I Have had 2 sets 1 right after the other, go bad at 24,000 miles. The crew here in Poplar Bluff Mo. were very rude. And tried to tell me it was my fault that the tires wore early. Ive never been called a liar before so this was upsetting. The Man called Joey was especially rude and mean.

My truck had a horrible noise in four-wheel-drive found out the transfer case was completely dry of fluid. I filled it up for me. Awesome job thank you! I brought my van in to get the heat fixed. It had to have a new radiator. The heat worked great for a couple of weeks then it started blowing cold air again. I took it back in. It had an air bubble. The heater worked really good for about a week, but now it is blowing cold air again. Ugh!!

I had a slow leak in my back left rear tire. They took great care of me. Plaza Tire must be very popular because I arrived right when they opened and there was still a long wait. But worth it. Staff was nice. I would definitely let them take care of my tire needs again! Oh they also had donuts and coffee!

I like that they do the inspection thing before working on the vehicle, but it would have been nice to be informed of that when I asked about the oil change. I was glad the tech knew to reset my oil percentage. I was not happy with the grease and oil on the front of the hood of the car and the steering wheel and the door interior the door handle inside and out .

My tires were all pretty good until I scrubbed a curb and then a few weeks later my low air came on, put air in and a few days later light was on again. My husband found a bubble on the sidewalk where I must have rubbed that curb pretty good. I called where I originally bought my tires, it’s a good size shop. They did not have one tire in stock that would fit my Highlander. I called Plaza Tire in Poplar Bluff and they gave me 5 choices of tires they had that day and could on for me. I arrived midday and they kept apologizing for being busy. No problem, we left the car, walked next door and ate lunch. The car was ready when we came back. Flat tire. Repaired in a timely manner considering number of customers ahead of me. I would just wish the invoice had indicated what the problem was and how the tire was repaired. Was an object found in the tire? Was a plug inserted? I like information. I'd also like to add how impressed I was with the manager's handling of a concerned client over the phone who needed a LOT of assurance over a mechanical matter. The mgr never lost his professional manner or became flustered or impatient although it took at least 20 minutes to calm the caller down. His kindness and calm were remarkable. I wish parents could show such patience with their children. This is what the Christian characteristic of patience should look like and so seldom does.

I had a belt that started making a squealing noise when I would start it up. I had a friend check it out. And he said my belt to my alternator was starting to frae. And should get into have it looked at immediately. I needed to go to Poplar Bluff for personal reasons, a 60 mile drive. I thought Tire Plaza could check it out. I trust their work. My belt was down to threads. They had a full shop of customers but were able to still get me in. They never have let me down. I’m very happy, and lucky I made it to them.

I work for VA Center for Development & Civic Engagement and it is my job to help Veterans in need. We had one at our facility damage his wheel causing the tire to lose it's bead. We put his spare on and took him to your shop. I advised if Plaza could donate the work to get him back on the road I can provide a donation receipt for the value of the work which may be used for tax purposes. I also advised if they were not interested in doing that a VA Police officer had already spoken with Plaza about putting the cost on his own account. The store did the work, didn't charge the Veteran, the VA Police or want a donation receipt. The took care of this Veteran with exceptional customer service!

My new tires were not inflated to the right psi of 36psi. one was at 33 and the other was at 31. And I did not receive a free front end alignment check!

Had a slow leak in one of the trailer tires i purchased. Had to stop at Discount tire to have them look at it. Apparently, it must of have been a bad seal, Removed the tire checked for leaks. also remove the tire from the rim and inspected it found no leaks, Discount tires says all RV traiker tire should have Max rating air pressure which was 80 in this case. Your tech only put 50, but this tire had leaked down to 29lbs. re mounted checked al others and added air to 80lbs. Tire worked perfect after that. Not blaming anybody, just an FYI. Thanks for all your help.

I’ve had great auto service experience at all the Plaza Tire locations; great service, knowledgeable techs, good prices. All that being said, I’ll never go back. My last two visits at two different locations have been highlighted by customer service shilling the Plaza Tire credit card. I know that the employees are mandated to push it by management, I’ve been in that spot before. But, two polite “no”s should be enough. At my last, and final, visit to Plaza Tire I had three folks behind the desk pushing me to sign up, all talking over each other about how “it would really help them out” if I applied, and none of them taking multiple no’s for an answer. They shilled it while I paid, signed for my payment, until the moment I walked out the door. I came in to have four tires replaced. I asked for low rolling resistance tires to replace the Firestone original supplied tires on my Camry hybrid. They found them in stock and arranged to install them that day. I was pleased. A few days later, quite by accident, I discovered the wrong size tires had been installed. When I called to complain, they recognized the error they had made and replaced them that day without any question. My only real complaint with the service I received was they never should have made that error and I was fortunate to discover their mistake.

