy and could not get to it then. I bought 4 new Nokian One tires from Plaza tire in May. I was going on a 5,500 mile vacation in June/July. I somehow got a big Allen wrench in my ear tire. I had to drive 40 miles to get to a Nokian tire as the tire was ruined by the Allen wrench. Bought a new. Okian tire and came home. I went to my local plaza tire and they gave me a refund for the price I paid for the tire in Montana. I’m hoping to get my refund this week. I bought 4 Nokia’s One tires. I’ve only put a couple hundred miles on them, but I like them. They ride good for a H rated tire. Great smooth handling tire. I experienced helpful, friendly service and was contacted in a timely manner. Unfortunately I had to have a tire replaced, fortunately the insurance I purchased covered the cost of the new tire. When contacted, I was informed I owed $28.95 for mounting and balancing of the new tire. When I arrived to pick up the new tire I was told by a different employee that I owed $39.95. I explained the tires had been punched less than eight months ago and there was no way I had that much tread ware on a back tire of a front wheel drive vehicle. I had a nail in one tire. I had an appointment waited 1 hour before my car was pulled in. The tire after repair was over inflated 40 psi when it should’ve been 33 psi for a rear wheel. All the other tires were not at the proper inflation 31 to 32 psi. I had to stop at another place to have the air adjusted. Not sure why a tire store felt that was acceptable service. Very little seatings not 6 feet apart and no bench seat on the outside of the building where you could sit outside. We are in a pandemic and Covid virus is still here. This building’s waiting room is way too small it’s unclean and for the amount of clientele that they have I feel Plaza Tires Service this building doesn’t represent what the face of the company should be. I like this group of young Turks. They schedule well. They seem to know what they are doing. As usual I got a time for an oil change and tire rotation. They got me in and out in less than an hour. I usually walk the nearby greenway while they are working on the car and they are almost always finished by the time I get back. My one complaint is that they almost always forget something. Previously bought highest-rated Michelins (special-ordered) from this store. Salesperson confirmed they were great when I bought them 2 years ago. Tried a couple of times to get them rotated for free, but the couple of times I tried, they always said they were busy and that I had to make an appointment, so I stopped trying and paid for it to be done at Jiffy Lube. The expensive tires wore out after 2-3 years (way prematurely), so I came back for new tires and to make a warranty claim. They did not dispute the warranty claim and agreed to give me a good discount to buy the same tires again. However, this time they said the Michelins were junk and that I should buy the Nokian C/S (a little more expensive and no discount for the Michelin warranty). There are virtually no reviews of the Nokian online (but nothing clearly negative), so I went with their recommendation. Time will tell. The salesperson did what he was supposed to but I thought he was a little impolite about criticizing the Michelins they sold me 2 years prior. The installation (with different people there the following Monday) went smooth and quick. They did a great job on the alignment (the last one there 2-3 years ago was rushed and the steering wheel was out of line). But, like I think they did 2 years ago also, they did not put the tire key back in the glove compartment, so I had to make a separate trip back there for them to find it. (They left it under the hood near the windshield, fortunately it had not fallen out while I was driving). They were apologetic. Frankly, the only reason I go to this place is that I have a credit card for no interest purchase of the tires, though they also usually can get tires I am interested in. There's some room for improvement in this shop, I think. They always seem too busy and not enough staff and room to work. The guy in charge the day I had the tires installed was very professional, polite and helpful.

I have visited Plaza Tire many times and always been impressed at how courteous and polite their employees are on the phone or in person. I purchased my tires there at a great price a couple of years ago and am very satisfied with the rotation/balance service included in that price. This last visit, however, I was told I needed $900 in repairs. I believe that I did, in fact, need those repairs. The tire balancing (which was the reason I took the car in the first place) was not completed when my husband picked up the car. No one told us this, so when my teenage son brought the car home (25 miles), he could tell it did not drive any better. We had to return the car the next morning and wait for repairs. I needed to fly out that day from St. Louis. I did not feel confident about it, so I booked MO-X ($100) to take me from Columbia-STL. They fixed the car right way and did a nice job. It now drives like a Cadillac should. I drove it to Columbia and now feel confident again. This review is based on my total experience with PT; if not for this last situation, they would have earned 5 stars.

On Friday, July 5th, my husband took my van to have an alignment done. This initial visit was ok except the steering wheel was tilted slightly to the left. Not a huge deal, but for 3 years it had been tilted slightly right. The final results of the alignment showed all values in the green on this day. On July 6th, my husband was trying to be nice and have the steering wheel adjusted. Upon getting to the shop, he stood outside the door and watched them...before taking a picture and seeing where the values were, the mechanic adjusted the rear mechanisms. THEN, he took a picture and proceeded to adjust the front for the steering wheel. When he was finished, he said the bushing is froze up and this is the best I can do. First of all, if the bushing had been frozen, then why was the alignment all in the green just the day before. Secondly, the ending numbers for the second alignment are worse than when before they ever even started on the 5th. Will not be using Plaza tire again if it can be helped. And yes, we have the printouts from both visits.

