TIRES

incompetent inferior service and the owner charges shocking fees. They are not really even trying to do a good job, they are a cattle house waiting to slaughter innocent victims.

Best Work Ever

Best place to take your car. They did the pads and rotors for $250 on my 2006 accord. The pads have a lifetime warranty. I would never think of taking my vehicle anywhere else. The dealer always wants more money, sometimes i go to Rayco and they have prices that are over $1000 cheaper thank going to the dealer. Going to the dealer is the same as asking to be robbed. Rayco has been there for over 50 years, they are the best.

tires

HORRIBLE!! I called about used tires. was given a price of $40 each for a set of matching 4. Not a bad deal. When I got their they were already "sold". Charged me $55 each because they were a matching pair. 3 1/2 miles later after coming out of a karate class one was flat. Called up and they said it was my fault nothing they could do. Took the tire back and they told me they would fix it up. I wound up with a totally different tire that was balder than me. They never even told me they switched tires. I just happened to look. It's sad. Jakes grandfather was inside and was so nice to my kids while we waited. Thats why they got 1 star. Thought I had finally found a great place to have repairs done even if I had to travel 25 miles up the parkway. WAS I WRONG. GO Someplace else.

Owners were rude.

My car was making the same noise after I paid over a thousand dollars to fix. I informed the owner Steve and his son Jacob. They told me I have to spend another couple thousand. I brought it to Pep boys and they said Rayco did a bad job and never diagnosed it right. I told the owners and they told me my car was fixed ok and they called me a liar

Tires Brakes

They changed my tires and said mine were no good. I asked to see the original tires at the end of the service and they would not let me see them. They kept repeating that the old ones were no good. I was busy talking on the phone when put new tires on and wish I would have gotten the chance to take pictures of the originals. Do not trust these people, they are liars. DON'T GO THERE. Also my new breaks make more noise than a squealing pig. My car feels like the brakes are sticking and won't go fast anymore. The 3 jack off owners refuse accountability.

Charged my grandmother $$1400 for new tires. This is not right, the consumer board will hear about this. They claimed they did work that was never asked for. U TOOK ADVANTAGE

brakes and muffler

quality work, reasonable prices, outstanding customer service. fast service as well. fixed my car at the 60k recommended tune up. Jacob is so nice! Grandpa is the best! Steve was really polite as well. Showed me exactly what was wrong with my brakes without upselling me. it was just the pads, but super important because i thought all the brakes had to be fixed. then the muffler was repaired as well. super nice family. there is a reason why they've been in business for over 50 years!

alot :)

amazing service. good prices. quick. reliable. trustworthy. steve the owner knows what hes doing. jake the manager is even more amazing. family business and truly care about your safety. they show you exactly what is wrong with your car on the computer and then physically show you what is wrong and why. they dont lie. thats how i found them. for a 2nd opinion from the dealer..... they dont make stuff up. they fixed my breaks stopped 2 leaks, repaired my head gascat (spelling), &timing belt. they turned my 11 year old car into 1 years old and ive been a loyal fan ever since... sometimes they have deals with brakes and also sell used tires for cheap so you can always have a spare instead of a donut. i bought my spare for $25. used it for 3 months now. cool :)

Brakes and AC

The owner did a terrible job. I brought my car into a nearby Auto Shop in Eatontown in the early fall and they told me that Rayco never changed the brakes only sprayed them with some stuff yet charged me the full amount as if they changed all four pads. Air Conditioning was leaking because Rayco took a short cut and never put the red dye in yet charged me for added 134 freon gas. I gave Racyo 2 chances to fix it right but they were unable to find the problem. The other Auto shop said Rayco never bothered to screw the AC hose back in. I will never go back to the Jake and Steve Bedar family again.

transmission, tires, oil change

Rayco is so good! they saved me 1500 with transmission problems. i was quoted with engine and wires etc problems and almost got the work done with the other company right up the street. i went to rayco for a second opinion they told me it was my transmission and suggested new tires because of the tread and i went to one more place. they said transmission and quoted me 700 more (not even a dealer- the 1st place was a dealer) anyway in total i was saved over $1500 and i still have my 02 toyota :) I LOVE RAYCO! and they are so nice, honest, and they care

timing belt

Rayco got me a very good price on a timing belt for my car. I got quotes from several other shops in the area and their prices were the best. I've been going to them for a while now and I'm always satisfied with the quality of their work and with the way I'm treated there.

Rip off!!

A friend of mine had his car towed there & they recommended over $1000 worth of repairs & that was supposedly with the military discount! He only fixed one wheel to get the car running & took it someplace else & they quoted MUCH less. Recently had my car towed there, they charged me $100 to tell me that it would cost another $500 to find out what was wrong. I made a few phone calls & got answers from another mechanic who told me its risky paying $500 to take it apart & gave me a completely different recommendation. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!
