Blew out 2 tires

I needed new tires and couldn't pay for all four so I got credit for them to pay installment and other services. They were good ?? with checking out our car

I visited plaza tire to get a flat tire fixed . I was out of town , never been there before. I had the tire off, they were very busy. I bought my tires at plaza in st . Charles. After they searched the computer, they found me . I probably was there 10 minutes, they we're done. It was Friday before deer season . Thanks for the service and quick fix. I was bow hunting shortly thereafter . Thanks does not say enough about the manager and employee who helped . God bless those hard working people . Keep up the great service.

I've been going here for some time now and they always seem to service my vehicles in a timely manner and at a fair price. Never had any problems. Very professional. Would highly recommend them.

Was very pleased with the management and workers I needed new set of tires and oil change. They were right on it...also was a problem with my Plaza card. Was approved for 1300.00$. But when used it was for 1000$.I've had and used this card for over a year and never had a problem. But when used this time I was told only1000$. There was no money owed on my account. Management calledand had it checked . It was up to 1042.00 to cover what I had bought. But was not1300$.I still do not understand why it wasnt1300$as was said when I applied for my Plaza card. I was pleased the manager helped me with it to the best of his ability. I would like to know what the problem is when I was applying I was oked for 1300$ I've used it for over a year and then without notice it was lowered with no money owed on it. I had my tires rotated and an oil change for an upcoming road trip. I am always satisfied with their quick, friendly and efficient service. I forgot I had a $10.00 coupon in my purse which my oil change qualified for but when I called back a few days later, it was too late to use so I was aggravated at myself for forgetiing about it. Maybe a reminder note on back of register facing customers saying, "do you have coupons?" would help seniors like me remember because on social security $10.00 means a great deal! haha Thanks for the great service!

After waiting for over 2 hours, I was told that I could not receive service because a part on my vehicle was worn (ball joint). I asked them to show me. After two times and shining a light on it there was clearly no movement in the ball joint. I was highly upset and I will NOT be returning to any plaza tire service locations. This is the second time that plaza tire has told me that a ball joint it worn, which it is not, and I was unable to receive service. I was able to go to a different auto service and was out in 30 minutes. The front desk associate was also extremely rude during our first encounter. Again, I am disappointed and will never return to another Plaza Tire Location.

Manager, Chuck White, is arrogant and rude. He has the reputation for being a real ASS all over Potosi including Auto Zone. He doesn't make appointment for anything and told me if I want an appointment to go to the Doctors office. Another customer, that overheard our conversation, told me "don't feel bad he treats everyone like that". He actually prides himself in his unfriendly personality and will tell you that he treats everyone the same including his own mother. He would be much better off changing tires in the shop than dealing with the public. His employees have always been great (rating 5) and will only state that Chuck treats them well and that they need their jobs. I've been a plaza customer since it opened years ago. If Chuck remains the manager I will have to rethink buying any more tires there.

This last time the man who helped me well in a polite way he should no longer be working there because I won't be back and deal with him at all! I went to have a tire that was leaking air repaired. I left after getting the job done, but the next morning the same tire was very low once again. I went to the gas station and aired it back up. Next day the same thing. I took it back the second day and the tire repair person found yet another nail in the same tire. He showed me the nail and how it had been in the tire for a while since it had the head worn off. They repaired it then. There was no charge, but my issue is that the second nail should have been found the first visit, saving me another trip into town. I live about 20 miles away..

Arrived at before 7:30A opening. Requested an oil change and safety inspection. Service manager was cold and unfriendly. He told me that I had to leave the car because I was needing a safety inspection. I could not find someone to give me a ride so I walked home, four miles. At 4:30PM I called and they still had not got to my car. At 5:00 I came back and they had just started working on my car. Got my car back at 5:30PM. I was treated more like a nuisance than a customer. I know where I won't be buying my next set of tires.

had back brake and rotors replaced been having trouble with every since the stick even though it was brought back nothing was done to fix the problem I had the front ones done by someone else and they told me more than likely the oil wasn't cleaned off the rotors which will cause hot spots and they will warp is why the back ones are sticky so I will have my back ones redone by a more knowledgeable mechanic.

Truck ran fine all the time, take it in for an oil change I’m told I need a serpentine belt, I reluctantly said ok then get a call again saying the tensioner pulley will need changed, I said I’ll just do it myself... all the way home it ran like crap! I don't in general hardly ever do reviews, I'm not related nor do I personally know anyone working at Plaza Tire. Almost every time I've needed help, tire work or even questions, someone at Plaza Tire has always come through for me by either solving the problem or got answers. Even if they didn't know they'd call someone and get the answer I needed. Every time I was told about how long the work would take and by golly it was finished at or before what was said except if a problem would arrive, they would always come find or call me to let me know exact what went wrong but that's a rare occasion. I used to go to Dobbs Tire till I had a run in about one of their employee's called my vehicle a piece of shit within my hearing it. I went to let the manager know I was not happy. Here comes his employee with a empty apology. Another FAIL time with Dobbs is they did some front end work, good job but didn't put my GMC caps back on my truck, called, never got them back,.. Still not to this day! I'm very unhappy and uncoustomered from them! So far so good with Plaza Tire, I hope it stays that way. Their team has helped me a lot sends I started going there to the Potosi store. Thanks Guys!!!

Jeremy waited on me, he was professional and assisted me with the tires I needed for the truck. Upon putting the new tires on, his mechanic brought to his and mine attention that the truck needed a front end alignment. I will return with my wife's vehicle to purchase new tires from there again. The De Soto Plaza Tire store is very hard to so business there. They over inflated her tires, when she drove the car she returned and advised them something else was wrong. They told her all kinds of front end problems and needed hundreds of dollars of work. She returned home and thays when I found the tires inflated twice the recommended pressure. i called them on the issue and they denied it.