Both times I asked them to check the tire pressure and refill if necessary and both times when I picked my car up my tire light was still on. I like these twenty-something guys, Joe and _____. They are unconventional. They call me "Boss." Is this an update on "dude?" I don't know their lingo but their service is good. They got me in and out on both of my cars on about 45 minutes. Told Joe I was taking a walk and I thought I would be gone no more than an hour. "It will be ready for you," he said. It was. Probably would have given 5 stars except they forgot sticker on one car. I also thought the $59.99 cost for a synthetic oil change was a bit over-priced.

On March 22 I took my car to Plaza Tire in Jefferson City to get the oil changed and have them check a check engine light on my car. Colby and the other person were very polite. I was told that I had a bad wheel bearing. I told them I recently hit a deer with my car and Colby said he could write a statement on my bill and I could ask insurance to pay for it. I asked a few times if my car was safe to drive and I was assured several times it was. The next week in March 26th I called my insurance company sent the info to them that Plaza gave me and they said I would hear from them. I called the insurance company back on Thursday and was told the claim was denied because Joe at Plaza told them they had NEVER seen my car. I called Plaza and talked to Joe and he denied ever saying this. I left to go out of town and received a call from our insurance company that I needed to take my car somewhere else to get it checked because for 1 Plaza said they can not fix wheel bearings and 2 if this was truly the problem I shouldn't be driving my car. At that time I was 2 and half hours a way from home with this car. On Friday I called Toyota in Jefferson City and took my car there when I returned home. They hooked it up to the machine, drove my car and than I was told NOTHING was wrong with the car. This was 2.5 hours of my vacation that I used to find this out. When I left Toyota that day I got half way home I noticed that the check engine light was on. I called Toyota and they told me I should take it back to who did my oil change and I drove right to Plaza and the guy went out and reset it, I got back in my car and it still was on. I went back in and Colby went out and I'm not sure what he did but the light went off. We have been customers of Plaza for a long time the service we received is heartening. First to be told something is wrong and it is not, second for Joe to tell them my car was never seen WOW I feel that my insurance company thinks I'm a liar now. Also, you are a tire shop and can't fix a wheel bearing?? I feel that I was failed by your organization from all aspects... I wasted a lot of time for nothing. IT's a sad day that Plaza has let the company in Jefferson City go down in service that was excellent....

I asked for an oil change, I guess they did that. Going home I checked status and it showed 88%. I usually have a status of 99%! I asked to have the tires rotated to check the air in the tires. When I status on the tires, they showed 27, 28, 29, and 28. I thought the standard for my car was 32 to 34.

Needed o.e. battery replaced in my 2012 Nissan Rogue. I was in and out of Plaza Tire in about 40 minutes. Colby was the technician that serviced my car. The cost of the battery and installation charge was still less than the cost of just the battery I priced at Wal-Mart. Plaza Tire is the only shop that works on my vehicle. I called up the next afternoon day to get the two tires replaced and Colby worked me in even though they were pretty busy that afternoon. I used a gift certificate my husband had purchased for me. I had the tires rotated and balanced. I told the tech my wheels had a vibration after 55mph. He stated the wheels had tons of mud and that was causing the vibration. I drove my vehicle home and it sill had a vibration. My daughter took it back the next week and they rotated the tires and did not balance. When the tech brought out the paperwork the guy at the desk asked if he balanced the tires and he said no. So he had to take the car back again to balance. This took over 1 1/2 hours. Then when my daughter left she said it was driving even worse. So I called back to store and they said go to fulton then obviously our machine is old. We then drove to the fulton locaiton. The balanced the tires and it is driving great. This is HORRIBLE customer service out of the Jefferson City Store. We drove from Fulton to Jeff three times for nothing. No appology from the Jeff Store. You have lost a good customer!!!

The manager however, was very nice when told about the situation and had it in the bay within a few minutes and gave me a discount. It was very good service on two different activities, First I had to buy a new tire from Plaza Tire to put on a new front replacement rim to replace a wheel damaged in hitting the street curb hard. Great Job Excellent Service. Second I had Plaza Tire realign the front end after I replaced the wheel. This took longer than normal because hitting the curb had bent something underneath so they had to add a part to bring adjustment into alignment. Good job but took longer (2 hours) than expected..
