Valve Cover Gasket Replcement, on a 2008 Caddilac 4.6 Liter North Star V8
Economical Auto (Matt) has always don't good work for me, as his shop name says, at an Economical price. I had this valve cover gasket replacement quoted by 2 other small shops in the area, Economical was the most competitive price. Matt, keeps you abreast of the status of work being done, calls when work is done, for pick up.

Removed old defective badly welded hood latch suport beam, installed new hood latch support beam, removed broken and installed new hood latch release cord going to the cabin lever.
Matt was great and stayed late to finish emergency job, as I arrived 1/2 hour before closing and was traveling cross-country (not staying in town). The hood latch support beam was defective (my hood flew up on the interstate!). He had to remove the old beam which someone had welded badly, then attached a new one, fixed the release cord going to the cabin lever, and charged much less than Chicago prices. He did a great job, was honest, and went the extra mile for me. Top rating.
