I came in with a flat tired and it was fixed promptly and for a good price! Staff was very friendly and professional.

My car had what I thought was a pinhead nail in the tire, easy fix with a patch. After pulling it out it turned out to be the bottom half of a screw. With the hole being much bigger, I tried fixing it with one of those tire plug kits, but it would not work. Plaza Tire had it fixed within half an hour and I was good to go!

Went to Sam's Club where the wait for installation was three weeks however the department manager suggested Plaza Tire Service. I guess I have come to realize that that lifetime alignment thing is pretty much your bait and switch scam. I have bought it twice at two different stores. Once at your other Cape Store-not the main one, after I had earlier bought it, the service tech said it applied to another of the three cars on our account. But on my 2018 Flex, with my new tires bought at the Kirkwood store, he said he could not honor it and charged me for the alignment. So quit selling the bogus unlimited alignment, because there are a few sales guys like me driving 800 miles a week who actually try to use an unlimited alignment on a car with 200000 miles.

The night before Thanksgiving I noticed my right rear tire on my year old Honda CRV was flat. I called several places to see if I could get it repaired, but they were closed or about to close. I mention that I could come the day after Thanksgiving and both places were booked up until Monday. I went on your website and used the chat feature. The chat person on Plaza's end told me to bring it in whenever I wanted and fill out an overnight form and they would get it repaired sometime on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We took it in on Thanksgiving day, filled out the form, put the keys in the envelope, and droped the envelope in the slot. At 8am on Friday morning, we got a call from Plaza that the tire had been repaied and the car was ready for pickup! The service could niot have been better.

My neighbor had put a set of the Falken Wildpeak AT3 tires on his truck and they quickly caught my attention. I knew that the factory Dunlop Grandtrek AT2 tires on my 4 Runner needed to be replaced soon so I decided to ask questions about the AT3's overall performance. The concerns I had about the AT3 were about dry traction, traction on wet surfaces, resistance to hydroplaning, traction on snow, were they noisy, are they responsive and where did he purchase them. After being told to check out Plaza Tire I decided to take a drive to the Kirkwood store. Upon entering the Kirkwood store I was greeted by the assistant manager Mark Althoff. Mark was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Falken Tire line. I should also mention that Mark is easy to talk to and not a high pressure salesman. The store itself was also clean and orderly. So far I am very happy with the Wildpeak AT3 tires and ready for winter.

I was having a really bad morning and came out to my car having a nail in the tire. It had deflated so much I knew that I could not put off a patch until after work. The guys at Plaza Tire Service in Kirkwood were so helpful and understanding. They were able to get my tire patched and back on within a hour and half (fitting me between scheduled clients). I was even able to remotely work from the lobby!

I was looking to buy this car from the previous owner but wanted to get it checked out first to see what it needed to pass inspection. Dropped the car off 14JUN and picked it up 15JUN with the estimate and asked how much notice would be needed, they said a days notice. Bought the car and called Plaza the morning of 16JUN and told them I would be dropping the car off that evening for service the next day. They called the afternoon 17JUN and said they needed another day. They called the morning of 18JUN and said they couldn't find the lugnut key and couldn't finish the work without it. I had to take 1/2 vacation day to go get the car, take it to the dealer and get a key. They called the afternoon 18JUN and said since they were delayed with the key they needed another day. Saturday, 19JUN they said it was finished but it wouldn't pass inspection because of a back window brakelight (Plaza original estimate $12.95) and I would need to take it to a dealer (service dept. closed Saturday) to get it fixed or they could fix it Monday 21JUN. The afternoon of 21JUN they called and said they couldn't get the light until the next day and explained it was an LED light and it would cost $178 to install. They called 22JUN and said it was ready. I picked it up and admit I was a little angry over the experience but I explained to the cashier that there is a reason why the tire/auto shop down the road is always packed with a week waiting list and Plaza's parking lot is empty. I was offered no price break for my trouble, only an apology. I now own 5 cars for my family 2009 and older which of course require periodic maintenance. I can assure you none of these cars will ever see the Plaza Tire parking lot again!

