Just had a simple oil change and tire rotation. So glad they were able to work me in. I had called "Reliable" first for the rotation because thats where i bought my tires and they were sounding pretty loud. They told me sure, how's the middle of September sound! My next set's coming from you guys. One minor detail about the rotation, seems there's a low pressure sensor that needs to be reset after a rotation. Found that out on the way back from KC. thank you for being my neighborhood tire store.

A bit disappointed. We bought 4 new tires earlier, and the tech forgot to do the alignment. So we had to make an extra trip for this visit. I presented a $25 alignment coupon when I took the car in. On October 19, 2022, three workers at Plaza Tire Service on East Sunshine went above and beyond the call of duty. Around 5:15 PM I called them asking if they could remain open beyond their normal closing time of 6PM in order to help a friend whose van had a right rear tire blowout on I-65 just south of town. They graciously agreed to wait until the wrecker brought to vehicle. Due to poor service by my friend's insurance company, we weren't about to get the car to Plaza tire until after 8PM. That didn't seem to matter to the three workers. They waited patiently until my friend's vehicle arrived. They quickly replaced the blown-tire along with another one that was in horrible shape. They also put air in the spare which had been completely flat. What these gentlemen didn't know is that only 4 days prior, our friend lost her husband, a retired Army chaplain, to a horrible accident. Their kindness was so timely and reflects in so many ways on the character of Plaza Tire Service as an organization. One of the men was named Josh. I don't have the other two names. Please recognize them for their kind efforts. PS- Previous to this we have bought complete sets of tire for both of our vehicles from Plaza. They always do outstanding work at reasonable prices. I had an appointment, I got there a few minutes early and checkd in. They told me it would be 45 minutes. I waited 50 minutes,checked on my canr and it had not even be taken in to be serviced. I came there wanting to purchase the tires I saw online for $104. One of the guys suggested I buy the next ones up in price because they were a lot better tire ( you get what you pay for he said). After some online price checking at a nearby tire shop I decided to buy what he suggested. Now, I had to wonder if he did that just to make a bigger sale. I felt like that was the reason, but with that said I am giving a good review because I am very satisfied with the tires I purchased. Rotation completed. The alignment machine that does the quick check was broken and had been out of service for 2-3 weeks. I wanted alignment check but was told it would be a long wait. Was told that since the car had not been "pulling" that it should be ok. I will admit that it is driving fine but was just frustrated at how was addressed.

I am 80 years old on crutches waiting for hip surgery and I had a 1 o’clock appointment. I ask two times by a little after 2 o’clock if I should come back at a better time and was told they would get to me very shortly. After driving 75k to 90k per year I learned that having tires rotated and balanced every 5000 miles allowed me to drive on a set of Michelin tires for more than a year. Plaza always does as I ask, rotate AND balance. They also check alignment which I require! Plaza does a great job for me and I will continue using them on my car and truck. The only problem we are having at Plaza is the same at all service companies...lack of enough quality people. It is not something Plaza can change. It is everywhere.

Plaza tire service on E. Sunshine in Springfield, MO did not rotate my tires and the tech double gasketed my oil filter so when I left my truck started smoking and left a trail of oil. When I called and told them what happened they wanted me to bring the truck back, but my oil light came on and if I drove it back it would have ruined the engine. I took my truck in to have a slow leaking tire repaired. It ended up not being repairable. So, I bought a new tire. I felt that I was very well taken care of and was kept "in the loop" on the entire process.

I had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change/tire rotation and was there by 10:15. After 1 1/2 hrs. I noticed my car was still in the parking lot about 15 minutes later the customer service rep came to me an explained that they only had one oil change bay and the car ahead of me was waiting on a part that was needed. Anyway I was there until 1:30, about 3 hours longer than I expected. When my car was finished and I went to the counter to pay I was told that I would not be charged anything because of the long wait (about a $75+ value). I was shocked to say the least. I thought I might get a discount but did not expect to not be charged at all. I was told this kind of wait was in no way their normal service and to please give them another chance. That's ultimate customer service and I will give them another chance for sure!!

I have had plaza tires do my tires several times now and have seemed to do a good job with the installation. The structure that your business plan is built around is horrid. Using the phrase "home of the quick change artist" is mute when it takes 2 1/2 hours of waiting just to change your tires. It would not hurt to allow that making of appointments to get your tires done. There are many of us that have quite a bit to do in the course of any given day and our time is as valuable as yours! Many times we do not have somebody that can drop us off and drive us wherever we need to go. I understand on mechanical repairs you may need to drop off the vehicle because of the extent of the repair, but not just tire changes. It is important to note that my complaint is not with the individuals that worked on my vehicle or the salesman working upfront, they were pleasant to deal with, but with the business model that seems to be driving it, no pun intended.

