All car mechanical service/inspections

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Honest, direct and efficient. No fulling around with your car. You can trust John and if he can't or doesn't perform particular work needed will refer you to reputable alternative. I've taken my cars to Maloy's for over 15 years and would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend Maloy's Service.

Service Provided

While service was fast the cost is a bit steep at least from my point of view. I was charged $75 for a 45 minute job. Mr. Maloy does not go by per hour labor, he, instead charges you by the make and model of your car and how difficult the book in his office tells him it will be regardless of the technicians experience . So even if you bring your own part and the job takes less than an hour, he still will charge you the same amount. It makes me wonder if I was charged $75 for 45 minutes would someone else with the same make and model car be charged $50 for 45 minutes for a different part installation? In essence I should have been charged $56.25, $18.75 for each 15 minute increment. I was quoted much cheaper labor for the installation by other mechanics but he was the only one that could get me in promptly. I'm not sure but I don't believe mechanics charge additional for convenience! Now on a different note he always answers his phone (which is more than I can say about one mechanic I've come across), he does the work fast and proficient. I will have to wait a couple of months before I can comment on his quality of work. H