Recently we were at a business in Kirkwood and upon leaving discovered a large headed screw in my tire. Went to Plaza Tire in Kirkwood and the gentleman said if we couldn't leave it we might have to wait a couple of hours. We were resigned to spending the rest of our afternoon in the waiting area. Long story short, we went for a little walk and 15 minutes later he called to say he had gotten our car in (a mechanic had returned from lunch) and we would be done in less than half an hour. His effort to get us done rather than have us sit waiting while cars that had been dropped off was greatly appreciated. If we lived in that area Plaza Tire would be my go to shop when in need of tires or repairs

*Review Edited from 1-star to 5* original review: Pretty sure they didn’t do the alignment. Steering wheel was way off and no before/after alignment paperwork was included with bill. Follow-up: Alan knocked it out of the park. He called me hoping to fix the situation, which he did in spades. I needed some parts replaced (diagnosed by Plaza) and Alan put my own parts on my truck (the replacement parts were also upgrades from OEM). I moved from STL to Sikeston and that didn’t stop Alan from getting in contact with the Plaza down in Sikeston to resolve this issue. Alan even comped some of the labor costs to put on the upgrades. A big help and I couldn’t ask for better customer service. Alan did a great job resolving the 1-star service. My truck is aligned and has upgraded parts installed correctly. Thank you, Alan!!

Service I went in for wad excellent but don't appreciate the upsetting of others services. I was told that I was in need of a wheel alignment, which I paid for one in October of 2020 when I purchased a new set of tires. I'm wondering if I the alignment was ever performed that I paid for. Also told I needed new front rotors, calipers and brake pads. The pads I can understand but I put rotors and calipers on my car in 2018... can't believe I need them again.

I had no appointment, but the employees were able to slide me in. The tire I thought had a small leak was actually a side wall small tear near the rim. The employees showed me my tire and what was wrong, of course due to the lengthy wear on my tires I had to get four new tires. They had a reasonable priced tires in stock and were able to install it pretty quick. All in all, I say my total time at the service station was about 25 minutes. The employees were friendly and helpful.

They did everything on time. I especially appreciated how they had arranged the chairs in their waiting room 6 ft apart and that they had hand sanitizer right there at the waiting area. On an earlier visit to change my oil their serviceman noticed a small leak on a transaxle seal on my 2019 car with only 15,000 miles. At their recommendation I took the car ack to the dealer who replaced the failing seal at no cost under warranty. Good catch.

Not very happy. Picked up my car and you could a very loud scraping noise coming from both front wheels. I was told by the sales person when I picked up the car that my dust shields where stuck to the wheels and that there is a little noise coming from them and should go away after a short ride. I told them there was no noise when I brought the car in and got no reply. Drove home pulled off the wheels and found the dust shields have been installed backwards. Also both front hub caps had the ford emblems broken out.

First off none of the people were wearing masks, or following cdc guidelines for the pandemic. There wasn’t even an attempt for that mask to be on the face. My fifth grader students do a better job of following the rules then these grown men. Secondly, the guy was trying to show me stuff that was “wrong” with my car and started talking about an another car and showing me things on the car that were “wrong” with it. So I let him talk for a minute or so then told him he was looking at the wrong car. He was clueless as to what he was actually talking about. Third, he kept trying to get me to spend over 900 dollars worth of crap I didn’t need. I told him I didn’t want to do that and he continued to keep asking and make a fuss about me not wanting to do any of that. Like I was the bad guy for not wanting to spend 900 dollars. And the last thing was how I saw them treating this girl in the store. They were being disgusting and trying to flirt with her. Telling her things like “now you make sure you drive home safe, ha ha ha”. This girl was about my age too, maybe like 24/25. I just want to point out too, the only reason I went there was I needed an oil change and tire rotation that day, and my normal place is always so busy, so I took it up to my normal place a couple days after and told them about my experience and that there might be things wrong with my car, and guess what? There was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. They said there was a little bit of use on the tie rod and that might need to be replaced in a while, but not right away. Bottom line, don’t go to this place, these guys are uninformed creeps, and bad salesmen. I wish I could give zero stars.

