Randy Richards is the owner/manager of Precision International. He started in professional auto service in 1975 after receiving an associate degree from CPCC in Charlotte and founded Precision International in 1979. Randy is an ASE-certified Mastertech and has L1 advanced diagnostic certification. He specializes in diagnostics, electrical work, troubleshooting and engine management systems.
Married to Cindy Dollar, a popular local yoga instructor, Randy was born in Ohio and lived in Pittsburg, Los Angeles and Charlotte before moving to western North Carolina. He loves figuring out problems and fixing things.

Did the necessary troubleshooting and found some other items that did need to be resolved but were important. Needed to take to another shop, but no problem -- they were clear that someone else should handle those repairs.

Great service as usual. Especially liked the extra efforts to buy brake pads that don't or should not sqeek on my Jaguar. Also like the good communication on diagnosing the problems and what was to be done. Met the goal for completion of service.

easy as pie and great. dropped car and picked up loaner. Did the reverse the next day. Then drove 700 miles and was quite happy knowing that they could be trusted to make sure the car was in great shape!

Asked for outline of Schedule B for my MB E350. Received an email with detail of all inspections and service with prices. Much better than the dealer, which is not saying much, but also very much in line with other garages I checked for the 60K service. They promptly scheduled and performed all service. Owner took time to explained some of the obtuse "Benz-speak" inspections to me. I plan to be back for my next Schedule A.

The car provided to me while you were working on mine was greatly appreciated. There is one ongoing issue with my car that it is slow to start only once in a while. Can't seem to find the issue during the last two visits. Otherwise I am satisfied with the quality of work and I trust what Nancy says, and happy that it is Randy who works on my car.

Loaner car apparently had not been adequately serviced: low coolant and low oil warning lights ON. Added coolant and oil --- lights OFF, but with two (2) quarts oil added (by customer) dip stick still showed no oil. Not comforting!

Thanks for the service on my Garage Queen, 2005 BMW Z4. It was nice doing business as I had trouble finding a shop who would perform this service. I was told else were that they could not do the BG service on my BMW because they didn't want the liability working on it. Well, that wasn't the case with Precision. They not only did the service but provided me with the BG level 2 warranty so I plan on coming back to Precision when my next scheduled transmission service is due. Thanks Precision. Satisfied customer for life.

The only place that I have taken my car the last several years has been Precision. Nancy is always nice, professional, and responsive and the repairs are done correctly. The cost seems to have been increasingly at a fairly dramatic rate, but that may just be the going rate. I haven't gone anywhere else.
