The transmission was studdering and slipping between 3 and 4th gear. Went there for transmission service and flush which removes ALL of the old fluid. They advised me that both hoses to the transmission cooler was leaking and I was approximately 2 quarts low out of a total of 5 quarts needed. That could likely account for the shifting and slipping problem. I live some 45 miles from them and my local shop was not equiped for flushing the transmission and exchanging all the fluid, We decided to let my local shop repair the hoses. The shifing issue was better but not resolved. It once we get that resolved we will go back for the complete transmission flush and servicing.

I was not happy at all. I bought the tire protection plan, and I had a tire that was leaking. I went there for repair, there was no other customer there. 2 men in the shop plus the manager Buck. They pulled my truck in, and 1 1/2 hours later I finally left. I don't know what they were doing. Meanwhile another customer came for an oil change and tire rotation, they did his and he left while i was still there. He said at first they were out of patches, but somehow they ended up fixing it and there was no one who came from auto parts, and no one left the shop. The last 3 oil changes I have had there, I paid for the deluxe where they top off fluids, but when I got home each time I checked and my windshield washer fluid had not been added to at all. I am not a complainer, I will not say anything to the manager, I will just try to find another Plaza to honor my warranty if needed.

Now that Plaza Tire has FINALLY hired a decent manager for their Piedmont store, I'll give the current manager and his crew 5 stars. However, I've not been a fan of Plaza Tire over the last couple/three years due to the managers you have hired. It is clear to me that your organization has issues with their employees and need to show more compassion and loyalty toward the workers that prove their salt. Chances are this manager won't last BECAUSE HE'S GOOD. The numerous changes in management does not reflect very highly on Plaza Tire as a company. Currently I take both my vehicles to this location but that doesn't mean that will continue. Buck UP - you've got competition.

I had a slow leak in one of my '16 S68 AMG front tires and took it to Plaza to get it fixed. After a while waiting, I walked out to the service area where my car was standing unattended. I looked around the garage, found a mechanic working on another car and was informed that they couldn't get the wheel off mine because it had some sort of odd security size lug bolt that they didn't have and I would have to take it to a Mercedes dealer (St. Louis or Memphis, hours away). I went across town to the NAPA place and their garage quickly took off the wheel and fixed the leak. Just by chance, when I got home, I got out my set of metric tools and discovered that a simple 17mm socket fit just fine. BTW, the factory security bolts were still in the trunk and had never been installed. I guess they just didn't want to work on my German junk.

Employees refused to replace brake pads on vehicle due to it needing rotors until I threatened to call their boss being as I had not enough funds for rotors but needed pads desperately. Also said my brake caliper was froze up and needed a new one price was $130 then they told me when I checked out they saved me some money on it and it was only $80. Not sure how they can change price of parts at all! Also requested that they diagnose misfire problem and hood was never lifted! Very disappointed in this plaza tire!! Will never return to that location due to the service they gave.

They took a long time, vs. last time I was there...and I had a different Volkswagen...the fuel filter I already had and my own oil...but I knew there was no special savings....after I walked back over an hour later, they still weren't done and the service tech came inside and said that's the most complicated oil change he's ever done. Now I know that VW has many specialized things....but I'd had the appointment for awhile....seems to me they could have done a quick survey of upcoming customers for the next day and do a bit of research ahead of time....They were late in getting me in and took longer than normal or last time....that technician was familiar with VW stuff....and I told them if you had called me on my phone (which they had) I could have told you I have the exact filter needed in my trunk...but it wasn't any savings....so I didn't offer it up. I'm no mechanic....I just went to O-Rileys and they knew what I needed...that's what I bought when my husband was going to change the oil himself. Vs. the North Cape Girardeau, MO shop where I had been before for new tires and they were quite familiar with VW's....this shop in Piedmont, however had no Manager....they rotate frequently and have problems keeping staff....so something's not right in this town where I now live. Too Bad. Think my husband will be changing the oil from now on.

My son had a tire loosing air so I dropped it off to see if it could be repaired. They worked his car in so that I could pick it back up before I went to work at noon. They checked it all out and got his car back on the road for him. They always do a great job.

I went to get an oil change and an inspection on the car so that I could get my license. It took a day after calling for an appointment, but I finally got in. They seem to be understaffed. My car did not pass an inspection because of the right turn signal would not work when the lights were on. I took it to another mechanic in town and they charged me a large fee to tell me that the bulb was in wrong. They did fix it but I would have thought that the mechanic at Plaza could have found that problem and saved me a lot of trouble. There needs to be a better customer service attitude by the manager. Steve seems to be able to handle his duties but he could be a bit more friendlier to us customers.

I have been extremely satisfied with my experience with our local Plaza Tire, due to the excellent management since Steve took over. Also, the assistant manager (don't remember his name), does a fabulous job and is a great communicator. Customers have become very demanding, impatient and rather spoiled in recent years, and that is ALL customers no matter what type of business. The emphasis should not be on the length of the waiting time but for the appreciation of the thoroughness of the work. I feel there is a lack of respect for the worker and too much emphasis on catering to an unappreciative client that is insatiable. Plaza Tire in Piedmont recently changed the oil ion my Chrysler. As always they did a fast and efficient job. But the thing I like best about Plaza is the manager always makes sure my car is treated as if it were his own; the work is done well, and my car is actually clean when I get it back. What I mean is, he makes sure I don't have "mechanics fingerprints" on my steering wheel and dash, or "mechanics footprints" on my floormat. That is only one reason why I will stay a loyal Plaza customer.

I have had several car and truck services from Piedmont Plaza in the last few months and it is always reassuring to know things will be done right. The team couldn't be more pleasant and accommodating. If I need to leave my car for the day because I want to go shopping, I have no worry about how safe my car will be. They don't just "stick it out back" , but they make sure it is in sight and out of harm's way. Whatever repair or service my car needs, I can be sure it will be done completely correctly. The team is efficient and professional. They are all trained to be so by the excellent manager, who makes sure that his team does not talk down to me, patronize me, or insult my intelligence because I'm a woman. For that and all the other reasons I've mentioned, I will continue to be a loyal Plaza customer. He looked into the services and found we were charged double for turning our rotors. We were refunded $80. Please look at your statement a carefully before paying. The Plaza Tire in Piedmont is the very best!!! Such quick professional service, and top quality products. Everyone there is only concerned with making sure the customer receives good value and service. And since they have a new manager now, the place is so much cleaner and all around more efficiently run. I don't mind waiting in a clean, pleasant surrounding. And now, the work seems to be done so much faster the waits are not nearly so long. I will be a life-long customer if I have Piedmont Plaza to rely on.
