1st visit Cooling system flush, 2nd visit replace radiator, 3rd visit pinhole leak
First visit was because they were recommended by our regular mechanic to flush out the gunk in my son's 2001 Jeep, most likely caused by a previous owner using the wrong antifreeze. Daughter warned us that with the gunk removed she couldn't guarantee that we wouldn't get a leak, but that never happened and it worked like a charm for about 2 years, until... Second visit was to replace the radiator (about 20 years old at that point) when it cracked at the top. I don't see how this could possibly be related to the flushing, so it's just one of those things. Daughter also recommended replacing the water pump which made complete sense so we also had that done. Third visit was just last week, about another two years after the radiator replacement to check out a slow leak - no obvious holes or drips, so I suspect it's a pinhole leak in one of the hoses (now more than 20 years old). Daughter has always been very professional and honest with us, and I would add she's always been friendly with me on the phone and in person. I wouldn't hesitate to take any of our other vehicles there.

replaced radiator, anti-freeze, installed a new thermostat and flushed the block and heater.
I called to speak with daughter regarding anti-freeze leaking out of the housing for the thermostat that they replaced. When I first explained the problem she had no recollection of the work performed but was already mentioning things that most likely be wrong and of course these were things that would cost money. I asked her to look up the invoice on her computer she did and claimed they didn't replace the thermostat but had written notes about the old thermostat?!? Then she remembered they did replace it and began making other excuses to get out of any responsibility of correcting the issue and telling me it was probably some other thing that of course was going to cost more money. What she didn't know was I had already put a wrench to it and the damn bolts on the housing were only hand tight...both of them. But she wanted to argue with me so I told her, "if you're going to argue with your customer, this customer will take their business elsewhere". Here a window into the character and professionalism of Mike & Daughter's Radiator, she told me to go ahead and then called me a name and hung up on me!! LOL, I am a man and was to the point calmly and professionally. She is not trustworthy in my opinion, doesn't want to stand behind their own shabby work and I am suspicious of her ethics and business practices. BEWARE....