Managers were not wearing face masks despite mandates in place and common courtesy during a pandemic. I confronted a manager who was standing behind the counter COUGHING without a mask. His excuse was he was just coughing because he drank coffee, which is beside the point since any coughing can spread COVID-19. I was there to get an oil change and tires, but left after the finished the oil change. The older employee who helped me at the counter was kind and wearing a mask himself, I felt bad that his managers did not respect his health and their customer's health enough to wear masks themselves.

I ordered online and was quoted a price for Blacklion tires. When I picked up my truck the Bill included nitrogen fill and “tire protection”, neither of which I had requested. I had to demand that those charges be dropped and had to prove my stance by showing the store a printout of my online quote. When I got home and inspected the tires I found that I had been given Nokian tires, not Blacklion. Since the two brands were comparable, and since my checkout experience had felt like a “Sleight of hand” process, I just kept the tires. I was also irritated to find that I immediately began receiving unsolicited emails from Plaza Tire. I have been left with a very negative impression of the store and brand.

The customer service is alright, friendly. However, I felt that Allen was rushing and talking so fast especially explaining the details on what needs to be done with my car. I don't have any experience what so ever with car parts, I only know how to check the oil but I don't need someone to rush with explaining and expect that I know what's happening. And, I felt that plaza tire overcharged me for the new exhaust pipe especially when it can wait to get it fixed because my inspection is not due until 2022. Thanks for your service and showing me the car on what needs to be done but I'm not going back I found another mechanic that is honest and trustworthy and won't overcharge me.

Called and set up a time for an oil change, man on the phone said the oil change would be $26. When I get there the man at the front desk asked what kind of oil change I wanted and I told him just the basic conventional since I assumed that was the $26 one I was told about. I also ended up getting two new tires installed while I was there given how they had the ones I needed available. I was told everything would be $267 out the door. Well long story short, i made the mistake of not looking over my receipt before leaving. I was charged for over $60 worth of additional option things with my tire change without being told about them. My $26 oil change also ended up being $58. To top it all of (no pun intended) my wiper fluid was not topped off like advertised and my low fluid light came on after using my wiper fluid one time. Honestly, the only reason it is not 1 star is because the tire swap actually turned out to be pretty good work. Charging people for additions without telling them about them is horrible business, also maybe get your pricing right between all your employees.

The only problem was I was quoted one price over the phone and when I got there they explained the guy I talked to on the phone made a mistake and the price went from $150 to $300. They said he looked up the wrong thing when he quoted me the price. I was a little upset due to doubling the price. The tire they installed was flat within 8 hours of them putting it on Sunday morning. They were closed when I discovered it and closed Sunday, so had to travel back home on the spare. A tire place by my house repaired something with the stem not being sealed for $20 and when I called Plaza Tire to just get a refund of the $20 they said it couldn't have been the valve stem, called the place I got it fixed at, and told me the place that fixed it will refund me. Plaza Tire took zero responsibility for their mistake.

On a drippy, rainy morning earlier this week, I sliced the sidewall of my tire. As I sat in my car losing air with every minute, I jumped on the phone starting with the closest shop to my location. Plaza tire was the fifth one but the only one who could actually see me immediately. So I drove over and they got me in right away and as expected unfortunately, I had to purchase a replacement tire. Everyone was pleasant and the service was quite fast. I was back on the road very quickly.

I went in there to get my GVIP test done on my car. I passed the test but when I receive my car back. Then check engine light came on and it doesn’t make sense to me he said I’m surprise a pass the GVIP test, because your check engine lights is on they had my car for like 45 minutes. When my car was returned to me, the steering wheel,door and console was covered with oil. In the time we are living with covid 19, I would expect the car to be sanitized, wiped down or something. Oil handprints, and fingerprints everywhere is not what one would expect at anytime. I have pictures if you are interested. But had to thoroughly clean my steering wheel to even touch it.
