Oil change should not Take 2 hours. Previously it was 30/40 minutes.

If there was a 1/4 of a star to give for a review I would. I have been taking my all of my vehicles to this shop for 20+ years. The previous owners were like family. The new owners decided not to honor the free tire rotation that comes with the purchase of tires. When you purchase a business, the standard practice is to continue business as usual, not raise prices extremely! This is a small community. They quoted my father-in-law $300more than another small business just to redo his breaks. He’s been bringing his vehicles here longer than I have. The new owners are single handed ruining what the previous owners spent building. It’s sad!

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The woman told me it would be a few minutes that they had a couple in front of me and that she would have to email me a receipt because computers were down. It took an hour and fourth seven minutes. Both front fenders and the front of the hood has oil smeared all over.

I moved to Hildebran 6yrs ago. I have bought tires for my daughter there many times and had service done for my vehicle and was planning on buying tires from you. It's convenient to work and home to come there and I have always been treated very professionally and told about issues with my cars. I like the hometown feel, just like at Alrays in Valdese. I knew my tires were going to have to be replaced soon, my son said they would last a little longer to have them rotated. So I came to Select Tire, 112 miles ago and had them rotated. My question to the lady up front was, why wasn't I told they would not pass inspection in July, 112 miles later! She told me all kinds of reasons and then read me what the guy had written in the inspection that was done when the tires were rotated. Still, my question is, why wasn't anything said to me, I would not have rotated the tires knowing it wasn't going to pass inspection. I would have used that money to buy tires two weeks later. The only thing I was told was that I would'nt be able to rotate them again, which I knew. It was a different lady at the desk than who I normally speak to, I hope she hasn't quit! You will lose buisness for sure. I have worked with the public all my life, it's very easy to tell when someone is being rude and spiteful even while placating me. ESPECIALLY when she stepped behind the glass door, where I can see her mannerism, and I have excellent hearing! She brought a gentleman up to speak with me, never seen him before either, but he was nice. And she had the audaicity to interrupt and cut him off while talking with me. She walked off and I told him, she did not treat me nicely. He wanted more info, but I knew she was coming back and I wasn't going to be belittled anymore, so I let it go. It's kinda funny, she really thought I was going to buy tires from you after the way she spoke and treated me. Alrays isn't that far from here, I'll go where I'm appreciated for my buisness. Oh and by the way, I was there 45mins waiting for a simple inspection when I finally asked her what was taking so long for them to take my car back. I feel like I was ripped off and money is tight for me right now. Not to mention the disrespect from that lady. I wasn't even going to pursue the matter any further, but I received this survey. I do hope you take in to consideration there are tire stores everywhere, with little to no difference in prices. So your credibility and customer service is all you got to make a living with. Kind Regards, Sandy Franklin

The old Select tire guys replaced my oil plug and oil pan before the new company bough them out. I went for an oil change last Friday and my son called me Saturday to tell me the oil was leaking out. All of it. The car is in OH as he drives it to work. It took an hour and 40 minutes for an oil change and only after sitting for the first 49 mins did they take my car back. Then I am to assume now since there’s no oil in the car that they 1- re-stripped the plug or 2- didn’t tighten the filter. Oh but they gave me 10% off for waiting. This “customer service” won’t fly in the small town of Hildebran where we all came to know and love the old select tire and the value of service and courteousness they provided. I paid $49 for an oil change that lasted ONE DAY. Now my son is in OH trying to figure out how to fix this problem on his own. I will not return to this location again. This is absolutely ridiculous. I hope someone can have the decency to call me after reading this. You know who I am. I let you know Friday that it was absurd to have to wait that long for an oil change to begin with. What happened to quality workmanship and integrity??

Satisfied but you would think if you buy tires there, rotation would be free. Helpful information when I buy next set of tires.

Very nice people and do good work. However would not honor the price I was originally quoted. I could have bought the same tires at Discount Tires for 100.00 less but preferred a local owned business that quoted the same price however after tires were installed would not honor that price.

I now have a sizeable dent in my door that was not there when I dropped my truck off. Unfortunately it was on the passenger side so I didn’t notice it until I got home.
