Front end repair, Ball Joints, U-Joints, Wheel bearings, ETC
I never thought the ball joints would come out. They were "married" and extremely rusted, Tim's confidence assured me my vehicle was in the right hands. He worked his magic, and my front end is as tight and smooth as new. A+

Exhaust, Clutch, Traction Control
Where do I start? These guys really know their stuff. I brought in my 2003 allroad for a full APR exhaust and ECU upgrade and soon discovered that my 110K mi stock clutch wasn't handling the power. They set me up with a Stage II Daily APR clutch which has a very nice pedal feel. Best thing of all is they spent hours upon hours diagnosing an ESP issue I've been having for almost three years that four other specialty shops (including the dealer) gave up on. Turned out it was and aftermarket CV joint that was causing the problem. They even through in an oil change for free! Thank you Steve, Tim and Serene. You guys are amazing.

Transmission, suspension air bags, brakes and oil leaks
I have a 2001 Audi Allroad with 175k miles. I have been told by other repair shops that I need a new transmission for $6000. I heard about Northern European Automotive and brought my car in. My transmission was fixed(for about $500). My air suspension bags were fixed successfully for the 1st time! It was well worth the ride and saved me major $$$'s. With the savings, I got a tuning upgrade = more power and fuel efficiency . Tom

Tim at Northern European Automotive is the best mechanic ive ever had! I drive a 2001 saab 95 and im what u call a saab snob! and i dont let anyone touch my car but Tim!He has done everything on my car from a oil change, to replacing my alternater,Also I went to 3 places trying to figure out why my car wouldnt start hot thats how I met Tim,I went there and he found that that transmission nutral saft switch was overheating he showed me by poring cold water on it and car started immediatley and he stayed late working on my car till it was done. and one other time he gave me his personal truck to drive. Tim is the best man and mechanic ive ever met ill only go to him hes honest and reliable

Air Suspension, tires and alignment
I have known Tim McLean for ten years and feel that my older cars: 2 Audi Allroads, VW Touareg, and Porsche 911 are being well maintained and monitored. His new facility is state of the art and his new service advisor is both on the ball and very proactive. I have the confidence that a family member will not be stranded on the side of the road despite the higher miles on some of my cars.

Daignostics and repair
I brought my car to NEA having intermittent check engine light and running issues. Tim the owner was amazing. He took the time to pin point exactly what the problem was and explain to me what and why it was happening. Cars back up and running better than ever. Owning 2 audi's I know that I'll never bring them anywhere else. Definitely the place to go!!! THANKS TIM and NEA!

90k service t/belt tires
I went to NEA for the first time last week I wanted a evaluation on my car to see exactly what condition everything was in The owner looked my car over and noted what was needed to get car up to date with service and other items,he went down the list with me and explained what was most important to what could wait,He had found that one of my tires was dangerous and cords were showing,I was very impressed with there service.My engine was cleaned car was washed,and now my car goes so smooth down the road !I wish I found them years ago,If you live near Concord and have a Audi NEA is the place to go I was very pleased ,

APR ecu upgrade
I had my 2012 GTI tuned by NEA,Tim the owner did the work himself,ECU upgrade,cold air intake,exhaust,everything came out perfect neat &Clean,My car runs awsome Thank you Tim! You did a great job you are the only one that will touch my car!!This is the only place to go with your VW or euro car if you want quality work done in the Concord area