My car has needed a decent amount of work in the past 6 months, and they have made the process as painless as possible. You will simply not find superior service or better prices. As someone who isn’t knowledgeable about cars, I have dealt with countless other establishments trying to sell me things I don’t need, and providing overpriced quotes. But at Plaza Tire Service, they have never taken advantage of my lack of knowledge, and they always explain things in a simple way I can understand. One time, in an attempt to repair some extreme damage to my alignment, they did some work, but found that the installs did not substantially help the problem. They immediately notified me, uninstalled the kits, and didn’t charge me for a thing. It’s getting more difficult to get my car serviced. It’s no longer a “quick change”. All the area locations are hours wait to get into for oil change and tire rotation. At this particular location it was a 2 hour wait. The service tech failed to get the tire light indicator on the dash reset (don’t think he even tried). And since that service my car has developed a “shimmy” in the front end that it did not have prior to this service. It is very difficult for me to find the time to get my car in to see what happened at the last service encounter. Definitely re-thinking my options for the next service provider. I am disappointed. Update 4/28 - called again to try and schedule a time to have the issue looked at. Again - another hour and a half to 2 hour wait. Who has time for this.

I keep trying to give them another chance, but I keep getting disappointed. I dropped my vehicle off to have an overview inspection done as to I just purchased this vehicle. I was told it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to complete. 3 hours later I call them and immediately they state its ready. I go up to pick up my vehicle expecting a thorough explanation of what all was done and looked at. I received a 2 page receipt with literally nothing on it, other than in very small print on page 1 that I needed a transfer case fluid change and the cost of that along with I have a poor brand of tires on the truck. I went in to have a tire replaced. I wanted the least expensive base model tire. Two different employees try to talk me into getting a more expensive model stating that the base tire did not come with a mileage warranty. Your website clearly states that the base tire comes with a 40,000 mileage warranty. The tire I was replacing was on the rear passenger side. I asked them to put the new tire on the front of my car as my car is front wheel drive. They said no problem. When I got home I realized that they put the tire on the back. This is why I gave the three star rating.

When I called to make an appointment to replace all 4 tiresI asked about tire pricing and was giver 2 quotes for tires and was told they have both sets of tires in stock. I got an oil change the first time for very cheap, but the second time I had no more discounts and after I got the work done, my car still said I needed an oil change. I had ordered a rim and tire package offline, and just got them in the day before. I noticed something wasn't right while driving. But I stopped by plaza tire service on East Sunshine in Springfield Missouri. The guys checked my tires and we found out that all 4 tires were out of round. Russell and his crew had me check it out, and allowed me to take video and pictures of them on the machine for a warranty claim through the company I bought them through. Then I went ahead and just replaced the bad tires with four tires there in the shop so that I can get to work. While it was frustrating that I just bought brand new tires the day before online, wrestling is cremated a very nice experience for the circumstances I was in. I recommend anybody go to plaza tire service.

Needed a new set of tires. Found them here for the best price. But the good stops here. Was promised 1.5 hrs to completion. Took 3 hrs, and almost made me late to pick my kids up from school. Replaced a bad ( and only bad ) tire pressure sensor. Took forever to program. Then the manager informed me after an hour that the back 2 went bad. At the same time. They were working when I came in. Did not offer to replace them, just blamed the age on the reason they went bad. Lame. Not at the same exact minute. Not by chance. Had no time to argue. As soon as the extra warranty I purchased runs out, will be the last time I ever deal with these folks. Not very professional, or knowledgeable as the matter of fact. My daughter had a flat tire so I took the car into Plaza without an appointment. They were busy, but they got the car in within 30 minutes. The puncture was on the side so they could not patch it. They also check the tread on the other tires and showed me a graph of the life left of the tires. I knew she needed new ones, but they did not try to sell me tires. Because of their non-aggressive sales tactic, I went ahead and purchased new tires. My daughter has a sporty car so I was shocked that they had the tires in stock for a good price. Like I said they were busy, so I left the car and went on to work. They had her tires on within 3 hours which was in plenty of time for her to pickup her car after school. Very happy, and plan on purchasing my next set of tires for my Suburban from them.

I'd give 5 stars, but when I dropped off the vehicle for an inspection to renew my registration & an alignment check (I purchased a Lifetime Alignment Package), I asked for a computer printout of the alignment at the time of pickup, but it wasn't provided. My car has been "fixed' there TWICE, YET, the reason I took it there has not been repaired! Almost $900 spent there and still not satisfied. Now I have been told to take it for a head gasket at another company.. As far as i can tell... they replaced 2 coils, sprayed a cleaner in it to stop it from hesitating and idling roughly,,,, still does...and filled the coolant container... I had a flat tire from hitting a curb. I took it up the car to Plaza. I Also had a nail in another that they said couldn't be repaired. I waited nearly 3 hours with very little communication. When they were done replacing the two tires I asked if they did an alignment check he said he thought so but another employee over heard and said no. So i asked for one since i had an impact. The alignment check failed. I had been there so long, i said i would come back later. Meanwhile the wheel feels like its gonna come off. It's making a noise that is concerning. I'll be going back this week if I can find the time.