I had a leak in one of my Prius tires and thought I’d have them rotated and balanced while they looked for a lead. They initially told me there would be a wait when I called and when I got there they took me right in. They checked my tires and found one with a broken belt and adjusted it. The low tire light was out when I left but came back on within one hour of leaving. Need to reschedule another visit to have the tires checked again.

I have a severe latex allergy, normally when I get service here there is a young man who understands this and has been coming outside to process the order and payment, however, he was off. After explaining this to the guy at the desk he did nothing, in fact he took another customer before me who did not have an appointment and then answered the phone. All the while I was having more and more difficulty breathing and told him so, I then went and stood in the door and when he asked why I was leaving I told him I had to step out or he would have to call an ambulance soon. He said he would be quick and get me started but he answered the phone again instead. I wait3ed outside until he was not busy and then went back in and he started my appointment for VIN and odometer verification for car registration. We went out to me car where he argued with me about whether or not the car had to be turned on for odometer reading and he eventually conceded I was correct. I instructed him to bring the bill out outside because I was still having difficulty breathing, he did not. He waved me inside, I went in and asked if the paperwork was ready, he said in a second, several minutes later I had to go back outside because my breathing was worse and he got very annoyed. He waved me back inside, I paid, in cash so it would be quick, and left breathing so hard I had to pull over on the side of the road to catch my breath and so I wouldn't crash. The guy was very rude and condescending. This is the 2nd time in a month we (my husband and I) have received poor service and have decided to not return

Fine place to go if you don't have plans for that day. They say it could take 45 minutes what they really mean is two or more hours. Appointments mean nothing they still do walk ins before you. They keep tire keys and give you junk in place of your good one. My ignition key got broken in half and guess what? 'Ma'am it was never out of the ignition.' That's a lie because I handed it to the counter guy when I checked in. Unless you want to say I handed him my entire car and ignition over the counter. (Not likely as my car would be heavy) Or the fact that I watched him put my unbroken key in a plastic pouch before hand. Then after my key was broken in half they offered no help. I needed a way to go pay 70 dollars to get a new key cut. Do you know what they did? Gave me a number to a cab company and denied my key getting snapped in half was on them and I was left standing on the side of the street. I had to walk to my house, finally got a cab. After I was dropped off and my key was cut I couldn't get another cab due to them being busy and had to walk miles to my stranded car and reprogram my key on my own. So 10 out of 10 never going back to plaza. I've been a long time customer and I'll never go back. My horror story before that is I pull up and say hey my cars front end is popping can you look at my ball joints? (Looks) "it's your struts ball joints are fine" I pay 1200$ to fix it. It's not fixed still making the same exact noise. Few months later I'm getting an oil change and tire rotation. "Um ma'am your ball joints are bad,we can replace them for 400$ dollars a side" (No kidding my ball joints are bad.. I asked you to fix them a few months ago) So I buy the parts and take it to another person that puts my parts on for 120$ take it to plaza for an alignment because I paid for lifetime alignment when they lied about my struts making that noise I still had to pay 89$ for bolts! What good is paying extra for the lifetime shit if you have to still buy parts!? Done with this place. I'll always tell everyone about breaking my key and leaving me stranded and changing parts for the hell of it.

There is one reason they didn’t get 5 stars. Part of my service was that I needed a tire rotation. When I picked up my truck, all 4 tires showed low pressure warning on my truck. I picked it up as the shop was closing so I didn’t go back in. I felt like since I had purchased the tires from them and had a rotation they would have double checked my pressure and when they moved my truck from the shop they should have seen the warning and corrected the issue. It won’t affect my business at Plaza Tire as the folks there are great and generally get 5 stars.

The staff is always helpful and courteous but the time it takes for service is poor. I had an 8:30 am appointment for the purchase and installation of 4 tires. I drove past the shop at 12:30 and my truck was still in the same spot. At 2:30 I called to see if it was finished and explained that I had trouble with my second car and needed my truck as soon as possible. After two more calls at 4:30 I was contacted and told my truck was ready. I feel 8 hours is an inappropriate amount of time for this service especially when an appointment was made days ahead of time.

