I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Would you believe the estimate I got from a local new car dealer was almost $2400.00 for a leaking intake gasket and they needed 2 weeks to complete the repair.At this location which i stop to gas up my vehicle they found a cracked vacum hose ..my invoice bottom number was $89.00...i just couldnt believe my eyes...next day i drove my car with a pleasure which i coulnt for a long time...Moustapha is a great person to talk to..what a great personality..

Don't go there! unprofessional liars! Charged me 2300$ (cash) For used transmission, they give you (6 month warranty which is nothing) less than 6 month transmission was out of use.. they fixed it again, after few months car got the same exact problem, during fixing transmission they damaged muffler and asked more money to fix it. Also very rude personal, specially owners, be careful with them! They really stressed me out about timing.. I lost a lot of money and time.

They took my money and promised to repair my car they never did they didn't return the money either and they didn't fix the car I already sued them.

Nicholas S 347-836-1574 - Logistics manager of this body shop had a customer car at his house in South Richmond Hill on June 20 at approximately 4:45 pm. His kid brother backed out of the driveway into my car while I passed by which caused damages to the right side of my car. The cops were summoned and statements were given. My insurance company made numerous attempts to contact this person with no success. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!
