I was told that I would have to drive 500 miles or more in order for the light to go off, which it didn't. They checked and "discovered" that I had a cylinder 6 misfire and they replaced the spark plug, but I had gotten new plugs and wires previously!? I was, then, informed that I would have to drive ANOTHER 80 MILES before I could proceed with my inspection!! I'm a senior citizen that doesn't go far, drive hard and go through unpaved, rough places. I feel as if I'm being mislead somehow. I'm extremely hesitant to continue to do business with Tuffy.

Technician did not take care to minimize oil spreading on engine compartment components from filter change. If spill happens it should be cleaned up.

I usually do all of my maintenance so I like to make sure things are done correctly. I look at my car closely after work has been done. The inspection passed! But when we the tires were changed, one of the tires was put on in the reverse direction. It’s a directional tread pattern tire, so needs to be rotating the correct way to push water out of the way. Came back and they fixed it. But then they left the center emblem cap off. They were able to locate it thankfully. Tire pressures weren’t set correctly. One was 30psi the other 38. And the valve stem cap not there. To me it’s the details that matter and here there’s a lot of carelessness. I’ve come with my X5 diesel in the past and received a laundry list of items that need to be changed…one thing that absolutely blew my mind was that I needed “new spark plugs”. It’s diesel! There’s no spark plugs. So as you can imagine there were a few other items on there that were unnecessary. I give 3 stars because they did try to make it right but there needs to be some better care. Anyone who doesn’t know anything about cars wouldn’t have caught any of this.
