I feel that time was taken to do the inspection; however, the estimate and amount of work suggested far exceeded a previous inspection from another inspection that was done. The first inspection's total cost was $1778 versus Transolution's $4,300 plus. While Transolution revised the work needed to an estimate of $3,000 plus, the cost was too exorbitant for me. Shortly after getting the vehicle home, I drove it and the brakes went out on me near Les Schwab on Broadway. So, I had them inspect the brakes, which were noted on Transloution's estimate of needing repair to the tune of $700 plus, and all that needed repairing was a leaky valve for $112. I feel that I was being duped by Transolution into thinking this and that needed to be repaired. I will not be using them now or in the future.

My husband was giving his grandson's his orig 89 Toy SR6 PU. Lots of sentimental value and wanted to make sure all the components were in tiptop condition. This truck was taken from Missoula back to Marysville, Wa. Chris and his crew went from front to back, top to bottom to insure it was in good condition. There were many things that needed to be fixed, but the knowledge that it was a safe truck for the grandson's was priceless. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I have been in the automotive world for 42 years, and worked as a damage estimator for a large insurance company in claims. I can tell you for a fact that there are alot of facilities that charge for repairs that are neither necessary or cost effective. Chris and his facility are straight shooters. Tire bearings/oil change/leak

You guys did a great job and saved my vehicle from huge repairs, catching how close my tire was from falling completely off! Service was amazing and I appreciate how friendly and wonderful you are. Your always thorough with what needs to be taken care of and I am glad to know I'm getting the best care for my cars. Oil change/brakes

Awesome service, Chris and Brian we're very kind and friendly to my kids and I while we waited for our repairs and oil change, they made sure to explain exactly what we had gotten worked on and how they did it, as well as informed me of future care for my car to keep it in tip top shape. I will be bringing my other car there soon to let them have a look at it and repair it! Wonderful service guys!!

Replace water pump

Water pump went out on vehicle on a Friday evening while returning from working out-of-town. Mr. Chris Gerber, owner, and the Transolution team was able to get my vehicle in and replace the water pump the next morning (Saturday) so I could be back at work out-of town on Monday. As always, Mr. Gerber was very through and detailed with his communication although the repair process informing me what was going on through the entire water pump replacement process and answering any questions I may have had. I recently have had trust concerns with auto repair companies, however, that is not the case now. The Transolution team is a company you can trust who still believes in old fashion values of standing behind their work and service. I highly recommend Transolution Auto Care Center for your vehicle car needs.

Dependable Mechanics

In early May my husband and I and our dog Scooby had set out from southeastern Idaho, headed for 2 weeks of camping in the San Juan Islands in our '96 Dodge van, a van that has worked like a top for 3 years and has asked little of us to date - so clearly our number was up. It was our first day, we were loaded down and ready to hit the road! By the end of the day we found ourselves limping into Missoula. When we got there, Kathrine (who was so kind and reassuring on the phone), Chris and his crew (despite it being 4:58pm - quittin' time on a Saturday) whipped into action, their goal, to get us back on the road that evening. Long story short, it was determined that we needed a new fuel pump and filter, not a simple fix. Of course nothing was open on Saturday night let alone Sunday so after getting the van working well enough to putter around town, we spent 2 nights in Missoula and Monday morning met back at Transolution's to fix the van. Katherine shuttled us and Scooby into town so that we could entertain ourselves while we waited and happily picked us up later in the day when the repairs were done (above and beyond in my book). Chris, clearly a mechanic with a teacher's instincts and a passion for helping people, couldn't have been kinder. He explained what he had found and how he he had fixed it in a way that we non-mechanics could understand - There's a lot more detail to the story but suffice it to say, by 3pm, we were back on the road with a printout for our mechanic at home to see all that he had done. He asked us to call him to let us know how things were going on the road, and he even gave us some of his father's home made goat cheese as we headed out the door. As I mentioned, despite it being 5pm on a Saturday, they rallied to help us. They shuttled us into town. They invited Scooby to wait in their waiting room. They fixed our van. Chris even called us a few days later when our vacation swept us away and we hadn't touched base like we had promised we would (who knew there was so little reception on the San Juan Islands?!). It was not a small bill but it was not a simple fix either and Chris and his staff were in a word, amazing. We feel so fortunate to have fallen into their hands.