I really like the four tires that you put on my truck based on their appearance and price. I hope I also will like their longevity but that remains to be seen. I liked the mail-in rebates that the salesperson (Dusty) providing me with and if they are fulfilled I will like my NET price even better. The reason I didn’t give the store a higher rating was twofold: 1) the greater than expected time to mount the tires. When I made the appointment the previous week I was told I should be out in 1 hour. When I arrived on the service day that service time of 1 hour was confirmed and modified slightly with “give or take a few minutes.” Bottom line, I was in the waiting room 1.5 hours. I don’t consider that “give or take a FEW minutes. 2) The other disappointment which added minutes to my total service was the fact that the tires were put on the truck with the raised white letters on the inside of the when I clearly asked for them to be on the outside. They store had to reverse all four tires and that cost me an additional 30 minutes resulting in me being in the store over two hours which made me late to my nextl appointment that day and really screwed my entire day.

Returned to be told, “ We’ll have you in and out within an hour and a half.” Tow and a half later was told my car didn’t pass inspection. Took the car to State Highway Patrol, and it did pass. I went in for an inspection so that I could renew my license plates. When I arrived I was told that I’d have an hour and a half to two hour wait, which was fine as I needed to get it done. I’d been there for over an hour and a half before my car was even moved from the parking space. I had to have a minor repair in order to pass inspection. The break light at the top of back window was out. It was a pretty inexpensive repair, and fairly quick to fix. Two days later I was in my trunk and noticed the housing that cover the break light on the inside was exposed. It had fallen off. There is a small clip on each side of the housing to secure it in place. So far I have only found one of the clips, so it keeps falling off. It’s a small thing, but it’s really frustrating that something as small as replacing a break light bulb can lead to a continual annoyance.

Very Disappointed. I started going to this location almost 2 years ago when I called to inquire about tires and met Russell Soto, the store manager. Russell was great and very helpful. Based on his service and commitment to taking care of my needs I bought tires for the wife’s car and referred friends to buy tires also. Recently I have noticed a steady decline and poor work quality. We have not been dealing with Russell during these poor experiences for what it’s worth. I had my oil changed the other day and noticed oil stains in the garage at home. The mechanics fails to clean/wash the old used oil off of the skid plate when they serviced it. Not the end of the world, but in the end I had to do it at home, so what am I paying for (?). The wife brought her car up one instance to have the alternator replaced, an almost $500 service mind you. The other day the indicator light that initiated that service came back on and we brought the car back. After dropping the car of at 7:00 am and hearing nothing by 2:30 pm the wife called to follow up. She was informed the mechanics had completed the check and all was good. No paperwork was given to verify this and she had to call and follow up, not the other way around. Again what am I paying for. The service industry in my option is made great by folks like Russell Soto. I am very saddened by the recent service Plaza has displayed and I hope Russell fixes this issue so we can continue service with Plaza. Also, My tires were purchased at this exact location and every single time I get an oil change the staff must be reminded to rotate my tires. Which tells me they are too lazy to look up my information or completely disconnected from their customer base. Again Very Disappointing and Very Displeased.

I need a new set of tires and went to Plaza Tire. I had already pick out some on their web site but Jason showed me a better time tire for a little less money. I was in and out in about an hour. Which was incredible given how many vehicles they had in the shop. I be back the next time one of my cars needs tires. I highly recommend them!

Balanced my tires, got me in and out within an hour. With the COVID19 going on, they covered the inside of my truck, wore gloves while working, I felt safe and satisfied, but of course wiped down everything myself after the job was done.

They called to let me know that more issues were wrong with my car than I thought and asked if I wanted them fixed before they just did it or waiting to see if they should have when I went to pick it up. Took my 2013 Nissan Murano in to have them check a noise I was hearing concerning the brakes. Front brakes were good, back brakes needed replacing. I waited while they did it, and it was only 45 minutes! I'm very pleased with the service, the personnel, and the clean bathroom! Thank you for not taking advantage of an old lady.

I visited this location for an inspection. The inspector, Russell failed me, said I needed 4 new brake pads and 2 new front rotors. He claimed my front rotors were so messed up that they couldn't be turned. He quoted me $400 for the job. I bought new parts and had my personal mechanic do the job. When he pulled my wheels off, he said my front pads were a little low, but I didn't actually need brakes and my rotors looked brand new. We went back up there together on 2/29/20 and had the same guy pull them off to show my mechanic why he failed it. I had already taken it to the south Campbell location that morning and they passed it no problem. My mechanic showed the passed inspection to Russell and asked why he was trying to rip me off, and Russell then proceeded to get mad and threaten my mechanic. First time I've ever gone to this location and it will be my last. I'll stick with the S. Campbell location or Nixa location from now. If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. Russell has no business inspecting vehicles.