Battery died, bought new one and replaced ourselves. Battery light stayed on, so took car to Plaza Tire to have it checked. By the time they looked at it, the battery light had gone off, but they charged it and we picked it up. A few days later, the battery light came on again, took it back and we had the alternator replaced. Car working fine now. Plaza in Poplar Bluff has always been my place to go for service. I have depended on them since we moved there and they have NEVER disappointed me. They keep me on the road and for that I am deeply grateful. The personnel there are AWESOME!!!

Well, I have always had good luck with Plaza, however, I had to take my Buick to another shop 2 days after service and found out my coolant was very low. I was under the impression (because I ask every time), do you top of fluids and check tire pressure when oil change and rotation is done, was assure yes they did. NOT SO... Spent over $900 for tires & other wheel related repairs and drove 10 miles and our tire sensor light came on!! It wasn’t on when we brought it in!!! My husband took it back so they changed one sensor and light is still on so they said to take it somewhere else to see what is causing it!!! Where would that some other place be a competitor tire shop??? If that’s the case we will continue to use the competitors shop!!!! We have been using Plaza Tire for over 20 years this is not the answer we wanted when we took the van back with sensor light on after spending almost a grand!!!!!!!!!!!

I disliked that I was told my oil change was going to cost $32.99 when I called days ahead then after I dropped off my car, I received a call and was told my car NEEDS some type of .2 oil. I was at work so I didn’t have time to talk. The woman asked if it was ok to use that oil because it would cost me $72. No it wasn’t. I asked if they could use the standard oil that was quoted at $30. She informed me that my car NEEDED this type of oil. She said that she was just calling to let me know so I wasn’t surprised by the price when I got there. Which implies, I have to pay that amount that I didn’t want to pay. I said fine because I had to get back to work. She applied a coupon which was nice but still. I paid double the price. I booked the appointment because it was the lowest quoted. I was told $32.99 and ended up paying $63. I know my car doesn’t NEED synthetic oil. I feel unsatisfied and ripped off. If I had more money that would be fine but I don’t and now I’m waiting until my next paycheck to eat because Plaza Tire insisted on taking my money. I will never go back there again.

I have received excellent service from this store in the past, but there were a couple of problems this time. I called the day before to verify that the tires that I wanted were available. But when I got there, they only had three of the four I needed (the computer said they had 4). Since I live about 70 miles from their store, coming back another day was a major inconvenience. After they located another tire which they could get in about an hour, I had them put the old tires back on so I could continue to get things done instead of sitting for an hour. Unfortunately one of the tires they remounted was the damaged spare. So I had a flat tire and they had to come out and fix it before I could make it back to the store. Anyway it all worked out in the end without too much wasted time. Despite losing a star this time, I am happy with my purchase and recommend this store.

I wasn't really happy with my experience this time. Oil change and fixed tire and rotation. I had 31 lbs of pressure Iin 3 tires and 40 lbs in one. No sticker so I would know when to change oil again Then when I looked at the mileage on ticket it wasn't even my mileage. I'm not sure what was going on that day but I was not impressed with the service at all. I have been a long time customer but may not be much longer if it doesn't improve. I did go back and Sedrick did take care of my issues.

I came into the shop and asked for a front end alignment the evening prior. The worker named Joey (remembered because is the same as mine) asked day time would be best for me and I said next day; he asked what time and I asked what was convenient for him--first thing in the morning. Arrived next day with vehicle, service was done. Another worker (forgot name) was very positively personable and gave awesome customer service and explained the breakdown of what was wrong with my vehicle and what was done to remedy the problem. I've had alignments on vehicles in the distant past and this seemed quick and affordable. I had my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited worked on. Front end alignment and tires balanced it drove worse then before the work. I took it back and the manager drove it and told me it was because the tires were to wore. So I asked him why it drove worse after they worked on it and he said that since he had not drove it on the road he could not say if it drove better or worse. He did not even try to sell me new tires. I will never go to Plaza tire again.

We give 5 stars because everyone is so wonderful! We were surprised on all the hours it took this time. Every 6 months we've had to buy tires for this car & it has never taken this long! This is the first time I’ve not given a 5 star, unfortunately I was charged for tire disposal when I took my tires and also wanted to keep two of my valve stems, they were all replaced and a cap was missing. They’re going to make it right but I have to travel 65 miles to get there., so it is inconvenient for me. Luckily I noticed that my tire sensor was not working so I just drove around the block to go back and they corrected it.
