2011 BMW 535xi has sporadically drive train malfunction, of unknown cause. To make long story short, I once used Peak Auto for a Jaguar about 5or 6 years ago, and have received great price, good service, plus a loaner. I called this time about BMW engine decarbonization and was quoted $1,200 plus tax, while Leith BMW quoted $900 for the same job. This is the second time I called Peak for a price within the last three years or so, and each time they were few hundred dollars more expensive than the car dealer. The advice I got was not to clean injectors, at $20 a piece, while that is a cheaper procedure that can eliminate the need for costly decarbonation, and every mechanic I spoke to suggested that as a first step after I changed all the spark plugs and coils. I will not go back.2011 BMW 535xi has sporadically drive train malfunction, of unknown cause. Been going here for 7+ years. Always cheaper than the dealers and always honest and direct service. Enjoy the fact they wash the car also after every service. Even have loaners available when you have a long term repair. Great hours and reliable service at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend. Karthi K. NatarajanBeen going here for 7+ years. Great place! Very professional, nice waiting area. They were good with communication about my vehicle's repairs-I understood what needed to be done yet didn't feel "talked down to". The estimate was accurate and repairs were done quickly. I had to bring my car in on two different days, and both times my car was cleaned and detailed when I picked up-such a nice surprise. Highly recommend them. Rachel DavisGreat place! Very professional, nice waiting area. I took my 2008 in for an oil change and general inspection. John at Peak called and said the front strut had leaked out and the cost was $2,400. I thought I had air suspension so the figure did not throw me. When he called to say it was fixed he said it was only $1,700. After I started driving the car, I noticed it was a lot stiffer. Upon inpsection I found the car had Yellow Bilsteins instead of MB parts. I went to MB dealer and got a quote for two shocks for $810. I went to Peak and asked John why he Bilsteins on the car and charged me $1,143. He said they were better. I told him to take them off and put MB parts on car. He agreed and got the parts for $700 and refunded me $475. When I picked car up I showed John that the Bilsteins can be bought locally for $460 for two. I asked him why he charged me $1,143. He made up some BS that the list price was probably higher. Bottom line. I have been going to PA for over 10 years. This time John took advantage of me (or tried to). If you use him, double check with your dealer. John is no longer cheaper than your dealer. Not once did John appologize or same I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
