Do you hate paying $150/ Hour at the dealer, or have brought your precious BMW to a mechanic claiming to be a “BMW specialist” only to have more problems than you brought your car there with? Fear not, Tyspeed is here. I am a BMW Master Technician , ASE certified Master Technician and BMW performance and restoration enthusiast. I will be glad to show you a portfolio of projects and previous works, as well as my certifications. I have and use BMW factory ISTA diagnostic tools, and have superior working knowledge of many classic BMW’s as well as all new and current models, up to F80/82 M3/M4 I have worked at the dealer, and seen the way they charge their customers, all while usually delivering a sub-par standard of quality and service writers who do not know an E30 from an F10 M5. Let me personally help to fix and explain all facets of your BMW Service, help you get a BMW restoration project underway, or my personal favorite, ADD SOME MUCH NEEDED HORSEPOWER. I have had great success with Burger Tuning’s products on all N55/S55 engines, the new N20 4-cylinder and the outgoing N54 engine. Let’s put a little more pep in that BMW’s step. ASE master Certified, and with a dozen BMW training certifications to boot, seven years working on almost nothing but BMW’s is paying off. Fully versed in diagnostics and complex engine repairs, there is NO BMW to fear in Tyler’s eyes. From rebuilding 2012 M6 twin-turbo engines (N63) at the dealer, to performing a short block exchange on a legendary BMW Z8 (S62) and everything in between, there is really nothing he can’t handle. Recent involvement in a one-off build, a Factory 5 33' roadster using the e92 M3 rear suspension, standalone s65 engine (supercharged by Active Autowerke), and many of his own custom built components, has really gained him some serious credit and noteriety in the field. Set to debut after 2 years of work at SEMA 2016, it will be a complete show off all his skills and expertise gained in the automotive field thus far.
After several years working at the dealership, and achieving Technical Team Leader status at BMW of Bloomfield at only 23 years old, Tyler decided to take on the challenge of offering a more personalized and affordable BMW service on his own, combatting the ever increasing cost of service as well as the sub-par standards found at most BMW dealerships today.
From basic to extensive repairs, adding horsepower to the popular new turbocharged BMW engine lineup, or restoration of that classic Bimmer, Tyler Pappas and his company ///Tyspeed Automotive hope to demonstrate the never ending passion, skill, and dedication of working with the BMW brand to each and every customer to drive through the shop door. –

BMW Repair
I had Tyler work on my 2011 335i xdrive, his knowledge and passion of these cars is beyond words. He will explain in detail the needs for your car and would work with you to achieve the performance goals. Now I found the perfect technician for my car.
