Head rebuild
Very professional job. The one place in Carson City I trust for machine work. Have used them over the past six years for various engine work.

welding, mill work
I was told by owner my work would be done 3 days. Asked if there was any problem doing the work (weld a spot a valve cover and mill down a intake manifold). They didn't want any money up front(thank GOD) was given the run around for two months on a simple job that shouldn't have taken over two hours(even though I offered to pay triple their going rate). kept getting told the owner was the only one aloud to touch my stuff(have no idea why because he was hardly there). asked for my stuff back and owner got pissed broke a door there of its hinges. He came back with my stuff and through it 25 feet to the front door. Asked if I should call the cops and the owner got even more pissed and told me to leave.

Service Provided
I had my SBC rebuilt and stroked into a 383 at this shop. They did an excellent job and gave me a lot of great advice on the different options that were availble. Increased torque by about 110#lbs and HP by about 100. Engine pulls much better now. I have about 10,000 miles on the rebuild and the engine is running great! They also referred me to a guy that turned my 4L60E transmission into a 4L65E and it is doing great as well! I would HIGHLY recommend this machine shop over any other in the Carson Valley area.