Misdiagnosed an issue with my vehicle that failed me on inspection but with further investigation from another source, problem never existed. Also had engine light come on after a routine safety inspection by them but was told it wasn't their fault and sent on my way. My experience here was 50/50. I did receive the product that I came for, however, I cannot say that the service was in any way satisfactory. I came here to take advantage of the Dick Cepek offer on the trail country exp tires. Excellent tires and I am completely satisfied with them and would recommend them to anyone who wants a tire that blends off road capability and highway drivability. I also purchased the lifetime alignment and road hazard protection. After paying for the product and services I asked the manager if they could proceed with an alignment since I paid for the lifetime. I was aware that my Jeep needed an aftermarket adjustable control arm kit and would have to be realigned afterwards. The manager told me in a way that made me feel like he was belittling my intelligence that he wouldn't align my Jeep because he wasn't going to damage "his" machine. The problem that I have with this is that without the alignment my tires that at this point have zero miles on them are going to wear incorrectly. I understand that the price of a set of tires is incomparable to the price of one of those machines. I also understand that I just paid for a service and was refused that service. I don't not believe that the machine would have been damaged since I went to another plaza location and was told that the alignment could be done with no issues. I took the jeep back to the potosi location after getting my control arms so as to not harm their equipment. I have watched the manager at this location get hateful with customers, act like the paying customers are am inconvenience for him, and then trash talk customers to his friends and regulars when those "inconvenient" customers are gone. I don't go back to plaza for anything other than my services that I have already paid for and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else unless you are prepared for the possibility of inconveniencing them and dealing with the repercussions of it.

Adding extra product to.your bill without letting the customer know or without asking the customer if they want it or not is against the law! Then forgetting to put a gasket after oil change or forgetting to tighten a lug nut after putting new tires is carelessness. You are putting your customers in danger and just because you tell them that you are just human too and that you make mistake too doesn't really make the situation better! So.next time spend your time doing your job right and ask customers first if they want the extra product and respect their answer. Tell them upfront what they are paying for instead of just giving them the figures and let them find out after paying, to me this is the right way to do business! Don't fool customers and your business will grow!!

i would like to give more but after my oil change and brake flush I drove home and when i got home there was smoke coming out from under my hood. I use Plaza for all my vehicles for oil and tires but after this I am starting to rethink where i go. I called them and asked why all the smoke was coming out from under my hood? Turns out that they had spilled the brake fluid everywhere under the hood now I understand things happen and was not mad about it. I was mad they did not say a word about it so that a person who just had there truck worked on would not be worried. I washed the oil off and everything was fine but why would you not tell someone that it happen.

I just moved down here from O’fallon Mo which is the location I had taken my car the last 4 years. Sadly I didn’t listen to my mother who warned me the Plaza Tire in Potosi will tell you things are wrong with your car, even if they aren’t, in order to make more money. This is exactly what they did. He told me my car’s shocks weren’t any good and that they had caused wear on my tires and if they rotated them to the front I would have trouble driving my car because of the vibration. He also proceeded to tell me that foreign cars need the shocks changed every 30,000 miles because they wear out faster!! What a load of crap!!! There is nothing wrong with my shocks and there isn’t anything worn wrong on my tires. It cost me upwards of $110 to get the oil changed and an air filter!!! I will no longer be using Plaza Tire and I will be reporting the Potosi location to the BBB for false claims of damage to my car in order to make money!! The visit left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never use plaza tire again!

I've used the Potosi Plaza for six years. The work is always well-done and thorough. But the manager they have now is rude to customers and staff. He dismissed me when I described the charging system symptoms I wanted to have checked out (along with oil change and tire rotation). When they were done with the car I asked if they'd found anything wrong with the charging system. It was obvious from his hesitation that he didn't know what I was talking about. The guy who USED to be the manager (and was great at it) was at the other register and answered my question. He stopped abruptly, glancing at the current manager. I looked at him and he said, very stiffly, "As I was saying..." and went on basically telling me that there could be problems with it. Sounded like he was covering his ass. (Maybe the company's.) BRING BACK THE LAST MANAGER!

Nothing was resolved regarding my tires that are wearing prematurely. I’m driving around with a busted belt and bad tires and Plaza says it’s my fault. Really upset with the customer service. They were not rotating my tires as I requested and they admitted they don’t always do a rotation if they are busy. So sure it’s my fault they didn’t rotate them and now they are putting me in an uasafe driving situation. Funny thing is, I left Crown Motors because they weren’t rotating my tires, which was pointed out by Plaza, then they turn around and do the same thing. Maybe, just maybe, they don’t rotate so you will have to buy new tires from them again and again and again. I am very disgusted by what they have done to me. I’m not sure I will ever return unless this problem is fixed ASAP.

I have used Potosi location for several years, and this is the first time I have regretted it. Chuck needs to learn some customer service skills. I found him to be rude and snide. If he is working, I will take my vehicles else where to be serviced.

Wanted to sell me a new tire instead of breaking down and cleaning the bead. I had paid extra for there road hazard package. My tires had been bought there. Should have been fixed for free. I went to a locally owned competitor and they did what was needed for $10. I will acknowledge it was busy on day I went, but no excuse for wanting to sell something that wasn't needed.

The man that did my was rude when he told me 3 of my tires had 52 lbs of air in them. I'm not dumb and I had not put air in my tires recently . The last time the air was checked was November 2,2017 when Plaza Tire changed my oil.
