Hans Wittler and his wife Christel immigrated from Germany to the United States in 1958. Hans brought his knowledge of German automobiles and worked as a factory trained dealership technician, specializing in Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen automobiles.
In 1975, Hans decided the dealership way of doing business was not up to his standards. He established Hans Wittler Automotive with his own ideals shaping a quality service experience. Christel and Hans worked together for 24 years to make their small business success with help from their sons Roger and Andreas. With their father’s standards of hard work, dedication and integrity, Roger and Andreas took control of the business in 1999.

Oil Change & Battery replacement
I’ve been going to Hans Wittlers for 20 years and will probably never take my foreign car to another mechanic. Their pricing is reasonable, definitely much better than the dealerships. They treat you very well and work with you. Roger and Andres have always been excellent! They are professional and definitely do not recommend unnecessary services just to make $. Called in the afternoon and got in first thing the next morning. I was in and out within 45 minutes!

analysis of engine light
You guys have taken such good care of me over the years. I know the Audi is on her last legs and I so appreciate you calling me before putting a lot of time ($) into her at this point. I will be seeing you soon with the Porsche for his 30k checkup. It is so comforting (and rare) to be able to sincerely trust the mechanics working on your car. You guys are true professionals.

BMW and Audi Repair
We have taken our vehicles (2010 BMW 335Ix, 2015 Audi Q5) to Hans Wittler's for a couple of years now. They have great mechanics and stand behind their work. We had a mix up on oil filter sizes and they worked with us and made everything right...great integrity. Hard to find shops that perform stellar work and don't gouge you. Every city I have lived I have sought out that great repair shop you can trust...Hans Wittler is Albuquerque's choice hands down. Jeff D. Albuquerque, NM

Brake Service
Decided to call Wittler's after getting a long list of things that were supposedly needed according to the BMW dealer. I Scheduled and appointment two days in advance, that was the soonest they could take my car, which was perfect for me. Found out after taking the car in that half the work the dealer recommended was not even needed. My main concern was the brake warning light, which Wittler's took care of at a substantially lower cost than I was Quoted by the dealer. More than happy with Hans Wittler's! Friendly staff and clearly customer oriented! Will be taking my BMW back the next time service is needed!
