In 1974, Butch Strutz and Mike Butler formed Butch’s & Mike’s Auto & Machine Repair which primarily built and balanced racing engines, but soon evolved into working on cars and trucks. The business expanded year after year and in 1986 the partnership dissolved and Butch’s Automotive emerged.

A new and modern facility was designed and constructed into the Butch’s Automotive you know today. In 1993, a transmission rebuilding facility with the latest technology and equipment was added providing the same quality and service that Butch’s has provided for almost 25 years.
